I did not finish reading the book because I did not like the way women were portrayed in it and since the story was overall hard to follow, I had a hard time with it. It was just not for me.

I was given an ARC of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest opinion.

This book was different. The concept was intriguing, but the story took about half of the novel to piece together and understand what was actually happening. Then when I figured out what was happening another host of characters was introduced and muddled the story. I figured it out but then the last third of the book was disjointed, and the ending felt rushed.

An ok read if you’re looking for a different plot.

This book was...... strange. I just could not quite get into the story. I didn't like the flippant behavior of the "romantic" Adam. I didn't particularly find him to be romantic at all. I struggled with the format and the writing. I wanted to learn more about the characters but I struggled to follow what was happening. I wish there was more about the science fiction aspect and less about the other stuff. I'm sure there are people who would appreciate a book like this, but it just wasn't for me.

A quirky book that dipped and dived a little with my attention. Overall I enjoyed it but I can't say I easily followed it

I appreciate having the opportunity to read and review this book. The premise is interesting, and the cover of the book is beautiful. Unfortunately, this book wasn't for me, and I ended up DNFing it due to the characterization of women in the book and the level of trauma that was being depicted.

I wish I had the option to submit this review without a rating, as my rating is only indicative of the part of the book I read.

I found this a weird but difficult read, a lot of trauma wrapped up in a weird lust/love added romance. There's a lot that is not known or well explained, thriller elements and just general weird juxtaposition. The main plot point being the main character ending their life repeatedly wasn't particularly enjoyable or well done in my opinion.

The writing of this is unfortunately not for me although the premise is extremely interesting. It read a little stiff, as if the characters were caricatures, and at the same time quite over written.

I didn't know what I was getting into when I started this book - i honestly had no idea what to expect but it had me at "the first time I committed suicide I was ten". I will be honest I was worried this may romanticize suicide but when you read it it is clear this is not supposed to present reality and that it is in no way promoting suicide or glorifying it.
I was drawn in immediately but at time lost and confused - it jumps a lot and at times the names and people get confusing because there is secrecy so I would have to think who they were talking about and what was going on but that aside I did really like the book and the draw of having "the one" made for you and also hello immortality also has its draws and attraction!
I did like the final conclusion as it allows you to kind of create your own ending but also provides some closure.

It's hard to write a review of this book. As the title implies, this book has a romantic heart, replete with love poems. But it is also a mystery story and a bit of a suspense drama. That seems like it would be complicated, but in reality author Moses Yuriyvich Mikheyev somehow manages to marry all these genres together in a way that is easy and pleasant to read. This could have easily been a very complicated and heavy tale considering the storyline, but instead, it is a quick read that is not confusing or confounding like I feel so many overly-complicated books are these days. This is good, as we follow Adam, the protagonist, as he tries to figure out why he seems to come back to life each time he dies. But at the same time, it may leave you wanting a bit more. Also, calling your love interest a 'kitten' or worse 'my kitten' sounds possessive and sexist. It took me out of the story several times. Adam doesn't mean it that way, but that is how it comes across. If you can get past that, this is an easy weekend read that is more complicated than your average beach read but still a breeze to finish.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for letting me read an advanced copy of this book.
This wasn’t good. It really wasn’t. The entire time I felt as if this book was satire, as if the publisher lost a bet and was forced to publish this book. Sometimes it hurts to read bad books and this hurt.
Plot holes? There’s tons!
Pretentious writing? You’ve got it!
Confusing shifts between first & third person? That’s a first for me.

The author also uses xenophobic spelling to convey accents & also just plain racist writing. Which again, makes me curious as to how this book was published!?!!
I also found this book to be INCREDIBLY sexist and misogynistic, literally every female character only exists for the satisfaction of men. They treat harassment as romance, and bend to the every will of their drunk fathers or unappreciative partners.
The author wrote this book like it was his incel manifesto & the dislike of women and how he expects them to be is clearly written in the 259 pages of complete garbage.
Again I’m really hoping this guy is publishing the books he’s written as a social experiment.
I’ll end this review from a quote in the authors bio that fits his pretentious writing style.
“He lives and loves in Los Angeles“

