It’s a catalogue! Good to see what’s coming but up to the individual really. And of course it depends on the publisher and I hat an individual wants to see as forthcoming. Much like movie trailers. Alright for what it is.

This was a useful guide to organising what I read. Additionally, I got to see new releases which is a great way to keep up to date.

This is a brilliant and very useful catalogue for organising what your going to read next. Find out which books will be on trend next . Which books will be the next big hit. This great catalogue can be easily found on the publishers website and downloaded for free. It contains full colour covers if available, a short synopsis, very useful book information; type, page count, price etc.
What I loved best is the section about the authors and the cities they live in. Which is very useful if like me you love reading local authors.
I will definitely be watching out for and using each and every catalogue to help plan out my future reads. Plus you can read them as soon as they are published and tell people you read them before they being to trend.

Who doesn't need a selection of reviews to look into books coming out. The amount of times a blurb doesn't ring true for me and leaves me with a DNF - maybe more publishers should pop some of these out! :D

I was intrigued by this ‘read now’; what is a spring catalogue and as it’s already some 6 months since spring, does it remain interesting or relevant?

I guess if your main passion ( inanimate) is books and reading, detailed reviews of titles is going to tickle that little sweet spot. To my surprise and delight, I’m finding this catalogue an invaluable resource. My first delight was discovering a new Roberto Bolaño collection of three novellas. I’ve already ordered it and this book alone is, for me, worth looking through the catalogue. I’ve read a few and I’m noting other authors and titles of interest. It’s like browsing an extended edition of a broadsheet review of books….maybe not for everyone, but for me, a total pleasure.

This was a really useful guide to upcoming releases and it has allowed to me find out about novels that I can potentially use in both Literature and Language schemes of work, as well as books for the school library to buy in.
