Absolute Christmas perfection. Funny and moving and heartwrenching and heartwarming, and made me want to immediately book Christmas in Scotland.

I adored Gayle and Samantha, both were difficult characters and I really appreciated how Gayle's behaviour in particular was explained with careful tenderness but not entirely excused. It was clear that families are messy and complicated but that you can choose to embrace that with love and openness together. Also as always Sarah writes swoonworthy heroes and perfect romantic chemistry. I just wish this book had gone on forever, because I loved it so very much.

Festive Family Drama....
Festive family drama and a feel good read for Christmas. Rekindling relationships, forgiving the past, fixing feuds and moving forward with the future. With the stunning Scottish Highlands as a backdrop, credible characters and an engaging storyline. A heartwarming tale.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.

Gayle Mitchel, who is a hugely successful businesswoman, she prides herself on making choices that ensure her success and that of her business.

But these, unfortunate and non-nonsense choices have also led to the estrangement of her two daughters Samantha and Ella.

Her two daughters Samantha and Ella both love Christmas. Samantha, is a successful business woman in her own right and owns a travel company, one that specialise in Festive Holidays. They always spend Christmas together as it is their favourite time of the year.

After an accident which results in Gayle reconnecting with her daughters and asking them to spend Christmas together as a family. Her daughters wonder if their favourite time of year will be spoilt.

So, as they all begin their celebrations they also begin to learn that the best way to move forward, is to first face up to the past in order to allow their hearts to become healed.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
It had romance, snow and plenty of festive spirit to get you to start thinking about the festive season.

This was another Christmas winner from Sarah Morgan. I loved this story- it was sweet, romantic and nostalgic too. I loved the families Sarah creates and always wish I could meet them in real life. The dual setting of America and Scotland was a real treat too.
There was one continuity error or mistake in the edit- happy to elaborate if required.

Thank you for the advanced copy and I eagerly await Sarah's next book.

Another lovely Sarah Morgan book. I always look forward to a new book from Sarah.
Gayle is a hard hitting business woman who has built a very successful business. Sadly her two daughters Ella and Samantha, and small grandaughter Tab, have not had any real contact with her for almost five years, and relationships have not been good. The two sisters rely very much on each other.
An accident means that Gayle is incapacitated and somehow invites herself to the Christmas holiday that the two girls have organised in Scotland.
Without giving away the story, lets just say that relationships and feuds are healed.
Loved the descriptions of Scotland at Christmas, something Sarah Morgan does so well.
Thanks to NetGalley for a review copy which I very much enjoyed.

This is a perfect Christmas read set in the highlands of Scotland. Gayle has an accident and this makes her want to reconnect with her two estranged daughters and together they go to Scotland at Christmas to reconnect as a family. This book was full of emotion which made me laugh and cry - but in a good way. I enjoyed this book. Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for letting me review this book.

A charming, emotional Christmas story. Sarah Morgan's books are a treat to read. Gayle has always ignored Christmas, even when her two daughters were small. A bad accident makes her reassess her decision. When she joins her family for a magical Christmas in Scotland, they are horrified, but Gayle is determined to have a happy winter holiday with her granddaughter, Ella. A book to enjoy in front of a roaring log fire, glass of red wine in hand.

Ella and Samantha have a complicated relationship with their work-driven mother, Gayle, and have not spoken to her in 5 years since they had a falling out. After an accident, Gayle has re-evaluated what is important to her and decides to get back in touch with her estranged daughters at Christmas time but so many things have changed since then.
.
I loved that the characters did not always know if they were doing the right thing or being too harsh in situations as it felt so realistic.

The description of the scenery in Scotland was so intricate and beautiful I felt like I was there.

This was a great festive read and completely consumed me as I read it.

