A well written second chance romance. Good plot and character dynamics. Love the ranch setting. I received an advance ebook from the publisher and Netgalley. This is my unbiased review.

Fight Forever is the second book in the Peak Valley Forever series and just as amazing as the first book was. This book has it all; charming characters, suspense, humor, second-chance romance, and small-town romance. It was well written, fast-paced with a developed storyline. My attention was caught right away and now I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.

Thank you NetGalley, Victory Editing and Amanda Lee Dixon for gifting me an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review!
After reading a Hallmark-Esc romance I was craving something with a little more grit and edge and Fight Forever fit the bill perfectly! I’m such a sucker for a good second chance romance book. Amber and Luke were childhood sweethearts torn apart for fifteen years when Luke joined the military. Now Amanda is a single mother of two with an ex husband causing problems and no time for old feelings to rise up. But ignoring Luke gets harder when he becomes her landlord and makes it his mission to earn her heart again.
One of my favorite Nicholas Sparks book/movie has always been safe haven and this book felt right up that alley but so unique at the same time! I really liked Amanda as altogether. She was a great mom and her chemistry with Luke felt real. Luke was a great balance to Amanda’s crazy life and he offered a few needed comic reliefs.
There is a little suspense and mystery in this one which also made me think of Safe Haven, but it’s by no means a romantic thriller and even if you aren’t a thriller fan, you’ll still love this one!

I'm a sucker for a good second-chance romance. Throw some danger into the mix and I knew  Fight Forever was going to be my very first read from Amanda Lee Dixon. The opening alone put me back in the mindset of first, young, innocent love...
Flash forward a decade and that is where things pick up. And they aren't quite as happy or hopeful. For both Amber and Luke. I liked Amber's tenacity. How she wasn't going to let the curve balls life kept throwing her way get in the way of her children's happiness. Even if it meant swallowing her pride and taking Luke up on his offer to help out.

The dynamic changed between Luke and Amber pretty fast, even if she was reluctant for it. But it was Luke's relentlessness and the way he cared for her kids that did her in. She couldn't resist what her heart was telling her. And with threats looming and the danger mounting, it was all they could do to try and stay one step ahead.

I'll admit, I found my heart pounding more than once while reading (which I love). But I wanted more of a surprise of who was behind all the mayhem. Amanda Lee Dixon made it pretty clear early on who was pulling the strings. That being said, I did not see this getting as twisted as it did. From start to finish Amber and Luke's intense and emotional second-chance romance had me rooting for them. And I was more than satisfied with how things panned out.

‘Fight forever’ follows Luke and Amber whose failed relationship never quite ended. Despite Amber marrying and having two children, she has never forgotten Luke, nor has he ever gotten over her. When Luke returns to Peak Valley, he sees it as an opportunity to begin again, yet Amber’s past threatens any future then may have.
Not having read Book one, I must admit that there were a few moments when the different characters confused me; however, I really enjoyed this story, with the intensity of Amber and Luke’s relationship, evident from the start. The complexity of their relationship is emotionally laid out, with family members getting involved. Both characters were well explored, and I look to more from Amanda Lee Dixon.
I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

Loved this read so much I didn’t put it down, read it in one sitting! The story is cute, and nice. Then gets a little intense as things sometimes do when ex’s are involved. Overall an amazing read that will keep you interested

This is book 2 in the Peak Valley Forever series. I love This family! The boys had a rough childhood due to their alcoholic abusive father. But they had a great support group and tried hard to rise above their childhood. The boys going back and forth banter is so incredibly entertaining. I have several laugh out loud moments with each book. Luke and Amber are thrown back together after being apart for 15 years. Luke wants her back and will stop at nothing to make her and her children happy. I love Their chemistry and how much Luke loves her. This series is extremely entertaining and sexy. I can’t wait to read the next book!

