Only picked this up 'ironically' because my mate and I got well tipsy at a festival and attended his show while we were waiting for another artist to perform . Have got to say that I'm surprised that I could finish this as I'm not usually fond of contemporary memoirs. I can't say I'm amused or interested in his life, but it was more 'substantial' than I had imagined it be. A lot of unnecessary swearing, but I supposed that that is to be expected - for aesthetic's/art's sake (because otherwise - pretty much pointless and did nothing for the book). Would have appreciated a bit more editing, but overall - a moderately enjoyable book .

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC. I did not know initially who this author was, but I enjoyed reading this book and liked how it highlighted ways to accept, live and cherish who we are. Great subject matter, impressive writing and a transparent approach to sharing one's life struggles and the journey to move beyond them.

This is a story of spiritual revival wrapped in an amusing, accessible narrative. Time crumbles when the jet black M5 rumbles

Overall I enjoyed this book and the fairly unedited voice of Action Bronson showing through. That being said, it bugged me that the book's postscript basically served as a corrections section for Action trying to flex in the previous chapters. Here Bronson admitted that he hadn't always had "sick confidence." This postscript had me wondering why Action didn't remove his overstatements or at least include these corrections as footnotes.

I was looking for a book to help me with my current struggles. I just turned 40 and felt like a looser for not having the standard "things" to be accepted as a normal person like husband and kids. The book helps me to work on me and accept myself which is the most important. Recommended to all my friends.

I was quite bored and disappointed with this book. I have read many, many books on this subject matter and despite the given subject I managed to be bored by it.

The writing is way too detailed and because of this, it diluted the story and the impact of the story..

I really wanted to like this book, but I did not.

I thought I knew who action Bronson was. I did not. This book shows his colorful life and all he has gone through and is now looking forward to. It is a page turner from beginning to end. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

To be honest I didn't know who author was. Looked him up.. Inspiring book. Great job.

Thanks to author, publisher and Netgalley for the chance to read this book. While I got the book for free, it had no bearing on the rating I gave it.