Another fabulous book from Sarah Morgan. I really got involved in the storyline and the setting and would love to be there with my family building snowmen, choosing a Christmas tree to cut down and a then there is the sleigh ride pulled by reindeer - wow. This book has it all. It’s full of family love, forgiveness and New beginnings. A definite five star Christmas book

Thank you Net Galley for sending me this early release copy. I loved to learn that Sarah Morgan writes one Christmas book per year - such an amazing Christmas tradition to be able to have! This is the third of her Christmas books that I have read and have really enjoyed them all.
Is there such a thing as a normal family or a perfect family Christmas? Sarah Morgan delves into family relationships in an engaging way that leaves you feeling emotionally invested in the characters. I was willing on Gayle throughout and loved to see her relationships grow with her daughters but also to make a new friend in Mary.
A perfect heartwarming Christmas read, I would definitely recommend.

What a beautiful heart warming story. I was glued from the first Page right to the end. Such sadness in so many lives ending in a perfect happy Christmas Day. Would definitely recommend for a feel good Christmas romance. I may even re read it when we are closer to Christmas.

Sarah Morgan is one of my favorite authors. I love her books and this one is wonderful. I love all of the characters and it's a book that I just wanted to keep reading. I am hoping that there is going to be a sequel.

The story is about Gayle and her two daughters whom she has become estranged from. Gayle is a high-powered, successful business woman, a role model to many. Her life changes dramatically when she suffers an accident and begins to re-evaluate her life and aims.
Sarah Morgan is one of my favourite authors, and I enjoyed reading about the family relationships, told by Gayle, Samantha and Elle. All different personalities, giving a more rounded viewpoint. The book is humorous and light hearted, written in a chatty style, but also exploring some serious issues.
Five years ago there had been bitter disagreements between the three women and they all find it difficult to try and reconcile their differences. Many adjustments have to be made by everyone. I liked all the characters, Gayle and her daughters, along with Mary, Kirstie, and Brodie, the laird who runs the family home. Their characters are well written, as you would expect from such a skilled, talented author.
Much of the storyline takes place in the beautiful snowbound Scottish highlands, with a handsome Scottish laird, who desperately needs funding to keep his home from falling into disrepair. Samantha has several plans to help him. Lots of humour, warm-hearted, welcoming characters, all help to make this a thoroughly enjoyable read which is ideal for Christmas.

A really good festive read, putting you right in the mood for Christmas. The story starts about Gayle, a very hard working, focussed woman who puts work before life. When Gayle has an accident and ends up in hospital, it makes her think about her life choices.

Samantha and Ella, her daughters, have a fantastic relationship between them, but neither have spoken to their mother for 5 years. When Samantha receives a call and her mother is asking for her, they both decide to go and see why. They are both suspicious

The story is a road of discovery for all of them, and there are a lot of revelations along the way.

Recommended for sitting in front of the fire on a cold winter's day.

A beautiful story set around how family is always important even when we think otherwise! This story made me cry in parts! Absolutely love it

Gayle is a highly successful business but it means she hasn't seen her 2 daughters Samantha and Ella for 5 years.
She has invited herself on their Christmas vacation to the Scottish Highlands. The girls are extremely worried as their mother never celebrated Christmas with them. She also doesn't know that Ella is married and has a daughter Tab. Very enjoyable book

After a more than tumultuous 2020, I have been dreading Christmas so thought I’d dive into some feel-good Christmas books to try and buoy up my mood and this did just that! Heartwarming but not too fluffy, the characters are all real and likeable and I almost want to start making Christmas cake!

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC.

I've always enjoyed Sarah Morgan's Christmas inspired stories and this one was no different.
One More For Christmas explores the fractured nature of a mother's relationship with her daughters, where her trying to do the best for them, ends up forcing them apart.
Then an accident brings them together, where secrets are unveiled, and in the midst of it all, a romance begins to blossom.
A great read for Christmas, with some touching moments,

Christmas romance novels are a not-so-guilty pleasure of mine. Every year, around about the end of November I search out new ones and reread some old favourites. There is a possibility that this could join the latter list.

This is a story that delivers exactly what the cover suggests and is full of warmth and a glorious location which is essential for a Christmas book of this type.

I loved the characters, was slightly in love with Brodie and the descriptions of the home and the scenery made me long for a snowy escape. It felt odd reading about Christmas so far from Christmas but in our present odd times, it was also rather comforting.

So, yes, I really enjoyed this book and as I've now discovered that Sarah Morgan is a real Christmas romance devotee I will be seeking out her previous books!
