Pleasant look at a young animal who goes on the bus to school each day, but never seems to arrive wearing the cape he boards it with, thanks to a bully. While sticking out like an oddball might get him in trouble, what might happen if the reasons for his behaviour get known? This is attractive, well-meaning, and everything else that might be important – except completely plausible. It might be heart-warming for the child reader, but it did kind of fail to convince me.

With a tenderness for the main character, this book shares the story of a boy who wore a cape to school with a purpose, a bully who wouldn't quit, and someone that started a movement to stand up to the bully for his new friend. A very sweet story about getting to know people and not judging them based on assumptions.
