I absolutely adored Sophie’s first series, Coffee Girl, and was so sad to say goodbye to those characters. But - Sophie manages to yet again make me fall in love and crack up at a whole new group of fictional friends!!

Lindsey Love Loves has all the things I want in my romcoms:
✔️Humor
✔️Food
✔️Travel
✔️Steam
✔️Hot book BF
And even some suspense!!

Enemies to lovers is my jam because that hate always turns into passionate love - Lindsey and Nick had that hate to love banter all figured out!! What I think Sophie is a real magician at is supporting characters! Patrick, grouchy Mrs. Bixby, and all the sisters were hilarious and I can’t wait for more of them in the rest of the series!!

Thank you Sophie for sending me your book in exchange for my review

Lindsay Love Loves by Sophie Sinclair a tasty treat of a five-star read. This is number one in the LLL series and well what can I say but bring them all on!!! I adored the Coffee Girl series, and I will be honest I wondered if the great writing and sublime characters would keep coming in this new series, and I am so happy that they have, this time it was just as sublime with an added extra layer to the story that added just a little something darker and more delicious like the most bitter, yet mouth-watering dark chocolate. That came in the form of retired ex seal Nick Elliot, who has the most amazing family, but I digress. Watching Lindsay as she falls in Love with Europe amongst other things was heart warming and funny, and at times heart wrenching in the best ways. This has been a great start to the series, and I can’t wait for more. As I sit here and write I realise I would even want to hear more about Mrs Bixby and that surprised me so much, but it just shows me how great the writing is!!

Sinclair delivers another fun, romantic story with a suspenseful twist! Really liked the plot and the characters on this one.

A fun rom-com with a mystery, villains, spies and some Jame Bond style action!

Lindsey, a food critic, gets to travel around Europe with a grumpy producer, Nick for her new show. The tension between starts right away and their banter will make the readers laugh hard. They are absolutely adorable and fans of enemies to lovers and forced proximity tropes will absolutely enjoy this one. I read it in one sitting and enjoyed every bit of it. Both Nick and Lindsey are so likable that I wished there was more of them. Their travel to various restaurants made me wish I was a food critic, the way each dish is described is so good! For steam lovers, you will also like this one!

Their family and friends were so good too with Patrick being such a good goofy friend and Nick’ family was absolutely hilarious. I definitely like books that make you grin like a fool when you read them.

What a funny and good story that had a little bit of everything. Lindsey Love a food critic is going to get her own show with the hopes of making it big. Along with her own camera guy and best friend Patrick they are going to be going to Europe. With them will be a former Navy Seal turned producer Nick Elliot. He and Lindsey first met at his family’s cabin in New York and let’s just say those few days are just a slight glimpse into what is in store for the trip to Europe.
Once she and the others arrive in Europe they stop in England. The first night with her getting drunk and showing her unicorn underwear is just the opening act for the next night she ends up at a restaurant that serves exotic food and she is finding it difficult to take a bite. The banter back and forth between the characters is what keeps this story moving along. You also have the frustration of Lindsay with Nick with him just being him. Like when meeting for dinner and he shows up with a blond and she grabs the man who was talking to her at the bar. Of course, that guy should not have been talking to her and it goes down all wrong. Just one of the many funny moments. All of the different characters from Mrs. Bixby to the sisters of Nick and Lindsey all add to this story and keep it flowing. The mystery part is just an added bonus. The epilog is good as well. This is a very good story.

Lindsey Love Loves, is the rom-com that I didn’t know I needed. LLL delivers romance, steam, friendships, food, laughs and unexpected suspense.

I loved how Lindsey was authentically herself. She’s quirky and she stands by her principles. Nick is a swoon-worthy grump with a complicated past. The two of them together have some major chemistry!

If you love a sassy heroine, a grumpy hero, delicious banter and a little bit of suspense and a whole lot of romance, this is the book for you!

