A lovely and Christmas book to escape with, wasn't too keen on some of the characters at first, but in the usual way the author writes, they end up making you feel happy and in this one, Christmassy

I absolutely love Debbies books and this didn’t disappoint. In fact I would say this is probably the best one yet! The only issue I had was the fact that the book title and page appeared in random places on the typeset and was a bit off putting.

A n enjoyable lighthearted romance.

Daisy / Everly is overworked and is forced to take a break by her business partner. Although it is not a holiday she envisaged and she ends up on an Amazonian cruise. This is where she finds Asher , the love interest. Although the path of love doesn’t run smoothly.

Whilst on the cruise she reevaluates her life , and decides she needs to see more of her siblings and parents , and work less hours.
The characters are likeable and the story flows easily and there are some comedy moments to add a bit of humour.

A great quick Christmas read.

Thanks to NetGalley and Little, Brown Book Group for this ARC copy.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jingle All The Way - Debbie Macomber.
I loved this story from the very first page! You could feel the chemistry between the characters from the start and I’m so happy with how the story progressed and ended.
When we first meet Everly (birth name Daisy) she’s a high power professional that carries far too many responsibilities on her shoulders. I enjoyed discovering who she is when she goes back to being Daisy who was raised on a farm with her 4 siblings and seeing how happy it makes her.
Asher is a fantastic male lead. He’s considerate, caring and gorgeous. He really seems to care about Daisy and proves it time and time again when she gets herself in to some hilarious situations.
This is an all around fantastic and funny read with brilliant character arcs and incredible detail.

Sweet and short romance story, ideal for cold wintery days. The most of the book is settled in Amazonian rain forest, but the ending does give the good family Christmas vibes. It is not entirely believable story, but everybody need a bit of hope and love these days, and that is what this book delivers.

Everly is a career-oriented woman who has put her entire personal life on a hold in order to achieve success at her real estate online agency. One day, the incompetency of her assistant gets her booked on an Amazon Explorer cruise during her Christmas holidays. Everly is in shock: how is she supposed to survive two entire weeks on a cruise on the Amazon river? Still, the journey turns out to be the experience of a lifetime, mainly thanks to the encounter with her guide Asher, a man who loves nature and who lives his entire life outdoors, giving lectures about the jungle natural life on the Amazon Explorer. Amongst a lot of bad adventures, Everly gets to think about her life and her regrets, and she realises that her priorities are changing.

I really enjoyed this book, a clean romance with an unusual setting. I was quite put out by the book cover, though, since it really has nothing to do with the novel itself. The book is not that Christmasy, after all, and it’s mainly set on the Amazon River, so this cover doesn’t make any sense. Still, the story was good and it was overall an enjoyable, cosy and heartwarming reading experience. It also made me think a lot about how much the line between work and life has become thin in recent times, and how we all need more time for ourselves and for the people we love.

Lovely, easy read, just in time for Christmas. I mean, who doesn’t like a little romance at this time of year.

Set mostly in the Amazonian rainforest, on board an adventure cruiser, this is a perfect book for those long evening, whilst your Christmas lights twinkly in the background.

Daisy (Everly) is a high, flying, real estate career woman, who has forgotten how to live and love. She ditched her family for her work one year already and her job her completely overtaken her personal life, making it non-existent. She is reluctantly pushed into having the whole of December off and going on a supposedly luxury cruise, booked by her spoilt-brat assistant.

Tings turn out very differently when she comes aboard the Amazonian explorer, but Daisy soon gets into the swing of things, especially thanks to the handsome naturalist Asher.

As you can imagine, their love blossom, but there are obstacles in the way that could mean them parting and never looking back. The rest – you’ll have to read yourself.

Lovely book, perfect romance. Daisy was relatable and likable character.

I am a sucker for a Christmas book, I like nothing more that to snuggle up and comfy, so when I saw this cover I was excited to start reading, but I have to say is very deceiving as the book actually takes place in the Amazon Rainforest and only the last 10% of the book takes place around Christmas, disappointing to say the least.

Everlyn (Daisy) Adams is a hardworking real estate agent who lives in the office. Her business partner Jack makes her take a break as the stress is starting to get to her, thinking he is being helpful he asks his Niece and Everlyn assistant to book her a luxury cruise. Out of spite what she actually books is a tour on the Amazon Rainforest instead. Obviously coming ill prepared for the weather and environment Everlyn decides to make the most of her time away. The book was interesting, filled with lots of nice characters but that is just what it was nice. I didn't really feel a connection from any character nor much chemistry from her love interest Asher. It was only the few chapters of the book I actually enjoyed when she was at home with her family on the farm.

Also I asked for this copy to be sent directly to my Kindle, unfortunately the format didn't work correctly so the title "Jingle All The Way' kept appearing in the middle to the chapters. I got used to it, but it does definitely impact your enjoyment of the book.

