Our Little Secret by Lesley Sanderson is another suspenseful and gripping mystery from an author who has become a fast favourite of mine. Full of lies, deceits, truths, and dares, there is nothing little about the many secrets contained within.

Louise is caught by surprise when her college friend Amy reaches out to her with plans to reunite their old college gang as a way to celebrate her 35th birthday. The group of five friends had more or less disbanded following the mysterious death of a sixth member, Hannah, under suspect circumstances. Even more surprising is the fact that Amy plans to have the group return to the very scene of the incident, having inherited a cabin near the woods where Hannah went missing. What follows is a tense and revealing weekend, and Louise begins to question just how well she really knows this group of individuals she has long considered friends.

I am always thrilled to read a new release from Ms Sanderson, and anxiously await the next.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for this ARC.

A perfect read.
Louise receives an invitation to her old friend Amy’s birthday weekend in a cottage in the country, a chill runs down her spine. Of all the places they could go, why there? Why would they want to go anywhere near the scene of the worst thing that ever happened to them?
In their final year of college, their friend Hannah, part of their close-knit gang of six, went missing. Her body was found in the woods near their campus, and her death was ruled a suicide. The remaining five dealt with their grief and guilt at not being able to save her by drifting apart, trying to put the past behind them. So why has Amy brought them back now?
I loved all the main characters of this book.
Its main strength is its narration.