This is the second book in the Peak Valley Forever series, an enjoyable read with romance, hot sex scenes and a twist for good measure. After being apart for fifteen years, this is a second chance for a happy ever after for Amber Baker and Luke Colson. Luke's keeps you entertained with his antics and determination to win Ambers heart back. Burns the crusty old man who became a second father to Luke and his brothers when their parents died was a character with his wit and sarcasm. I also loved the camaraderie between the four Colson brothers and I'm looking forward to reading more about their lives in the coming two books.

I enjoyed this second book in the Peak Valley Forever series even more than I did the first. Fifteen years ago, Luke Colson had a difficult choice to make and ended up losing the love of his life, Amber Baker. Amber, now divorced, has returned to Peak Valley with her two children, but has no intention of having anything to do with Luke. When her ex begins making her life difficult, she finally accepts Luke’s offer of a home for her and her children. Luke slowly begins to show Amber that he is truly sorry for leaving her and when her life may be in danger, Luke and his brothers are there to protect her. A heartwarming romance with a touch of suspense, lovable interaction between the brothers who survived a rough childhood and two darling children…what more could you ask for? I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)

Book two in the Peak Valley series, we pick up a few months after book one. I love the writing of this family; I could not put it down.

Amber and Luke have a history, we saw glimpses of them in book one, and now we get the whole story. Fifteen years ago, they were in love, due to outside forces Luke leaves. Now Amber is a single mother with two kids and working to get past her struggles. Luke has returned from the military and they are now reunited; he is pushy and she equally stubborn. The way Luke interacts with her kids is endearing. Will they get past the speed bumps and get their second chance?

I enjoyed the threads of the secondary characters as we get to keep up with Dawn and Clint, the shenanigans of Burns, and I cannot wait to learn Eric and Sarah’s story.

Thank you to NetGalley and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for the free copy for my voluntary review.

ARC Review
Amber is a single mom of two. She moves back with her children to her hometown, where is reconnected with her first love, Luke. They haven’t seen each other for 15 years, but they still didn’t forget about each other. And when Luke sees Amber again, he’s determined to win her back.
Amber soon finds herself in tough situation when her ex-husband wants to take her children from her because of her unstable living situation. Then Luke comes to her rescue and offers her to move in into his house, and thanks to it she can show that she and her children have their own home.
Luke helps her a lot, spends a lot of time with her children, Emily and Matt. He also makes moves towards Amber, but she is resistant about them being together again.

This story was amazing, I really loved the plot, sometimes it was really unexpected and shocking. I also loved that the author focused also on showing the sweet and often funny relationship between Luke and his brothers.
And I can’t wait to read the books of his other brothers.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

Luke has returned to Peak valley after a 15 year absence and is desperate to rekindle his relationship with Amber.
Amber is determined to keep away from Luke after he broke her heart. She's a divorcee with 2 children and only wants the best for them.
I thought Amber's character was so likeable she's finally looking out for herself and the kids. Luke's bond with the little people had me seriously swooning and his way of getting to Amber fantastic.
I'm loving this series and can't wait to read more from the brothers.

These Colson Brothers are the Bomb!!

“Will you dance with Luke? He’s my new friend.” Her toothless smile is smeared with icing. “Did you know he’s a giant?” she stage-whispers with wide eyes.

Luke left Peek Valley years ago and broke her heart. Now he’s back and he wants to start over.

“Might as well duke it out here, we’ll just eavesdrop on you both,” Burns says, still holding his camera, ready to capture the drama.

Amber Baker went on with her life after he left. Her kids are her life now. She won’t let herself be hurt again.

Everything just blends together in this beautiful love story. The romance, suspense, character interaction make for the perfect escape read.

ONG I love Burns he is a hoot.

“I ain’t here to help, I’m here to watch my boys paint Emily’s room pink sparkles,” he says, returning the kiss to my cheek before holding up a dated Polaroid camera. “I’m getting it all on camera to use against them when they piss me off.”
