This is my first experience from Rumi, so when I saw this book here. I didn't give it a second thought. And I am glad I read it.
Full of emotions, thoroughly romantic, I would suggest it to any poetry lover as well as to a sucker of romance. I liked the work of the translator. the whole experience was amazing

The Love Poems of Rumi, translated by Nader Khalili, is a beautifully illustrated and timeless collection that ruminates on the nature of love and all of its guises. This edition would be a treasured addition to any home library, and is sure to be one that readers will return to time and again as a touchstone of sorts, while navigating their own resplendent life.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group - Wellfleet Press for the opportunity to read this ARC.

This beautiful collection of poems by Rumi capture the spiritual essence of love. Freedom, ecstasy, self-love, and purity, colour and code each poem with words and thoughts that speak to the depths of heart and soul. Hopeless romantics and lovers will find solace in these poems which bring to light the multi-dimensional beauty of love.

The translations by Nader Khalili bring out a richer symbolism from the poems compared to other translations. Believe me when I say you will bookmark and revisit many of these poems time and time again.

This is not my favourite Rumi; reading it felt strange and bizarre. In this book, Rumi's beautiful poetry and proses are lost in translation. They hit differently but not in a good way.
Thank you to Netgalley & Wellfleet Press for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.
