Thanks to netgalley for the chance to read.
Molly moves to Little Bridge As the new librarian. A baby is found abandoned in the toilets of the library and later at the new library a young girl is found. Is she the mother of the baby and if so why was the baby abandoned. Sheriff John hopes to solve the case along with finding out who is responsible for a spate of burglaries in the area. Will true love blossom between the two.

I usually like Meg Cabot's books but i loved this cozy mystery. It's got all the elements of a good cozy: the quaint small town, the quirky and likeable cast of characters, a librarian and a sheriff, and a mystery to solve.
The characters are likeable and relatable, the mystery is full of twists and turns and the humour made ma laugh more than once.
I hope this is the start of a new series and I hope there will be other books with these characters.
Highly enjoyable and recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

Well, reading this has taught me a lesson - leave childhood authors alone! I used to LOVE Meg Cabot's Princess Diaries, and read most of her other YA works and enjoyed them. So when I spotted this on Netgalley and got approved, I was thrilled. I was also wrong. It wasn't so awful I couldn't read it, but it was pretty bad. The "romance" seemed forced, the characters were irritating and cliched and the whole villain subplot was a bit ridiculous.
Definitely an hour of my life I'll never get back.

Always loved this writers book, and this was no exception. An really easy read from the beginning. Loved the main characters Molly and John! Perfect beach read

A fun rom com depicting two lovable and engaging characters that you’ll want to root for. This novel was even more engaging than the previous ones I read by the amazing Meg Cabot.

Part mystery and part romance this book reminded me a little of MC’s Heather Wells series. The story is based in a small town filled with the kind of weird and wonderful characters that you would expect. Molly and John were cute even if it did take them a little while to get on the same page. Funny, intriguing read.

I received a copy of this book to review from Netgalley. Thank you for the opportunity.
This book was a perfect beach read in that it is light and easy to read. There is a lively cast of characters especially the MC which add fun to the page. The writing is good and witty.
The romance is sweet and I particularly enjoyed the other relationships in the book such as the Sheriff and his daughter. The crime theme is also interesting and keeps the reader turning pages to see what happens.
On the whole.a great read.

Not What I'd Expected... 🤔
Told from Molly and Sheriff John Hartwell perspectives, met for the first time when Molly in her job as a children's librarian, finds an abandoned baby in the ladies toilets. They don't get off to a great start and it goes from here.
This book was not was I expected to be honest, it was a mix between a mystery ad romance, on the whole for teens, but at times more young adult. It was an okay read, but not the specific genre I'd thought.

I really enjoyed this book. It was humorous, cute and had liberal dashes of intrigue. It isn't like any of the other Meg Cabot books I've read, but then again why would we want her to just keep pumping out the same stuff all the time, there'd be no point buying it as you'd have already read it. All the characters were really likeable; especially the old lady who donated the library, she was a real firecracker. It was nice how the love story and crime fighting took equal stature in the book and it didn't lean heavily one way or another. I also liked how everything wasn't described in lots of detail line w some authors do, i.e describing every piece of furniture in a room or even physical feature of the characters, it was nice that she allowed the reader to use their own imagination, and in so doing didn't take you away from the story and stalling it by needless descriptions. All in all I'd say it was a good read and it's recommend it. It isn't over of those groundbreaking book club type novels, but it's perfect for a lazy beach day

A rather obvious romance with some cute moments, though it all felt too clearly signposted.
Molly Montgomery is the new librarian in the charming town of Little Bridge. When she finds a baby abandoned in the new library we know there’s something strange going on. She is intrigued by the case, and just a little curious about the sheriff investigating it.
From the outset we can tell there will be romance between our sheriff and the librarian, and we’re just waiting to see what else goes on alongside it.
There’s some cute scenes, and you can’t help but like them, but it doesn’t really offer anything out of the ordinary. Perfect summer read, and I’m grateful to NetGalley for the opportunity to read this prior to publication.

Meg Cabot is a master of romantic comedy, no matter the ages of her protagonists. I loved taking the dive back into Little Bridge Island and watching another story unfold.
Molly, single and stereotypical children's librarian, meets John, single father and small town Sheriff. As Little Bridge is rocked by a series of crimes, they begin to fall for one another!
Once again, the whole cast of characters are lovable and entertaining, and I spent the whole book wishing that I could move to the Island.
Sexy, sweet and brilliantly funny, this is one I'll be rereading all summer!
I received a copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

I'm honestly gutted that I ended up having to dnf this book.
On paper this book sounded perfect. A cop and a librarian?! However this book just fell flat. I kept trying to read it but I honestly could not get into the story or connect with the characters. Instead I found them incredibly frustrating and annoying.

There wasn't really anything wrong with this book but I don't think it was advertised quite as it should have been.
I was expecting a nice romcom with a little background plot but instead ended up with a cozy mystery, heavy on the crime solving and light on the romance.
It wasn't badly written and the characters were engaging, especially Elijah, but it just wasn't what I was after.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.
A cute read.
Molly whose the new children’s librarian on Little Bridge Island.
She loves her surroundings until she finds an abandoned baby in the bathroom of the library.
John, he grew up in Little Bridge is now back after some time away as the town sheriff.
There’s an instant attraction with Molly and John but neither of them, want to be in a
But there’s nothing like a mystery in a small town to bring two people together.
I loved reading this as well as the sense of community in Little Bridge Island.
The relationship John had with his daughter was adoring to see.
Molly, was a sweet and I loved her passion she had for books.
Plenty of LOL moments and not to mention the adorable pets..
