I am a firm believer that we need to teach kids how to cope with emotions and this book is a great intron into how to do that. They are simple and the illustrations are well done that it is simple for a child to understand.

This is just too cute! It's a very helpful book with all that is going on in the world. The littles need to learn how to relax at an early age.

A really good idea to have this book in the house, mostly if you have a little kid. This book teaches us to realize our surroundings and stop worrying. There are steps to follow in case the little one got anxious about something, and help them to conquer their fear.

I was granted complimentary access to an eARC of Breathe Deep, Little Sheep by the publisher through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Breathe Deep, Little Sheep is a picturebook for little kids about learning to calm down and break the big scary thing down into smaller, doable steps. Every 4 pages (2 open spreads) shows a different baby animal encountering a situation that causes them anxiety and then being coached through it. The artwork is absolutely adorable and will surely draw kids in.

This is a really short and sweet book that can help kids learn how to self sooth. I think it’s a great one for kids to learn how to be mindful and deal with stress, anxiety or anger at a young age!

This book was adorable! It shows many feelings or situations that little kids experience, and show solutions for them. My five year old liked it so much, after reading it she decided she wanted to make her *own* breathe deep book.

WIth engaging pictures and language any child can understand, Breathe Deep, Little Sheep is definitely a good book to read to little kids experiencing big emotions in ways they can understand.

Cute book for littles about how to calm down when they get angry or anxious. The illustrations go with the story. Kids will be able to understand and complete the actions that the book suggests to calm down and regain composure. Kids will like the pictures and cute animals. This book would be appropriate for kids ages 3-8.

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to review this book for my honest opinion.

This is a sweet book for children about mindfulness and self-regulation. Having taught young school-age children to practice mindfulness, I am always happy for new resources. This book is recommended as a terrific introduction and for practical ideas.

A perfect social-emotional learning book for little ones! Learn how a variety of animal friends deal with their worries: imagining something happy, wiggling their body, sharing feelings, taking deep breaths.... Each struggle and strategy gets a before and after illustration to show kids what to do, and most strategies also show parents and friends helping them feel better, too. It's all presented in a very soothing and natural way.

"Breathe deep, little sheep, there's no need for alarm. Inhale, exhale, then repeat. You're learning to stay calm."

I can absolutely see a parent or teacher referencing this book when their child is struggling with emotions, and maybe acting out the strategies with their child as well!

As the importance of mindfulness is being realized in the broader society, this book becomes particularly important and timely. Pictures are beautifully drawn and the text simply is written so children can be introduced to the concept of being calm and are encouraged to take deep breaths. I think there is more room for other exercises for calmness to be included though.

Sweet book that helps teach kids self-soothing techniques. It's a great resource for parents unsure of how to handle or approach anxiety with their kids and will surely be a great conversation starter.

Illustrations are adorable too, and all the adorable animals should hold shorter attention spans for quite awhile.

This would make for a great gift to new parents. Definitely buying a copy when it's released!

Breathe Deep, Little Sheep by Jessica Lee is such a wonderful and calming little children's book! Anxiety is so common these days in children, and mindfulness is so important to help deal with that. This book is a sweet and gentle way to guide even the smallest children in easy mindfulness practices that they can learn and use in their daily life. The pictures are colorful and lovey as well.
