A well written review of a great rock band. It was an enjoyable experience as a fan. Illustrations to go along with stories heightened the entertainment.

This book is perfect for for new and old fans the band. The history of the band is presented chronologically with reviews of each album and lots of photographs. There is not a lot of new information, most of the interviews and stories have appeared in other publications. I did enjoy the updated reviews of the albums. The photographs are wonderful. Enjoy this fun musical trip

Fun and informative. It reads like a scrapbook from a crazed Aerosmith fanatic. Richard Bienstock research provides for a great dive into one of the greatest rock bands still out there today.

A great book on Aerosmith full of information and colour photography of this American band. It provides a biography on each band member.

The book is then divided into each album they have produced with a different contributor writing each one or about a tour they undertook. Along with pictures of the band members, there are also tickets, badges and all sorts of memorabilia included within these pages.

I received this book from Netgalley in return for a honest review.

Aerosmith, 50th Anniversary Updated Edition is the Ultimate Illustrated History of the "Bad Boys from Boston".  Aerosmith is one of the only bands left on my concert bucket list (though I did get to see Steven Tyler with Paul McCartney on a trip to Vegas! It was just as amazing as you'd think!) so when I saw this book come up for review I knew I had to check it out.  Plus, illustrated is always fun as I am a wannabe concert photographer. (Or just photographer in general, I guess. Since I was about 5 years old!)  In addition to telling the story of the band, there are also memorabilia and artifacts splashed throughout the pages - handwritten biographies from the 70s, album covers, ticket stubs, comic book pages, etc.  Coming in at nearly 300 pages it is pretty comprehensive, lots of great information in there and tons of wonderful photos!  If you're a fan or just interested in learning more, do not hesitate to check out this book. And if 2020 taught me anything - it will be to make sure I can do everything in my power to see these guys once it is safe to do so!

I received a free e-copy of this book in order to write this review. I was not otherwise compensated.

I have been an Aerosmith fan since the 1970s and was delighted with this book. I had never read a book about them, just articles in magazine and online, so this was really good for me. The photographs were really nice and the writing was great. If you are a fan, new or old, this is a book for you! It was easy to read and a lot of fun. For me, it brought back a lot of good memories of the times and their music.

Thanks to Netgalley, the author and the publisher for the arc of this book in return for my review. Receiving the book in this manner had no bearing on this review.
