So, a modern genre twist with the will leaving everything to the unexpected person who the hero believes must have coerced his aunt into doing this.
The heroine though, is not as expected, but is rather an intense naturalist with an abiding love of butterflies – just like the aunt. The love of which bonded them when they started to write a biography together.
Gradually they learn each is not what the other thought they were and yes there is a wedding. A contemporary romance with enough detail to reassure you

I adore a good romance, and when I received a copy of this book I couldn't wait to dive in.
The characters in this story are so detailed and believable, each with their own flaws and difficulties to overcome.
I really liked how the romance developed at a realistic pace too as Alice and Hugo get to know one another better.
It is impossible to not find yourself fully invested in this story, and rooting for the lead characters to get their happy ending.
A definite must read for all romance lovers!.

I've always loved a good Mills and boons book and this didn't disappoint. A lovely story of romance when you least expect it.

Believable characters and an original plot make this story engaging and romantic. Intelligent and kind Alice has a history of picking the wrong man. Widower Hugo is struggling to live without his soulmate. They meet at a will reading, and first impressions are not favourable, but gradually they grow and nurture each other towards happiness.

The Butterfly and ecological themes add authenticity to the story. The romance is gentle, and the characters endear themselves to the reader. You want them to find happiness together.

This is a heartwarming tale with a relatable plot and engaging characters.

I received a copy of this book from Mills and Boon via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

Alice and Hugo are bought together at the reading of the will and are immediately at loggerheads. Alice is deterred to build her butterfly house and Hugo is determined to not allow it to proceed, but slowly they start to thaw and to really see each other and their hopes and dreams. I enjoyed the flirting by geeky facts and found the story interesting as well as romantic. A lovely read.

This was a really well written and enjoyable read. The development of the relationship between Hugo and Alice is great fun and emotionally satisfying. I loved the trips out to various places as they explored possibilities for transforming Hugo's Aunt's house and the naturalistic way their relationship developed.

A will with conditions, an architect and a butterfly conservationist expert, are thrown together by his recently deceased relative and her friend.

Their joint project brings a closer connection, new beginnings, new feelings and commitments, in this romantic story.

With a happy ever after ending in this romance of love, joyful happiness and contentment.

Ah!