Oh boy, where do I start?
I think it's fair to say that at first this book and I had a good run. The prologue kept me interested enough to keep reading - it was a very good start for the book. I have a weakness for old lady sipping tea in company of a young valet (I might or might not be weird in that matter) and I foolishly expected the lady to become some kind of sleuth and start an investigation. I did not get that.
Nontheless, the idea was still good, I was willing to give the book a go.
And the book got... weird. Not because of the plot. Like I said, I love the idea of Adam not being able to die and coming back over and over again - but can we talk for a moment about the way he writes romance? Does this book even NEED romantic plot, I ask you? Isn't the not-being-able-to-die enough? And must it be done in such a disgusting way?! Must it harbour the disgusting stereotype of "If a boy harms you, he must like you"? He does so by placing a dead bird into her food(?), so he's at least not physically harming her, but still... Gross?
Also, is it possible that the author had never had a conversation with a female his whole life? This must've been one of the worst books I read and I've read a fair share of books.
The plot let me down after a while, the writing became juvenile and predictable and the stereotypes annoyed me. I gave this book the chop eventually, because I refuse to spent my time on something so downright discriminating against women.
The author would do well in studying other people's work on how to write proper female characters. I hope his main character does not actually reflect his view on females.

I received a free ARC by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I couldn’t get into this book at all. I thought it would be entertaining. The plot synopsis is very interesting and I wanted to learn more but the writing style was really annoying. It felt like wattpad fan fiction. I’m sure other people would love this story but it just wasn’t my thing. Thanks to NetGalley for the opportunity to do an honest review of this book.

Strange book, but not in a bad way. It was definitely unique and a different read.
I liked it, but it’s probably not my cup of tea.
I don’t a have a specific target to recommend it to.

DNF, writing style was not for me. Likely interesting for other readers, but I preferred something with a bit more pace.

Entrancing and a bit confusing. It was a great evening novel and I would recommend! The writing style is what confused me. I haven’t had the pleasure of reading anything else from this author but this book makes me wants to search for more!

honestly, i don't care enough to make this into a full fledge paragraphs, so we are going to go with bullet points.
- there is enough plot holes to sink the titanic again.
- the writing is straight out of one of those wattpad fan fics about one direction kidnapped me.
- wattpad like words aka "porn star looking woman" and "inconceivable goddess."
- the main character, adam, who is ten years old ???? talks and acts like a god damn 3 year old.
- stupid transitions between first and third person POV, just make up your god damn mind.
- this really weird and gross romance when they were like ten years old and shit.
- the writing honestly sucked
- SO MUCH SEXISM AND MISOGYNY. every single female character in this book is just used for pleasure for the men and is only looked at to be hot and sexy.
- main character syndrome for the whole book.
- "she bent over, removed her thong, and began pressing her bare ass and pussy against my mouth and "she took my head in her arms and put it between my two boobs." wtf
- very fucking racist
- bro you have like 50 wives keep it in your pants
disgusting plot about a sex worker, maybe subplot, either way it was gross af
- the talking parts was like "i said this to him, but he responded with saying not to worry about it all."

This was a unique and interesting book. It is part fantasy, part romance. Adam can never die, and then he met a girl. Suicide is mentioned , so if that bothers the reader, then this book is not for you. I loved the premise of the plot, but it is a little strange.
Many thanks to Moses Yuriyvich Mikheyev and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.

I thought both the cover and the title were cool. The ideas are definitely there, but the execution was very poor. This is the first book I have read with numerous grammatical errors. The writing style is choppy and the dialogue is stilted and unnatural. I couldn’t get through this book which sucks because it has all the elements I usually enjoy. The circumstances of his mother felt real but everything else after that felt fake. Moving from one bad home to another didn’t feel authentic and was a tactic to further alienate him and further the plot, but it came across as forced. From the overly saccharine moments with his mother to his harsh new life nothing was believable.

I’m not really sure where to start but I know I didn’t like it. The dialogue was immature, even for a 10 year old child. The “romance” came off as, what some would say as “toxic masculinity” - like when the little girl gets hurt and Adam, after being really mean to her, now loves her?? And her own father, knowing what Adam has done to her, forgives Adam. No thank you. You don’t reward/ forgive bad behavior.
