This book sounded like a perfect fit for me. Unfortunately, I just couldn't get into it. The writing just didn't do it for me.

True idea of a romcom when reading this. Characters are relatable, story is super cute, and I love the way the characters are with each other throughout the story.

Sophie’s books do tend to be a page turner and keep you reading page after page after page. This was an upbeat story and perfect for reading next to the beach, pool, or on your porch in the breeze!

It wasn't bad but wasn't amazing - let's just say that. I felt the dates were very repetitive and nothing ever really drew me into the story. I also struggled to connect with the MC and didn't really find myself rooting for her. Did love her friend Dani though!

The main character here was completely relatable and I loved her journey, I will definitely look out for more from this author

THANK YOU, NEXT
By Sophie Ranald

Zoe is facing one dating disaster after another so when one day, a friend recommends a new dating app with an algorithm based on astrology she desperately agrees and decides to work her way through the zodiac.

Zoe, the main character, is relatable and I immediately wanted her to find her soulmate. She’s an Aquarius and learning more about her sign was a nice added element.

This book feels like a long overdue conversation between good friends. It’s wispy and fun and it doesn’t take itself too seriously.

There were some parts that got a little dodgy but overall I appreciated the message and enjoyed my reading experience. Although I wouldn’t recommend this book to everyone I think it would be perfect for the right reader at the right time.

THANK YOU, NEXT …⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thanks to Netgalley and Bookouture for the advanced copy!

The plot and writing of Thank You, Next is great and was easy to love. While I enjoyed the plot, I found the characters to get annoying after a while. But the dialogue was funny and made me enjoy the characters more.

If I had read this book back when I first started reading romance books, I think I would have absolutely loved this but now that romance is the main genre which I read, this one just did not excite me. I don't think this is a bad book at all, I just did not vibe with it and I definitely think it was because I read so much romance now that this book was nothing revolutionary for me and I was just bored throughout.

I received this book complimentary from NetGalley and all opinions are my own.

I just couldn’t get into it. I didn’t relate to Zoe and thought she was whiny honestly. I liked the setting well enough and the plot was interesting in theory but I just didn’t love it.

Thank You, Next is a hilarious, laugh-out-loud, thoroughly entertaining story from the first page to the last. I enjoyed the book so much that I read until my iPad died after 3am and finished the next morning after getting a few hours of sleep. I enjoyed every word of this book. Hated to have it end. Looking forward to more books by Sophie Ranald. Happy reading everyone

I love this author’s writing style! As soon as I finished another book by her, I ran to my phone to see what other books she had written and I was so excited to find this on netgalley. Sophie has such a fresh - and funny - way of telling a story, all while having heart behind the characters.

Thank You Next features Zoe, a down on her luck young woman who decides to start dating based on men's zodiac signs. The main character and her friends are hilarious. The commentary and conversations between Zoe and her friend Dani really won the book for me. Hearing about Zoe’s dates through her commentary was fun and the characters were all well developed.

- didn’t really enjoy the characters
- nothing really happened until the last maybe 30% it felt like
- the synopsis already says what happens on the dates
- left a decent amount unanswered or unexplained
- some twists that i didn’t see coming which was nice

This book hasn't grabbed my attention, so have Decided to stop reading it for now, I may come back to it at a later stage.

I really loved the premise of this book and I was looking forward to reading it, but unfortunately it fell flat for me.

It seemed like it would be a fun read and I was looking forward to reading a UK based rom-com. Parts of it were quite funny, but I found Zoe to be annoying and a bit of a doormat so I just didn't care whether she had successful dates. I also thought that the dates seemed repetitive- the synopsis basically summarised the dates completely as well. For me, I thought that there was too much focus on Zoe's time with Jude (how was she surprised??!) and so I wasn't as invested in the other love interest even if I saw them coming.

I really liked the side characters Robbie and Dani but to be honest I'd have preferred to read about their lives.

I'm sorry to not be more positive on this occasion because it isn't a bad book, but it was just boring and I didn't really enjoy it.

I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher through netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This book is well written and the characters are described well. I absolutely adored Robbies character. This book has LGBTQ representation. It is set in London, England and mentioned France. I enjoyed this book. I can't wait to read more books by this author in the near future. This ebook is in stores for $1.99 (GBP).

Thankyou, next was a great twist on the romantic novel, throwing in technology of modern day dating and the struggles to find the perfect soulmate. I loved the various personalities she met with and enjoyed the concept of online dating. Zoe herself was full of charm, and I enjoyed the multiple attempts and ridiculous dates. It did feel a bit repetitive over the first few chapters but by the end I was hooked. Enjoyed this book very much.
