It was so refreshing to read a book on religion and spirituality that wasn't preachy and didn't make me feel guilty for not being "Christian" enough or practicing my faith in the "correct" way. I think part of that came from the perspective that the book was narrated in, almost as if God were speaking to you as the reader, rather than some religious/theological experts lecturing on what you're doing wrong in your faith.

This was almost like a devotional, which was nice because it made it easy to follow and digest--I didn't feel overwhelmed after reading a chapter and I could process it before moving on without much difficulty. The emphasis on the positive, uplifting aspects of spirituality (rather than on Scriptural mandates or the requirements of organized religion, which many nonfiction books on religion tend to focus on) made this more of a motivational narrative.

I love this little pocket book full of God. It’s a book that you can continually go back to again and again. Full of uplifting wisdom and a book that just makes you feel good.

This is a small book but it it is a book that can help you understand the importance of a God filled life. You can really hear God’s voice if you really listen. I have downloaded the audio book.

Netgalley, why was this book put into the Christian category, when Christ isn't even mentioned not even once in it? More than that, God isn't mentioned either, but karma, divinity, cosmic nonsense ,your divine self - in few words - this is all about new age philosophies! And I know better because I come from that background!
I am VERY disappointed by this matter! There is no Christ in this book, yet it was added into the wrong category and it is misleading people! This is not why I requested this book!

This book was received as an ARC from DPK Publishing - Ascension For You in exchange for an honest review. Opinions and thoughts expressed in this review are completely my own.

I loved every word of this book. Especially during this difficult time, we loose track of our way due to what we hear in the news and media and from what our politicians are saying what we should do but in the long run its all within us to stay true to ourselves and believe that all will be all right no matter the situation. I also love the hope and positivity that traveled all through this book. This book would be perfect to read after a real tough day to reassure us that all will be ok as long as we stay on the right path. I know this book will be heavily circulated throughout our library and can't wait to hear the opinions derived from it.

We will consider adding this title to our Self-Help collection at our library. That is why we give this book 5 stars.

This book has a collection of thoughts and expressions, the kind that would calm your weary mind.
I found them to be very poetic and soothing.
Thanks Netgalley for the eARC. I'd recommend this as a companion to any Christian because especially at times such as these where uncertainty reigns, it's reassuring to know that God is always in control
