Rich in imagery and profound in parts, it left me with a lot to think about. It's very engrossing and the journey of the main character to understand his family and heritage really captivated me.

What can you say about this that hasn't already been said. Toni Morrison is an incredible writer - one of my favourite of all time and this is one of her best books

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. It had an amazing storyline and I felt like I was on this journey with the main character.. The ending was a bit strange in that we will never know what happens next and we are left to with our own imagination. This book is definitely worth reading. and I need to read the many other books by Toni Morrison.
