Susan Halter always writes a good, clean, fun contemporary romance that is guaranteed to leave you happy and entertained, and produce a lot of smiles along the way. This box set contains 3 standalone romances that really hit their marks.

THE WEDDING CHARM finds our female lead, Sarah, working with her nemesis, Ben. She's the maid of honor and he's the best man. They have to team up to retrieve the bride's family's good luck charm for the wedding day. They have to pretend that they're the happy couple and prove that they're worthy of the "wedding charm" within the next two days - no pressure! The things they have to do just kept me entertained

In THE WEDDING CATCH, Jason just worked steadily to break down the walls that Avery has put up to protect herself. He was patient, but persistent. It was such a sweet story.

MY WEDDING DATE finds Erica hoping to show up her ex by bringing Josh, the new guy in her yoga class. To say that her plans go awry is a bit of an understatement, but things work out for Erica in the end. She and Josh had great chemistry and they were just made for each other. Josh is another swoony sweetheart.

Three great books in one box set. Just perfect.

These books were light hearted, fun, and so enjoyable to read!.
Although the books are labelled as a series, they can certainly be read as standalone novels too.
I loved the characters and their individual, unique personalities, and truly enjoyed seeing how they all interacted with one another throughout the book.
All of these books were well written and had a storyline that kept me interested to the end.

What luck! To have 3 books to read in a row and not have to wait for the next in the series. Plus they are fast cute stories. Big fan of Susan Hatler, so can’t say anything but if you like one story you will like all..

Novel: The Wedding Charm
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Romance: ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Writing: ✏️✏️✏️✏️✏️

This is not a normal Susan Hatler novel. By that I mean, it is even more amazing than the rest. It’s such a different romance story. The characters are well built and easy to imagine. They both have their flaws and their problems making them seem more realistic. They have such silly antics at times. I loved all the different tasks that they have to do. This could easily be a great movie.

The story follows Sarah. She’s really happy for her friend’s wedding besides the fact that her childhood nemesis, Ben, will be there. Ben destroyed her senior year science project that could have helped her gotten a scholarship to college. Instead, she helped pay her uncle’s treatment cost and wasn’t able to go to law school with so many loans. Ben’s always tried to one-up her and compete with her for everything. Sarah’s always had a crush on him but knowing that he will never see her that way, she just lets it be that. Now at her friend’s wedding, it turns out that the wedding charm isn’t there. Sarah and Ben both volunteer to retrieve it. Once they reach, they realize this is no easy task as they have to do three different errands to get this charm.

Novel: Wedding Catch
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Romance: ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Writing: ✏️✏️✏️✏️✏️

The story follows Avery. Avery doesn’t believe in love. She’s been told that she’s guarded her heart and is absolutely insane. Avery’s mother has gone through multiple divorces proving that love doesn’t last in her world. The worst divorce was when she was only nine years old. They even lived out of their car for some time because they didn’t have a home. Her friend’s, Melina’s, the wedding is coming up. Jason, Melinda’s cousin, is in town for it. When Avery and Jason first meet, she flat down refuses his proposal to go on a date. She has too much going on in her life. She’s living at her office since she’s been pretty much evicted and the charity she volunteers her time to might have to close. Jason does get her to change her mind though and she sees that life can sometimes be about what she wants.

The characters were all very well built. They were easy to imagine and grew throughout the story. While they may have flaws, they learn that no person is perfect and makes mistake. I enjoyed reading this story. It was captivating and intriguing. I love how Susan ties all the stories together and uses the same setting for each novel. I’m starting to recognize characters and learning how they find true love.

Novel: The Wedding Date
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Romance: ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Writing: ✏️✏️✏️✏️✏️

This story follows Erica. She’s a yoga instructor. Erica’s developed a crush on one of the newcomers, Josh. Erica’s ex’s mother comes to her gym and tells her about her ex’s new fiancee. Own of Erica’s friend’s marriages is coming up and her ex and his fiancee are going to be there. Erica says that she has a date for the wedding and Josh’s name slips out of her mouth. Josh overhears and comes over, continuing the charade. Erica and Josh make a deal, a wedding date and winning back Josh’s ex.

The story was one of Susan’s best. It was exciting! The transitions were made amazingly. The story was intriguing and captivating. The characters were a lot of fun and were easy to imagine. I loved the emotion, feeling and love. I felt like I was actually in the story.

I can always count on Susan Hatler for a fun, clean, contemporary romance with a happy ending. This is a set of the first three books in the Wedding Whisperer series. The female main characters are friends and each book focuses on a different woman, but the others make cameo appearances. I had already read one of them and thoroughly enjoyed the other two. I laughed, shook my head at some of the situations they got themselves into, sighed at the swoony kissing scenes, and maybe acquired another book boyfriend--I'm looking at you Jason Morgan.

