Strangers by C.L. Taylor is a fast paced book with a lot going on that will keep you interested.

Ursula, Gareth, and Alice all end up in different strange situations. All three are used to not having anyone to count on, so do not like relying on others. Their stories end up twisted together and they must work together as strangers in order to survive.

Strangers is an extremely fast paced book. From the beginning there is so much happening. I really enjoyed it and was hooked from the beginning. The separate stories were all very unique and interesting. Usually in stories like this I can’t wait for the stories to intertwine, but I was so invested in the separate stories that I was in no rush for them to intertwine.

Strangers is the perfect amount of suspense, action and character development. Dating struggles, missing mom, weird roommates, and getting dating advice from their child all added to the intrigue of Strangers.

Strangers is a very unique story and I am so glad I read it.

I listened to the audiobook and Clare Corbett did an excellent job narrating. Her voice really added to the story.

I recommend Strangers for anyone looking for a fast paced thriller.

Thank you NetGalley and Avon/Harper Collins Audio UK for Strangers.

What a nice surprise! Really entertaining. Fast paced, witty, gets your attention from the very beginning till the very end. An original story of three strangers and how their lives get linked together. Really liked the plot and the characters, how they all are built and developed... Loved Ursulla! One of the best thrillers/mistery novels I've read in a big while. Really good.
Also, I loved the audiobook. The narrator and how she plays the different characters is just fantastic!

Ursula, a delivery driving kleptomaniac, recently evicted and recently moved in with Edward! What secrets is he hiding? And why did he go into her room while she was sleeping?

Gareth, works as a CCTV controller. His mother has dementia, his father is dead. So why is his mother getting postcards from him?

Alice a shop worker is attacked on a date. Followed by a stranger, Simon, who hands her bag back. She agrees to go on a date, but is warned off. What is he hiding?

I loved this audiobook. The narrator instantly drew me into the story. The characters were all likeable and had interesting back story's. I enjoyed getting to know them all and needed to know how they were all connected! It's a thrilling page turner. The narrator made the story come to life and I enjoyed listening to her.

in this latest audio by CL Taylor we join Alice and Simon who meet after a date goes terribly wrong, Gareth a security guard struggling with work and caring for a mother with dementia and Ursula a kleptomaniac delivery driver who needs somewhere to live desperately and even though Edward seems a bit odd she is out of options. As we explore these characters and how they all fit together along with a backstory of a possible urban myth about a serial killer what follows is an exciting thriller with more twists and turns than you could ask for. This is a great audio with well developed characters who I really loved getting to know and beautiful narration by Clare CorbettYes

Ursula has never recovered after the murder of her husband and has sunk so low that her best friend has kicked her out of her apartment. Desperate, she finds herself agreeing to share an apartment with a total stranger, Edward. Alice has stayed away from men after her husband left her for another woman, but on the advice of her friend and her daughter, she decides to give internet dating a try. It’s a disaster, but she meets Simon, a . man she thinks she could really like. Then he ghosts her. She wants to know why and won’t give up until she gets an answer. Ursula and Alice’s lives are about to collide in a way that will leave them changed forever. This isn’t just a random thriller, it’s a story about finding your inner strength, about finding your way back from the dark places life can send you. And a story about women being able to save themselves

Claire Colbert is 5 stars all the way and I'm so glad she was picked for this auido book. She is one of my favourite narrators and I have brought books on Audible I've never heard of simply because she's the narrator!!

Now... I'm ashamed to say that I have never heard of C. L Taylor before and considering the amount of Facebook book groups and book clubs I belong to I actually don't know how this is even possible!! So as soon as I finish this review I'll be heading over to Audible to purchase a new book.

This story was very original and I finished it in one session. The characters were really interesting and likeable. I cared about all of them and what the outcome was going to be. The only very small thing I have to say is at first it was a little confusing trying to remember who belonged to what story line as there were so many characters but it all came together beautifully In the end.

Will definitely be recommending this book to my book clubs and groups