A perfect holiday read with some laugh out loud moments, this book introduces us to Ellery (real name Daisy), a busy overworked and stressed co owner of a real estate company. When Ellery wants to fire her inept assistant, the niece of her partner , he insists she takes the month of December off and tasks his niece with booking her on a luxury cruise. Given hours to pack , there follows a hilarious series of setbacks and mishaps , culminating in Ellery finding herself on a tour of the Amazon . Instead of a luxury cruise liner, she finds herself cast adrift with a disparate group of mostly middle aged or retired couples on a ship offering very limited facilities . The natural history guide Asher is the only bright spark on her horizon and there follows a sweet, funny love story which seems doomed to failure as their lives are worlds apart. The trip, planned as an act of revenge by the fired assistant, gives Daisy the chance to reevaluate her life and also to leads to her going home to family she has neglected . I found this an utterly charming and enjoyable read, perfect for brightening a winter's evening .

An enjoyable romance. Taking a vacation from work, Everley is booked onto a cruise down the Amazon River instead of somewhere tropical by a revengeful assistant. Meeting Asher, a host of misadventures ensue. Funny and heartwarming. Not very christmasy until the final part but still a lovely read.

A good story/romance. A good read but the title suggest Christmas, where the story takes you. All through this book is Jingle all the Way with a number attached ascending as you read. However it splits sentences, and words and is so annoying when reading and tends to spoil it

Now when it comes to reading, I love some cheesy Christmas fluff. A lot of the books on my #tbr at the moment are bit heavier/dense, so some light festive romance is just what the doctor ordered. This had everything I'd expect from a light-hearted Christmas read. A stressed out workaholic who's lost touch with who she really is? Check. A holiday of a lifetime? Check. Low expectations of said holiday that are then completely overturned when she meets a handsome man? Check. Snowy, festive scenes full of fairy lights and hot chocolates? Not check...

This was a cute Christmas read that I really . I never expect to get completely invested in the characters in books like this as they tend to be stereotypes and not too much is given over to their background and what makes them tick. But I liked that this book had an alternative setting to those typical of this genre; 90% of the book takes place on a boat sailing down the Amazon river in scorching Brazil, and it had a plot and pace that kept my attention. There were a few tired gender stereotypes (as there always seems to be in books like this) but overall it didn't detract from my enjoyment of the story and this is one I'd recommend for anyone looking for a cute and festive read!

I love this author's books so was excited to read this one. This author morning writes great Christmas books but also other stories all year round. This was a great tea about finding love in the unlikeliest of places and when you least expect to. It was a lovely feel good read of how it is possible to find hope and happiness when it has all but been forgotten. Would love a sequel to further discover how daisy (everly) and Asher life continues to blossom

This book did not feel like a Christmas book at all, as the majority of the story takes place in the Amazon. I found it quite cringey to read and very unrealistic. I love a cheesy Christmas novel but this romance was one step too far for me and not Christmassy enough! The references to farming and faith also weren't my kind of thing and by 25% of the way through, the plot and characters hadn't really developed much. It felt very predictable and like nothing was really happening.

If you like short romance novels and aren't too bothered about character development or plot then maybe this will be your kind of book - but it wasn't for me.

This Debbie Macomber read felt a lot less Christmassy than the title suggests and than many of her other books that I have read as a a lot of it was based in the Amazonian rainforest. That being said, as ever, the author built up likeable characters, it was a fast and easy read and I'll definitely be reading more of her work.

A nice, fluffy enjoyable book that I can imagine as a Hallmark Christmas movie. Some annoying author tics such as repeating "She would always be [whatever her actual name is] to me, but that's the worst thing I can say about it.

A lovely festive tale following Daisy who is forced to take a break from work and embarks on a cruise. However, the cruise from Brazil is not quite what she expected, from many different angles.

Perfect escapism before Christmas and great escapism.

Jingle All the Way by Debbie Macomber was a great feel good book. I loved it. This story takes place on a boat cruise on the Amazon River with Everly, aka Daisy who is a workaholic and Asher the guide on the river cruise. I could not put this book down I loved it.

I am a very new fan of Debbie Macomber’s books and have only read three of them so far. But I haven’t read one I don’t like yet! For now I’m just sticking with her Christmas stories but I’m sure I’ll be reading her non Christmas stories once spring arrives!

This book was absolutely not what I was expecting, but honestly it was better. There’s a cute romance, travel to a foreign country and, of course, Christmas!
If I was being picky, I’d say there wasn’t enough Christmas in this book considering its snowy cover and how it has been marketed. But I enjoyed it too much for it to be a problem so I’m not complaining. However, if you’re looking for something really Christmassy, this isn’t for you. Despite being brief, the actual Christmassy scenes in the book were perfect and definitely had that warm and cosy feel.

This was the perfect short and sweet romance to read in the run up to the Christmas season. I can’t wait to read even more books by this author - and from looking at the list of books she has written, I doubt I will ever run out!
