This book opened with an action sequence that captured my interest and didn't let up until the very end. I liked the main character. She didn't shy away from danger and I enjoyed the fact that she was confident and always ready to find the shooter. The locations added an element of risk to the story. Overall, this book got my attention and kept it.

Thankbyou Netgalley for the advance copy. This book has it all. It is amusing how a gunman out to kill keeps missing the target. It has great characters and has twists and turns. Corrie Locke and her boyfriend Michael and her friend Veera set out to find the gunman to keep their friend James safe from harm. Will they solve the mystery in time?

I really enjoyed the characters. It was amusing and fast paced but still had an element of a cozy Mystery. It reminded me of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series. Definitely recommend.

I admit to not being a huge (modestly sized) fan of crime & thriller but these past few weeks I have read this wonderful and 2 others in the same genre and I am now a fan, maybe it’s the quirkiness and the humour in this book that makes its stand out for me but in these days pandemic and political doom and gloom a book that makes laugh is going to be a winner
