This book is recommended for kids ages 4+ but it would have been way too simple a story to read to my kid when he was four... I'd recommend it for younger kids or kids with very short attention spans. The vocabulary is incredibly simple, the text is sparse and the story is super basic. The pictures are pretty cool, but again basic, and it's a super quick read - even by kiddie's book standards - which means compared to others on the market I'm just not sure I'd recommend it...

Pablo is a very tired rhino, the problem is he just can’t fall asleep. The last straw is when his friend porcupine leans in for a hug, Ow, hugs from a porcupine can come with quills!

Pablo stomps off to find a quieter place to sleep. He tries different spots, the grass near the pond, nope, the frogs have a singing, dancing party.

He tries the forest, some meditation first. But then, his skunk friend pays a visit, Pee-Ew.

He starts to stomp off again but then starts thinking about his forest friends and all of the fun they have together. Back to the forest he goes and surrounded by his friends he finally falls to sleep.

This is a simple bedtime story suitable for ages 2 and up, depending on attention span. The illustrations are cute and a nice range of animals are described.

This is a cute little book that would be a nice addition to a toddler’s collection.

Pablo is annoyed with his friends who keep disturbing his rest, for the simplest of reasons. He was in a foul mood and moved to a deserted area, away from them. Now he should sleep, but the poor guy couldn’t sleep all because he misses his friends, interruptions and all, what a coinkydink.

This is only the second children’s book I’ve tried to read electronically. I downloaded it because I was going to see my four year old grandson. I had layout trouble and couldn’t move from page to page without stuttering and jumpy screen time. I was never able to read the story with my grandson but I read it myself. As a lifelong insomniac, I could relate to Pablo. I thought the story was very sweet and I liked that he had friends with interesting names.

I liked the illustrations in this book a lot!

The story was a sweet one, it had cute illustrations and was easy to follow.

The book was well laid out and well written.

It was a fun read – 4 stars from me for this one

This story was very simplistic. It lacked any kind of hook that would persuade me to buy or even check it out from the library. I did, however, enjoy the illustrations. They were very cool!

Cute. Love the cape/ blanket and how he ends up back with friends. Looks like it could be multi textured after printing.

This was a very cute and simple story about a cranky rhino who wants to go to bed but he can’t because his buddies are too loud. Haven’t we all been there? 🤣

The pictures are simple but lovely, as was the text. I think this would be a perfect bedtime story for the younger crowd.

I received this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Pablo the rhinoceros just can’t fall asleep. His friends are not particularly helpful. Add this one to your collection of bedtime stories. It has the familiar comfortable elements, yet it includes different animals. When was the last time you read a bedtime story about a rhinoceros? It can't miss!

A cute book about how a rhino can't fall asleep because his friends are being too noisy. This would be a nice story time book.

Fun little book for kids to enjoy! The story could be a little bit more interesting but overall I'd reckon someone if a younger age would love it.

Super cute bedtime book. Pablo is annoyed by his friends (who are still awake) as he tries to fall asleep in various places. He finally realizes he misses them and goes back to the forest to sleep together with all of them. Well-illustrated, short and sweet!

Have a little one that needs a good night's rest? "Pablo Can't Sleep" is a great new bedtime story for young readers from author, Aurelia Higuet. The book follows Pablo, a tired rhinoceros looking for a quiet place to get some rest. Everywhere he turns in the forest, one of his friends is there and keeping him awake. Will Pablo ever be able to fall asleep?

This story is a short, sweet and fun tale that will help kiddos get in the right mindset for bed. The animals characters are fun and kids will enjoy seeing what happens next to Pablo on his quest to find the best sleeping spot. Our family liked this book and it was the perfect pre-bedtime read!

This book strikes me as the typical bed time book. It isn’t overwhelming in its plot or imagery. It’s cute but not extravagant. It’s interesting but not that much! It would be a good bed time training book for a kid to learn to read or to listen while falling asleep, and I don’t mean that in a bad way. The book is themed about sleeping and it’s just one of those types of books that are easy and simple

I enjoyed this book and thought it was a sweet story and liked the drawings.
I can’t wait to read this to my 3&5 year old nephews at bedtime soon.
The issue I had was downloading this book it was clunky and hard to read on the PDF would have been easier to let me read like a book than have to scroll on the screen. It would have been annoying if this book wasn’t a 20 page kids book.

Thank you NetGalley for the Arc copy in exchange for an honest review.

A good book about the importance of friendship. I just wished we saw more of their friendship at the end.

This was a cute book about a rhinoceros that could not sleep because of the noise and how he finally gets to sleep. The story is short, the text is simple and this would make a fun bedtime story but not too fun because we want them to sleep. ;)

Thank you to the author, the publisher, and NetGalley for granting me early access to Pable Can't Sleep in exchange for an honest review.

Pable Can't Sleep is an adorable story about a rhino who is trying to find a place to sleep where his forest friends won't bother him in one way or another until he realizes that he'd rather have their company than be alone anyway and goes looking for them.

This is a cute bedtime story appropriate for preschool age and up, and I adore the paper cutout style illustrations. They're so much fun! Caregivers and the children they're reading to could have a lot of fun searching for different elements of the illustrations as they go along, making this potentially a very interactive book for the kids.

This children's book is about a rhino called Pablo who cannot get to sleep due to all of the noise around him from his friends, who want his attention. He eventually finds somewhere he can sleep, but then he realises what he is missing. My daughter liked this book and we will read it again.

Many thanks to the author, publisher and netgalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