@sophiesinclairauthor does it again!!⁣

Lindsey Love Loves was an amazing enemies to lovers story about quirky and hilarious Lindsey Love who is filming a tv series traveling Europe tasting foods in lower key restaurants, while producer Nick Elliott, who is also an ex Navy SEAL, follows her for production and as her body guard. ⁣

These two get under each other’s skin through and through. Lindsey is wildly funny and sassy, while Nick is moody and broody; but their chemistry is off the charts. ⁣

Not only do we get to travel the world, listen to funny banter, learn about endangered animals in Africa, and meet Nick’s crazy sisters and Lindsey’s curmudgeon neighbor; this story is full of action and drama, which was not what I was expecting but I loved so much! It was a fast page turner, that had me laughing, wanting to cry, on the edge of my seat, and my heart swooning by the end. ⁣

It took me a while to get into this book but once I did, I enjoyed it.

The thing that bugged me though, was that Lindsey made suuuuch a big deal about snails/scorpions/frogs legs but was happy to eat meat as part of her diet. It just seemed strange to me that she had these "vegetarian* views but continued eating meat while whining to others about food served in certain places.

Other than that, I like Nick and Lindsey and I enjoyed this book. Will read this author again.

This book starts off with a bang, in a way that I really didn't expect for the romcom genre. Then we scoot back in time eight weeks to see how we get there. The opening made me so curious. I found that the book flew by. I was about halfway through without even noticing time passing.

Usually, I focus on the female protagonist in reading and reviewing, but we need to talk about Nick. Wow! He is a former Navy SEAL turned reality TV producer, and he is hot. He comes across as supremely competent.

And Lindsey Love is sassy and funny. She is a food critic, who got started with a channel about what Lindsey Love Loves. She embarrasses herself (or Nick embarrasses her), and she takes it in stride.

The travel in this book was especially fun to read. I enjoyed picturing all the places and dreaming of my next trip. I won't say more about it because I am strongly anti-spoiler in my reviews.

Lindsey Love Loves is fun with a mix of romance, suspense, travel, and a pitch to protect endangered species.

This was my first Sophie book and didn't read the bio about the romance suspense part of this book. I enjoyed the banter and back and forth with Lindsey and Nick. Also, enjoyed the mystery and their travel around Europe for it all. Another cute enemies to lovers story.

I wasn't a huge fan of the big gaps in time as I felt like the story lost its flow at the end. But overall it was a cute, fast, slow burn, HEA story. Loved his sisters and wish there was more of that level of loL.

Overall, 3.5 and 3.5 steam

Lindsey Love Loves is an enemies-to-lovers rom com with a whole lot of laughs, some steam and a little unexpected suspense. Lindsey is a food blogger, who is traveling through Europe to film a show for Food and Travel with her best friend Patrick and grouchy (but hot) ex-Navy SEAL turned TV producer, Nick.

Sophie writes some of my favorite rom coms and LLL was just what I was looking for.

Highlights:
* Tension: The chemistry and tension between Nick and Lindsey was spot on from the beginning and Lindsey’s inner monologue when she was around him was so damn funny!
* Friendship: Sophie writes friendships like no other and I really enjoyed Lindsey and Patrick: so much love and support between them and, of course, plenty of jokes!
* Supporting characters: Nick’s sisters were amazing and hysterical; the scenes with them were some of the funniest. I’m all for meddling family members. Plus Lindsey’s old lady neighbor?! Priceless.

A little suspense, a lot rom com. If that’s what you are looking for, this book is for you! Lindsey is funny and quirky and Nick is funny and a bit of a jerk (mostly because he’s trying to keep up his defenses). This book was funny and warm and the characters all likable. I love knowing there will be more books! Go get this one to read as soon as you can.

Sophie Sinclair has done it again! I was hesitant to start the LLL series after absolutely loving the Coffee Girl series, but I’m so glad I did! Thank you Sophie for an early copy of this!

Lindsey was such a lovable character & her personality was always so happy, even when grumpy Nick Elliot pushed all her buttons. Believe me when I say, if he found a button to push, he pushed it 😂

The banter between Nick and Lindsey had me cracking up throughout the whole book. They were constantly jabbing each other, allowing for some strong sexual frustration.

And that plot twist 😳 I definitely didn’t see that coming.

While Lindsey Love Loves is a little different from the beloved Coffee Girl series, you won’t want to pass this up. Sophie’s signature lovable writing is present, and I can promise you’ll fall in love with Lindsey, Nick & the secondary characters.
