This was an ok read for me. The whole "girls getaway trip" is becoming too much of an overdone theme in many books I am reading lately. I did enjoy getting to know the three friends, though. It definitely isn't an edge of your seat thriller. I'd read more by this author in the future.

A mystery that is set in Tuscany. This story has everything from mystery, suspense intrigue with good characters, and dialogue to go along with the scenery. There is just so much to like about this book that you will not want to put it down once you start. A very good book.

The twist really surprised me - didn't expect it at all. There is suspense all the way through as it's obvious something isn't right but great twists.

I loved the way the suspense built up in this, it had me on edge throughout and I didn’t guess what was going to happen which is always a bonus. I flew through this and found I couldn’t put it down

This is a suspenseful thriller that builds the momentum at a great pace that really held my interest throughout. Your thrown in to the storyline from the first paragraph and the pages just kept turning. Really likeable characters and great character development. I felt I had really gotten to know them before the suspense really started building. When it comes to the plot I had it fairly well sussed early on and although I was still interested to see how it played out I was hoping for a few surprises that I hadn’t guessed along the way. Really like this authors style of writing and how she weaves a story. Would be interested to read more by this author.

The Perfect Liar centers around three good friends taking a much needed spontaneous vacation. A neighbor offers her own vacation with one caveat, her godson Harry will also be there during that time but no one has an issue with that. I almost forgot I was reading a thriller as I was so engrossed in reading about each of the women and I was really attached to them before the sparks fly with Harry. Did I mention he was a twenty-something charismatic hunk to these women?. The sparks are followed by doubt, suspicions, accusations, and finally the sparks ignite. Easy read, perfect for the beach or a rainy Sunday afternoon.

The Perfect Liar
This book was a good read. I enjoyed the characters and the location of the story. I had a theory from early on, but then you keep turning the pages to see if you are right, and if you are then you ask why. I always enjoy a book that keeps me guessing.

Three women spending a few weeks in a luxurious villa in Tuscany - what could go wrong! Tension galore with the extra houseguest, Harry. The first half was as languid as the Tuscan heat, just ambling along especially with the inclusion of everyone’s back story. It gets going and then becomes quite pacy once plans are afoot but there’s an element of predictability about the story. Despite that it would still be a good holiday choice and would pass the time nicely.

I really loved this book, which was about a woman called Susanne who goes on holiday to Italy with her two friends. While there she meets a man called Harry and they have a fling, but is he all he seems or is there something sinister going on?

This was my first time reading a book by this author and I will definitely be on the lookout for other books from her as she is a very good author.

I loved the characters of the book, the story and all the little twists and turns which kept me turning the pages to find out what was going to happen next. I also loved that the story was set in Italy and I enjoyed reading about the different locations there. I felt like I was in Italy with the characters because the descriptions of the places and characters were so good and felt very real.

This is a perfect book to take on holiday with you, to read on your journey or at your destination. It will certainly keep you gripped!

Many thanks to the author, publisher and Netgalley for allowing me to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

An interesting twisted and intriguing story, well written and with characters that are depicted as very reliable ones, this book was a great escape from my daily chores. It’s suspenseful and it kept me guessing throughout the book because while I thought I knew how it will end, there are many moments when I knew nothing or predicted anything.
A must read author for sure.

Oh I loved this twisty read! Susanne's son is spending a month with his dad, her ex and his soon to be wife. She's needing some cheer up time. So when her neighbour offers her Tuscan Villa (in return for looking out for her godson) she jumps at the chance asking old school pal, fiery Dale and her timid new gym pal, Evie who is mourning the recent loss of her mum along.

What can go wrong? Well a lot of things quite frankly.... the Villa is luxurious and Harry drop-dead-gorgeous, young and fit. Things go smoothly for a while - chilling out, sunbathing by the pool, drinks and eating delectable Tuscan food.

Susanne finds herself having a passionate holiday fling with Harry who is far too young for her. The others are unhappy with this development and how it's making her more reckless. Why is Harry not phoning home? Who is his friend Star who always seems on the scene? As things start to unravel there's lots of tension between the girls as well as lots and lots of twists and turns - my heart was in my mouth half the time! Absolutely loved it and fingers crossed for book #2 (I want to know what happens next!)
