An interesting mix of poems, covering a wide range of themes. The language is beautiful and I would like to read more by this poet. Could be used for GCSE and older students.

This was wonderful! I enjoyed the work of art.Amazinggg! I would recommend for anyone!!! The poems in this book was very well written. The way words were phrased were also very beautiful to read.

Due to a personal style preference, I felt very disconnected from the poetry of Caryn Mirriam-Goldberg. However, I commend her for her long career as well as her variety of subject matter. Many writers come back to the same well too many times, but I found that was not the case here. Mirriam-Goldberg clearly has an audience, and while I was not that audience, I encourage others to test the waters!

How Time Moves: New and Selected Poems brings together over thirty years of Caryn Mirriam-Goldberg's writing. Her poems are heartfelt, honest and her writing is beautiful. Take your time to read this collection.

Honestly, I didn't find the reading as interesting as I had hoped. At times it seemed boring to me and I felt lost, out of context.

Not what I was expecting. Wasn’t a photography book as such. More poetry with lots of photos of a piano rotting over time, through the seasons. I read some of the poetry but it wasn’t really my thing. I think it may have been put in the wrong category on netgalley

First of all, loved the name! The intro was lovely and the photos are phenomenal as well. All the poems were heartfelt and some of them really resonated with me. But to be honest, only some of them… This is also the first piece of fiction I had read about the ongoing pandemic so that was an experience. My favourite part might have been the usage of quotes.
Overall, I was not fully satisfied but I enjoyed it :)

I haven't read poetry for many years, but I did enjoy reading it as a teenager, so it was interesting to go back and read poetry as an adult. This anthology by a well respected poet seemed a good place to start.

And I wasn't wrong. A selection of sad, happy, dark, funny, inventive poems, some telling a story, others just offering lyrical verse, was a good starting point.

It's not a book to read straight through, it's a book to take your time with and savour, giving you time to ponder on the subject matter, coming back to again and again.

I will be reading more poetry, from this author and others, after this re-introduction. Thanks to Caryn and the publishers for bringing poetry back into my life again!

Thank you to Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book. I found it very interesting and I'm not an avid poetry reader..

Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review this book. I really enjoyrd it but I dont typically like longer poems. I feel shorter poems pack a punch and leave a longer imprint. With this one I found that to be true also.
