Whenever I read a Debbie Macomber book it feels like coming home to a big hug in a book, and this was no exception. The story was under my skin within a chapter or two and I knew I would be ignoring the calls of real life to read it in as few sittings as possible.

And given I started it around 6pm, and am writing this review just before 3am - and I did do some work in between, I think suffice to say this was a quick and absorbing read, that hit all the right spots for me.

I don't think I'd particularly looked at the blurb before opting to read this book, drawn in by the Christmas title and the knowledge that I've never read a bad book from this author, thus I was delighted to learn that there was a cruise involved.

I love cruising, but like Everly, I had visions of luxurious cruise ships and ultimate in fabulousness of holiday, but her assistant had other ideas, so the reality is a fortnight on an explorer cruise taking in the Amazon rainforest.

Not exactly what Everly had in mind, but at the same time an eye-opening vacation, full of mishap, adventure, exotic scenery and Asher!

I was hooked on everything to do with the cruise, especially as we are unable to travel in real life at the moment, I'll take any opportunity for some armchair travel, and I've never read a book featuring an Amazon cruise before which makes this rather unique in my eyes.

It has all of Debbie Macomber's normal flair and storytelling ability, fabulous writing and realistic characters, but for the most part with a far more exciting backdrop!

I love, Love, LOVED this book and really am puzzled as to why I have left it so long since my last Debbie Macomber book, given how much I adore the author! I definitely need to read her more regularly, as this is utter comfort reading!

Thank you to Sphere and Netgalley for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

Being English - Debbie mcombers books always make me want to up sticks and
move to America to either open a B&B or find a ranch.
Jingle all the way is no exception. I haven’t read any of her books for a while but what a truly lovely Christmassy book this is.
Everly (Daisy) Lancaster has spent the past few years building up her company Easy home into the thriving business it is today but at what cost to herself ?
Her business partner Jack has been happy to let Everly do all the work herself and it’s turned her into a workaholic that does too many hours and hasn’t had any time off in years. She even worked through the last Christmas and missed her family homecoming with sisters Rose and Lilly. When Jack insists that Everly hires his inept niece as her PA, disaster soon strikes when she forgets Everlys speech at an important conference.
Everly insists she’s fired but jack, keen to keep the peace with his sister and niece insists Everly takes the whole of December off and recharge her batteries on a luxury cruise.
Getting his niece to arrange everything she gets her revenge by booking Everly on a boat trip up the Amazon visiting the rainforests and piranha. Something Everlys not aware of until she arrives totally unprepared.
But maybe this trip is just what Everly needs to help her reconnect with herself, to find out what trully matters and maybe on board amazon guide Asher Adams is just the man to help her.
This book is funny, charming, romantic, family orientated, Christmassy and all you could want from one of Debbies books.
I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish and would highly recommend.

A sudden trip to South America forces Daisy into an unexpected situation, and throws her plans into disarray. Great , fast paced story, with its of interesting episodes and adventures, this was a brilliant quick festive read.

It wouldn’t be Christmas without a Debbie Macomber book hitting the shelves. A bit of a departure this year with most of the book set in Brazil.

Everly is a workaholic and has a problem in the form of her assistant Annette who is her business partners niece and hopeless . she is confident she won’t lose her job as her Uncle Jack will look after her so when Annette messes up yet again Everly demands Jack sacks her but instead he tells Everly to take the whole month of December off with Annette booking her on a cruise in Brazil. Unsurprisingly the cruise isn’t what it seems and is an exploration of the Amazon which Everly isn’t prepared for. But it does give her the time to think about her life and work. And with Asher Adams their lecturer on the ship she gets into all sorts of scrapes and accidents.

A fun read with Piranha fishing thrown in aswell

Thank you NetGalley, Debbie Macomber and Little, Brown Book Group UK for the copy of Jingle All the Way. This is my personal review.

Everly (Daisy) Lancaster is a co-owner of an online Real Estate business. She is working way too many hours a week and her partner in the company tells her it is time for a much-needed vacation. He has Everly’s assistant book her a vacation. She books her a cruise, and it takes a bit but Everly agrees that she will go.
She packs and heads to off for the cruise. Once at her destination she discovers that it was not the cruise she dreamed of going on. It was a tour of the Amazon. Not packed for this type of trip- no internet and no amenities on the boat- she still makes up her mind to make the best of it because it is only two weeks.
She makes friends with others on the boat and Asher- the tour director on the Amazon adventure hopes to change her mind on what she can learn from her vacation.
You will have to read this wonderful book to find out what happens.
Thank you, Debbie Macomber, for another relaxing escape.

