I’m not sure how I feel about this one still. I liked it while I was reading it but I found it very forgettable. I did really like the characters and the story line.

This book was just sadly not for me! I was hoping for something different but it turned out to be something I was not expecting, which is okay and I'm sure someone else would love it!

This has been on my TBR for several years now, and I can’t seem to make myself finish it. I’m sorry! I’m sure someone will love it, but it just isn’t for me.

I couldn’t wait to read #Blocked: A Social Media Love Story as social media is a huge presence in my daily life. However; I am unable to read this story as I cannot find it through my local library or other media outlets that I use.

I was granted a copy of this book by Netgalley, in exchange for my honest opinion.
This is a book about self image and what we show to the world: what we put out on social media not always it’s a reality. It’s a well made description of actuality and how relationships are nowadays.
We have our main characters Bo and Winter that bow through challenging situations throughout the beginning of their relationship.
This is about how sometimes past experiences leading to judgments can cause fear of showing our true self. And we slowly learn how those experiences in life lead her to act they way she does. 
The book wasn’t very detailed about the issues that happened before this , but could be a better way to show us what lead both Winter and Bo to behave how they did. We see Bo having anger issues. In the rest I felt that the author was good at describing actually from the places to the characters, what they where feeling or wearing.
It was fast passed and had a few steamy moments.

Was expecting a light and somewhat fluffy rom-com going into this one...but it wasn't really that, so didn't enjoy it really. Maybe if I'd known it would be much 'darker' and with more serious characters and issues at the heart of it - and not a light & breezy & fluffy romantic comedy - I might've come to it with a different approach and read it with that idea in mind. But expecting a light read and finding this way darker than expected did not work for me, unfortunately

This was a really enjoyable book with a lovely premise. I thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend.

I had a hard time relating to this story. I do love books about social media and influencers and enjoyed a lot of this story but couldn't quite relate. Overall I think it was well written and a good story but it was missing something intangible for me.

I struggled to connect with the characters in #Blocked: A Social Media Love Story by Savannah Thomas. However I persisted in reading, beginning to enjoy myself and the story. Once I was fully involved…cliffhanger. Not cool and also made no sense for this type of book. If I’d realised this I probably wouldn’t have picked it up as I needed so much energy to continue reading early on.

This checked off everything I look for in a book. Was not disappointed. Really enjoyed this book. I will read more from this author. Must read.

#Blocked follows Winter a social media influencer who meets 'bad boy' Bo at his inauguration event. After her previous traumatic relationship, Winter must navigate learning how to trust someone new. The characters in '#Blocked are relatable as they all have their own issues and past experiences that have helped shaped who they are today, and the take on dating in the digital age is intriguing. The abrupt ending threw me slightly, but I am glad to know that #Blocked will be a two-book series!

DNF at 50%. I really wanted to like this book but I just couldn’t continue reading. I’m glad I read reviews that said this ended in a cliffhanger because then I was validated in my decision to cut bait. The book was already way too long to not have an ending.

My interest peaked when the setting changed to volunteering for an animal shelter, until the author put no-kill shelters on a pedestal and demonized shelters that aren’t no-kill. That rubbed me the wrong way and ruined any hope I may have had for the story redeeming itself.

The pacing was extremely slow at times and the characters were flat and lacking any kind of interesting qualities.

This story would have made a better novella.

With social media being so prominent in most peoples everyday lives, this one instantly drew me in. It was very enjoyable and definitely one that I would recommend!

I absolutely adored the characters in this story. The pacing is perfect. The romance is great. The friendships is spot on. I highly highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone. LOVE this book!
This is such a good romance novel, I laught a lot, I cry a lot and this feels wholesome.

Winter Smith is a popular social media influencer, but her real life is so much more complicated than the perfect life she portrays online. Fired from her job after breaking up with her boyfriend Lyle, she barely leaves her house, suffering from anxiety, panic attacks and ptsd from an abusive relationship. When her friend Mia convinces her to come to the opening of a new bowling alley, she reluctantly agrees. There she meets handsome tattooed Bo Blaine, the owner, and they are instantly attracted to each other. When he asks for her number she tells him to contact her on her social media accounts. But when he tries he's BLOCKED! What happened between the time they met and now? Winter googled his name and found out that Bo Blaine was the bad boy son of a large important family, known for his anger issues and even had time in prison. She just got out of a controlling relationship with her angry abusive ex and Bo's similarity to her ex scares her. But every time they meet in person, he seems totally different that the online reports would have her believe. Can she get over her fear and learn to trust her own judgment?
This book sounded so promising but I felt that the characters just seemed flat and uninteresting. I felt like if Bo thought or said how beautiful she is one more time, I'm done! I'm glad I finished it because I think the end of the book was more interesting than the middle. but overall it was just an ok read for me.

Embarrassment! A cliched “love story” full of banalities and one-dimensional characters, the author lost me at “per say” (really!.. dare I assume it she meant per se). I cannot understand how this book was published! And there is a sequel!

Zero literary value but eye-rolls in abundance (author uses the term "tattooless soldier" to describe parts of male anatomy!) . Avoid if you are older than 16 and do not dream of becoming “an influencer”. Seriously, avoid.

Disclaimer: it might be worth more than 1 star, but I feel the overall rating is absolutely unjustified. So 1 star from me.

I really wanted to like this book. Truly. I wanted to like this book so much and I was so hopeful. It just didn't meet the standards that I was hoping for.
