The authors have nailed this subject in their book. It is one of the few technical books which I would recommend to the small business person who just needs the basics in bookkeeping and accounts. I would have no hesitation in using this book for teaching adult learners in the basics of accounts. Very well done both. I'm currently studying Accounting and I Found this book very Captivating! I learnt a few things which i did not know about and refreshed a few others! Would recommend this book to anyone who's interested in Accounting especially for the period and moment of time we're all in!

I'll say this upfront; I was curious about accounting and simple finance management and did not expect to read such a detailed and well thought out book, so that was a big win for me.
The author's writing is ideal both for academia and the general audience and I enjoyed reading this and I had my bias as well especially why accountants value the bottom line so much and in the author's own way, he explained intricate details of finance that I truly learned from this book.