This is a Romance. I was approved for this book through Netgalley after it had already came out, and I had pre-ordered the audiobook for this book. I have to say I am so glad I brought the audiobook for this book. I loved the narrator was so good, and I loved it so much. I read the kindle book I got from Netgalley while I was listening to the audiobook. Debbie Macomber is one of my favorite authors, but her Christmas book is hit or miss for me. This one was a win for me. I love Debbie Macomber writing style and how she brings her characters to live. I do not think this was a Christmas story because the Christmas part was only her visiting her family during Christmas right at the end of the book. I do not care that Christmas was missing, but that may bother some people. To me this was a cute short quick romance book, and I could not put it down. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Random House) or author (Debbie Macomber) via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review about how I feel about this book, and I want to send a big Thank you to them for that.

Jingle all the Way - Debbie Macomber

'When a massive snowstorm hits, Everly's mother urges the workaholic to come home for Christmas, but she hesitates to return to the life that she tried so hard to escape. Searching for other holiday plans, Everly tasks her assistant with booking her a cruise - an ideal escape'

I enjoyed the romantic aspect to the book which I think we all expect when choosing a Christmas book, however I must admit it did not feel all that festive to me as it was mainly based in the Amazon. I felt that Daisy and Asher's feelings towards one another seemed to happen very quickly. There were also a lot of silly/funny scenes which put me off a bit. I would still recommend the book as it was a good overall story but maybe not if you are really looking for a Christmas book.

Many thanks to NetGalley and publishers for allowing me the chance to read and review this book!

Debbie Macomber books are always a joy to read with strong characters, humour and romance.

Everly is a workaholic with a useless assistant who is the niece off her business partner. When her assistant is told to book Everley on a luxury cruise she spitefully books her on a trip along the Amazon on a basic boat with no WiFi. - the ultimate nightmare.

Everley makes friends with the other passengers and gets to know Asher who is the lecturer on board. There were many times I laughed at her clumsiness but this was a book I enjoyed reading and would certainly recommend to others

I’d like to thank Little Brown Book Group UK and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read ‘Jingle All The Way’ by Debbie Macomber in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Everly Lancaster has been so involved with starting up a business that she’s avoided going home and spending Christmas with her family. Her business partner suggests she take December off to relax and her assistant is tasked with arranging a luxury cruise for her but it’s only when she boards the ship that she discovers she’s been booked on the ‘Amazon Explorer’ for two weeks. She meets Asher Adams, the ship’s naturalist and lecturer on the Amazon, and when she feels a connection with him she realises what’s been missing from her life.

It’s always a pleasure to read a novel by Debbie Macomber as I know I’m going to get that feel good factor and having just finished ‘Jingle All The Way’ I’m delighted to say I’ve not been disappointed. The story is unashamedly romantic with the added enjoyment of learning a bit about the Amazon, the characters are so likeable that I want to spend time with them and it has such a lovely and warm conclusion that I didn’t want it to end. It’s such as easy novel to read that I completed it in a day and I have no hesitation in recommending it for readers who want a warm and enjoyable romance to read over Christmas.

Everly ends up on an Amazon cruise, after her assistant thinks she is getting one up on her. But the time away gives Everly time to re-evaluate her life and work, and also to meet Asher.

A great read.

Thanks Netgalley and the Publisher. Bit too early for me to be thinking about Xmas but saying that I really enjoyed this book, liked the characters and the storyline, certainly has got me thinking about Xmas.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.

I feel holiday stories brighten your mood.

Meet Everly, who is overworked and stressed out at her job.

Her partner then convinces her to take some time off, and she agrees as his niece has booked her on a luxury cruise.

However, soon, she realises is not what she’s going on as the sneaky niece booked her on a trip through the amazon without the amenities she needs.

At first, Everly is furious, but then becomes friendly with some of the passengers, along with the instructor on the cruise Asher, whose in his element to share the experience of location with the passengers.

He’s drawn to Everly as she’s not easily adapting to her situation and needs extra attention.

Everly too, is attracted to him, but both feel that their but both feel that their circumstances make it impossible to pursue long term.

But it seems Everly, wants to take the chance and admit her feelings to Asher, who feels he is doing her a favor by letter her go.

So, Everly leaves and her heart is broken, and so is Asher's, who has to decide if he has wants to take a leap of faith and be with Everly.

Recommend it.

This was a quirky and light hearted Christmas read.

Daisy (Everly) is a stressed out real estate agent who gets her assistant to make a vacation for her. Enter the Amazon River cruise where she meets Asher.

This is a different take on the Christmas story as the majority of the story takes place on the cruise while the other percentage is after the cruise.

Asher and Daisy have to work through stuff to get to where they want to be throughout this story.

I enjoyed this story and will read more from this author.

I look forward to Debbie Macomber's Christmas books all year long. They are usually a great kick off to my holiday season. While this story took place in December, Christmas was barely mentioned until the second half of this short novel.

The story itself was a typical romance read, really no surprises here. But I did love the main character's strength and optimism, and the family dynamic. It didn't put me in the holiday mood as much as I would have liked, but I enjoyed this sweet romance nonetheless.
