Excellent collection of primary source documents, with illustrations and discussion questions, so a teacher's work is 75% done. This revised edition includes more sources about women's rights, slavery, and the immigrant experience.
Thank you to the publishers and NetGalley for the opportunity to review a temporary digital ARC in exchange for an unbiased review.
I chose this as a source for my learners in American history, and I will use it as a reference point. This is a well written and well researched book easy to read and well indexed for fast fact finding. A great tool for academia and the interested lay person. Much thanks to the publishers and Netgalley for an ARC of this publication.
An amazing, all encompassing anthology of all American writing. It would be a welcome addition to anyone's library of historical knowledge.
I can't read or review this because it is only being offered through the Netgalley Shelf app and I use Adobe Digital Editions for epubs and pdfs and Kindle Fire for mobi. I didn't see anything letting me know the reading options were so severely limited. Nothing will be posted on any of my social media accounts since I have nothing of value to share. I am disappointed.
