Thank you for the ARC ebook.

This is a fun little puzzle book. Definitely will be better in a hard copy version though!

So much more than I expected it to be. Great for revision for medical students, and fascinating for aspiring medical students (okay, and everyone else remotely interested in the human body too).

This is a fun way to learn or review anatomy. I never expected to learn so much in one book, and have fun doing it.
Thanks to Net Galley for an ARC in exchange for an honest interview.

Gray's Anatomy Puzzle Book by Gareth Moore; Gabrielle M Finn was a great find, especially if you want to learn about the human body etc. This book covers all bones and organs in your body and how your body works. There is 36 amazing chapters and they are well illustrated. In every chapter you will find great puzzles and these include the major puzzles types from word circles to Sudoku. etc

This book will be great for someone who is interested on how the body works, someone at school, a student who is studying the human body or someone who just loves quizzes etc.

Big Thank you to White Lion Publishing, Quarto Publishing Group and NetGalley for a copy in exchange for my honest review.

While it took me a while to work though this, working on puzzles my brain could handle, I really enjoyed it. It was a good one to work on with my partner during lockdown times, didn't expect to learn so much from a puzzle book like this.

Although I wouldn't recommend eBook version, I much prefer drawing all over these books and filling in the answers on the page.

This is a great book to help learn and study human anatomy. There are 3-4 puzzles for each section of the body and I wish I had this to help me study through my human physiology class. It's a really great resource, but it's also fun and not so dense that you can't just use it as a normal puzzle book.

A great book to use for revision - but for a novice, you should get the main information from other sources as the actual info in this book is a paragraph or two, a general presentation of the subject. But as a revision book, it's a great help!

The Gray’s Anatomy Puzzle Book has 36 chapters. Each covers all the bones and organs in a human as well as the assorted body systems. There are two to three puzzles per chapter. The puzzles include all the major puzzles types from word circles to Sudoku. The illustrations are excellent too.

The Gray’s Anatomy Puzzle Book is an excellent tool for anatomy students to test their memory and their puzzle-solving skills. For regular puzzle lovers, like me, it is difficult to get the answers from reading the short introductory paragraph to each section. 4 stars!

Gray’s Anatomy Puzzle Book is a superb read as it's both informative and entertaining. Using a variety of different puzzles, including sudoku, anagrams, and crosswords, I found the facts about the human body fascinating. Ranging from amateur to expert, there is something here for everyone depending on your knowledge level. I loved that the challenges were all clever methods to force you to think and remember and then it reinforces what you have learned in your head; it basically tests your memory. It's a fun, engaging and refreshingly original way to learn about different parts of our bodies and their functions.

Each of the 36 subject chapters feature a full-page illustration of the body part in question followed by introductory text about it. Designed in a pleasing style, which is easy on the eye, I thoroughly enjoyed passing the time with it. The answers to all of the puzzles are provided at the back of the book, which helps you to understand how much you've learned. The information is a fairly basic introduction to the bodily systems and is therefore accessible to everyone. All in all, this is a fun and educational revision tool. Highly recommended. Many thanks to White Lion Publishing for an ARC.

This was very fun to do! I really learned a lot and as an aspiring medical student, this really helped me. And it helps me with biology.

A fantastic book!

I love all things gory and anatomy, and who doesn't love a good puzzle?!
There are a fantastic range of puzzles in this book, and I like that they are of varying difficulties as well. As someone with a science background, I was interested to see at who this was aimed. And I really like that this is suitable for a range of people, whether used for revision for children or young adults at school, for the simple pleasure of puzzle solving in a different way or to test yourself and your science knowledge.

I absolutely loved it, and the way it is broken up into sections works really well.

Fun and educational read! I've always been a fan of puzzles so when I saw this book, I thought "Why not refresh my high school biology together with doing some puzzles?" Great decision.

In all honesty, I've forgotten much, but also, I remember that the exposition in my high school books felt a lot more convoluted and muddy than the clear and concise info in this book - this is, after all, basic knowledge and not a med-student textbook.

Two things that I didn't enjoy as much as the book overall were the logic of the chapters - it didn't feel like they were going exactly as they should, body part by body part, so that felt a bit chaotic, and the "Cryptic clues" section. Without going back to the chapter text, the clues gave me no info whatsoever.

This book does more than just tell about anatomy, it provides a way to stimulate your memory about the parts of the body. The different parts, such as feet, neck, internal organs, and others are described in a brief summary. Then various puzzles are included to you have to solve using the information you just read.

This would be an excellent book for someone who is in the medical field, but it could also be enjoyed by someone who wants a challenging puzzle book. The puzzles vary in difficulty, so you can be sure to find one that fits what you are looking for in a challenge.

I received a complimentary copy from the publisher through NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

This was actually pretty fun if not a bit easy, especially as the puzzles relate to what you just read and they can become easy to answer ;) But I did learn a few things and think it would be great for high school/college age .

If you like to learn along with your puzzles, this is the book for you. Every chapter includes what you need to solve the puzzles, but the information is solid and not watered down. Recommended!

An interesting premise on learning. Each "chapter" (about 3 pages) contains the same things. One page a few paragraphs delving into a specific part of the body listing muscles, bones, tendons, and how things work. These are fairly high level and interesting to read. This page is followed by puzzles that usually have the answers contained in the paragraphs above with a few outliers. The puzzles are actually a fun mix of search a words, Sudoku, matching and more.
It was a lot to digest. I would HIGHLY recommend buying this book in the physical form as it will be easier to do the puzzles as well as flip back and forth to the answers.

Four stars

The Grey's Anatomy Puzzle Book by Gareth Moore and Gabrielle M Finn was fantastic! Thanks Netgalley. I took a forensic anthropology class years ago and this book would have helped so much. I loved the puzzles to help me remember what I just read. I really loved that class and this book was a great refresher. I can imagine a lot of classes would have use for a book like this. It was also very helpful to have the solutions to the puzzles at the end of the book. This will definitely be a book I look at again and will be sharing with others.

The authors of this book have really put a lot of thought and effort into it. Broken down in easy sections. Each chapter concentrates on a different part of the body. A good description is then followed by puzzles to answer questions rather than just a question and answer format. This has been done in such a fun way it’s sure to aid revision. I’ve good a good understanding of anatomy but some of the questions had me thinking. Follow by a groan and a laugh when you get the answer.
This is a brilliant revision tool.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the arc in return for an honest review

This book is amazing for college students studying for the medical profession or anyone else who wants a challenge. The skeletal system and the organs are laid out in 36 chapters with detailed knowledgeable excerpts, sketched pictures and a variety of puzzles the reader must have general knowledge about. The questions are both easy and hard with the solutions in the back of the book, , a perfect way to study
This is also a great gift.
