I chose this as a source for my learners in American history, and I will use it as a reference point. This is a well written and well researched book easy to read and well indexed for fast fact finding. A great tool for academia and the interested lay person. An amazing, all encompassing anthology of all American writing. It would be a welcome addition to anyone's library of historical knowledge.

I can't read or review this because it is only being offered through the Netgalley Shelf app and I use Adobe Digital Editions for epubs and pdfs and Kindle Fire for mobi. I didn't see anything letting me know the reading options were so severely limited. Nothing will be posted on any of my social media accounts since I have nothing of value to share. I am disappointed.