THE WEDDING CHARM, Book 1--Maid of Honor Sarah Carlton has to work with long-time nemesis, Best Man Ben Atkins to help save her best friend's wedding by retrieving the "wedding charm". It's a piece of jewelry every bride in their family has worn on their wedding day for generations, and it's her "something old".

This would make a fun romantic comedy movie. Watching Sarah and Ben pretend to be Jill and Ryan, all the while jumping through hoops set up by Jill's aunt to prove they're worthy enough to take possession of the "wedding charm". Oh, and they have less than 2 days to accomplish it. The things they go through to secure that piece of jewelry--the Atlanta Braves, a Dega painting (which almost gets them arrested), a southern tea complete with hoop skirts, a pedal boat, and a rescued dog.

THE WEDDING CATCH, Book 2--Avery Summers would rather help out at the homeless charity than find a guy to date. Then one day her boss' cousin, Jason Morgan, walks into the bakery and the walls around Avery's heart start to come down.

This was my favorite of the three stories. I LOVED Jason! I loved how he slowly broke down Avery's barriers. Barriers that I don't think she realized she'd erected to get through the rough times she'd experienced in life. Although Avery and Jason don't seem to have much in common, they get along very well. I loved that Jason was persistent with Avery, how he was kind and patient with her. I found him so swoony. This was such a sweet love story.

MY WEDDING DATE, Book 3--Who wants to go stag to a friend's wedding where you're sure to see your stupid ex-boyfriend? No one. That's why Erica planned to ask the new hot guy in her yoga class to go with her. Plus hot yoga guy Josh is just the type to show off to your ex, his new fiancee and his snooty mother. You know what they say about best laid plans? Well, Erica's was more like a flying-by-the-seat-of-her-pants plan so you can guess how that went.

This was a super fun story of two people who had great chemistry and were perfect for each other but needed to wake up. One of them more than the other. I loved Josh, I mean what's not to love? The man was gorgeous, had a great job, and liked to play bingo with his grandma, AND your grandma!! And he adopted a dog from a shelter! I'm a cat person but I still found that adorable. I won't give the ending away, but if it doesn't make your heart melt and your knees weak I don't know what would. I thought it was so swoony.

The Wedding Whisperer Boxed Set are made up of three stories. They have some of the same characters in each of the books. You will enjoy how each of the characters meet and their story. These books can be read as a stand alone buy you will want to read them all. I enjoyed the books. There is obviously romance, ex’s and humor. The books were a fun read. Thank you to NetGalley and Hatco Publishing for the E-ARC. This is my own opinion.

The Wedding Whisperer Boxed Set contains three fun, crazy and sometimes downright hilarious tales of wedding drama and the ups and downs of planning that perfect day. Susan Hatler has a knack for reminiscing with readers about the familiar aspects of the past that shaped the person you are now (and some you’d rather forget) and the people who played a part in your good and occasionally, not so fond memories. If you don’t laugh out loud while reading these stories, you’re a lost cause! So, if you want to lighten your load, cry tears from gut-wrenching laughter, and take a trip down memory lane, then this set is definitely for you.

A great friends to lovers story. Kayla and Tony have history, but it is other history they are researching. It was an entertaining story. Add in a cute pup named Fireball and I would recommend this book to any friend.

I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley for my voluntary, honest review.

A great read. All three books are great stories in their own right, linked by several characters, including the wedding whisperer.

Omg I think I may have found a new favorite author. I absolutely loved this collection of love stories. They are all fairly short, so you breeze through them but man did they make me swoon. I loved all the characters, I loved that there was a hint of drama in each story but mostly just a really sweet, clean romance. Each story ties into the other stories but they all could be totally read as a stand-alone. Now I need to devour the rest of Susan Hatler’s series, which I’m thinking will just be as awesome as this series was.

The boxset is made up of three semi-connected stories, that each can definitely be read as standalone books.

My overall rating is a four, while the series started out strong, there were many places in which more could have been done to develop the characters and connect the stories to each other. Below are my individual reviews.

The Wedding Charm- 5 stars
Sarah and Ben, High school nemesis who have secretly harboured crushes for each other, finally get to express their true feelings while helping out their friends retrieve a special something old for her wedding. I absolutely loved that these two were complementary opposites, the shenanigans was pure entertainment and above all, once they realized that they were in love, they wasted no time in stupid misconceptions and miscommunications.
The Wedding Catch-4.5 stars
Avery and Jason, had a love at first sight, a world a part love story. The mystery and adventures in this book were nice as well, but I really don't understand why anything had to be kept secret, it seemed to create some unnecessary drama.
My Wedding Date- 4 stars
Erica and Josh, this one had me scratching my head at times, I didn't feel the romances between the two leads, I am personally no a fan for love triangles/squares. Also, the backdrop was Kaitlin's wedding! And I just thought that should have been a bigger deal (Hers was my favourite story, so I might be slightly biased).

I thank Netgalley and the Publishers for providing a copy of this book, all opinions are my own.
