I've not read this author's work before, but I certainly will in the future, though a little slow at times I thoroughly enjoyed this charming and delicious book set in the most romantic city; Paris.
Paris is the central character to this entire story, the author has put so much of the city into the story who needs a tour guide when you can just read this book?
I loved the Parisian feel; the art, romance, drama and of course the food - you will be left constantly hungry while reading this book!
Love Among the Recipes is an incredibly sweet book, maybe a little too cute for my liking at times, but an enjoyable light-hearted story which will while away a few hours.

Thank you so much for this adorable book! I love that rather than wallow after her cheating husband, she decides to find herself in France and start living for herself.

This has been on my TBR for several years now, and I can’t seem to make myself finish it. I’m sorry! I’m sure someone will love it, but it just isn’t for me.

I just wanted to read for an hour tonight but before I knew it the snacks and drinks were gone; the evening had fled, and I had finished and thoroughly enjoyed this book. Paris, here I come!

I received a complimentary copy of this book.

Love Among the Recipes is the perfect soft and sweet romance. I have a soft spot for books with recipes and this was no exception,

The topic of the book sounds really interesting, but despite multiple attempts, I was just not able to immerse myself in the story and finish it.

Despite this book not being 100% my cup of tea. I have to say that the writing was moving and greatly paced. Perfectly sweet with a dash of good feelings and a pinch of a great time, a great recipe for a contemporary romance.

Was unable to download this one due to formatting troubles. When I had access to it, I had a hard time reading it. Tried reading this one and it just was not meant for me. This does not mean that it is not a good book, I just was not in the right place to be reading it and have decided to not try picking it up anytime in the near future.

Wanted to enjoy this one, but it felt a bit like a downer. Too long, too much happening when in fact nothing is happening, and then it all rushed ahead and became a bit of a muddle along the way... If I'd been on vacation and had had just this book to read, I might've enjoyed it. But with choice of more books around, this one just doesn't keep the attention, and it ends up being an underwhelming stroll that loses its way somewhat

Thank you to NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for the chance to read and review Love Among the Recipes. I am sharing my review voluntarily. I enjoyed the plot of this book including the getaway and the vivid imagery of Paris. I felt at times it was a slow read and I had a hard time holding my attention.

This is a great book about an author who writes cookbooks. I really enjoyed it and I think fans of Joanne Fluke will enjoy it a lot.

I received this from net galley and exchange for an honest review.

This was a very gourmand book and definitely made me want to try some French cuisine. Definitely a nice, cozy, foodie romance that takes place in Paris and I enjoyed it.

I'm a bit behind on this one, so I'll keep my notes short.

I was charmed by the writeup on this book, from an author I wasn't familiar with. I'm relatively new to the "foodie romance" craze, and this sounded like fun.

I loved the premise of Gen rediscovering herself and preparing to make some drastic changes in her life. Her journey through Paris, French art and French foods, was delightful and heartwarming. The friendships she creates, and the connections between the food and her adventures, combine to make for a fun, whimsical, encouraging story of someone just finding out (again) who they want to be.

It was such a fun read! The food made my mouth water and I even poured a glass of wine after my bath because this book had my taste buds yearning.

Genna is oblivious and cute. Her clumsiness is endearing and I absolutely adored the budding friendships in this book. I laughed and smiled at her awkwardness and how she literally tripped, all around Paris, haha.

I read this book in two days and look forward to more stories like this, especially on rainy, cold Autumn days.

Those that enjoy light Romance, food and Paris will enjoy this sweet story.

I loved Genna’s story. She’s so courageous to move to Paris, a country in which she barely speaks the language. Meeting people, making friends, taking it one day at a time. I wish I could be more like her!

The romance was sweet and wholesome, with several players, I was left to wonder who would be the man Genna chose to make a future with. Or would she leave them all behind to focus solely on her career? It was such a great story to get lost in! I don’t know much about Paris so many of the places Genna visited were a little lost on me, but I still enjoyed the descriptions and how she came up with a Recipe that matched the location.

I was happy with the ending but wished that it wasn’t the end. I really enjoyed the lovely stroll of this story.

I had hoped this was going to be funny, light, alot of food and cooking with a dash of love. I was just left bored, the main character go around apologizing, and has some sort of trouble with Drew (ex husband?) and flirt, and are going to write a cook and guide book but apperaently can`t cook herself? It was just boring, i didn`t find it funny or interesting enough to finish.

In Love Among the Recipes, Genna, a cookbook author, leaves her philandering husband and goes to Paris to write a crossover guidebook/cookbook. There is a big scoop of culinary creations, whisked into vivid descriptions of Paris, topped with a dash of romance.

Unfortunately, I didn't connect with the main character at all so this was a miss for me. The writing was very good, but a little slow at times, and I will read more from Carol Cram in the future!
