Terrain of Souls -I was given a copy of this book for review

Not expecting a supernatural story to start in the Vietnam war. I am old enough to recall seeing the war on the evening news, so the story brought me back to that time. Very well written and a joy to read. I did feel bad for the main character, not only having PTSD but added visions of the dead as well. I am looking forward to more books by this author.

this was another great book in the series, the characters were great and I really enjoyed the horror elements. It made me excited to read more in this series.

This story begins in Vietnam with action so intense I warn other Vietnam vets to beware. Nightshade uses his paranormal capabilities to protect his fellow soldiers until He is severely wounded in an ambush. The second story begins after he recovers and returns to his home. Heartache and terror await as he returns to his home in the hills. The writing is clear and easy to read. The descriptions are sparse but good. The characters are realistic and well-described. The story grows in suspense as it nears the end. I became more and more engrossed as the suspense built. The bad guy is thwarted, but gets away, leading I suppose to another volume. While the Vietnam section made me apprehensive, I enjoyed this book and recommend it
