Just starting to convert to vegetarianism so this was a good starting book for me. Eye catching cover & beautifully illustrated pages with some gorgeous recipes (albeit not grain free as stated) Little nutritional bites of information peppered throughout. All in all a fantastic book to help you begin that journey to a healthier you

I just finished reading this lovely cookbook from Melissa Petitto, and it's very well done. I really enjoyed that there are photos with each of the recipes-helps those of us that are very visual. Some more pluses were the Food Facts scattered throughout with nutrition info, the seasonality of the recipes, and the generous portion sizes (I hate vegan cookbooks that have small portions--don't they understand we need to eat more?).
One thing that concerned me, and I hope it's corrected before publication, is the mislabeling on recipes. Most of the sweet recipes are labelled "grain free", but they contain all purpose flour, cornstarch, and oats, all of which are grains. I wouldn't want someone getting ill due to the labels.
Overall this is a great cookbook, and I'm off to make the Quick Pickles now...

What a great book!

Plant-Based Cookbook is filled with beautiful sounding recipes but what makes this book slightly different is that all the recipes are separated in to the four seasons, I love this idea! It has a good mix of meals & desserts under each season, each recipe is well written and easy to follow. I especially like the fact that the measurements are given in cups and grams.

The layout and design of the book are great, and the photos for each recipe are stunning.
My only issue is going to be deciding which meal to try first.

All in all a great cookbook to have in your collection, whether you’re on a strictly plant-based diet or if you’re a meat eater wanting to try something new.

I would recommend!

Thanks NetGalley and the publisher for providing an eARC in exchange for an honest review.
