Master Key Resort by Samantha A Cole

I selected this book by accident as not my style that said a well written novella.

Though this is short it gave depth to the characters and a good storyline but it was annoying in that as part of series spin off it refers to people previously mentioned in those books and having not read them i struggled to work out who some characters were. Mainly because the author assumed you were familiar with. That said if you can overlook this it has the potential to intrigue you
to get the next book but it ends on a cliffhanger which I hate and tends to put me off as opposed to encourage me. Especially if you are new to this genre and sure it nice to give the reader the choice as opposed to forcing into the next book. 3.5/5

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. It's way toooooo short but actually is like an intro into the new series that - I'm sure - will rock your world just as the originally Gang (Trident Security) did. Fabulous. Can't wait for the this series located in the Florida Keys to get started.

Tiffany is finally learning what a healthy D's relationship should look like. And she is beginning to trust her new Dom. But when he gets an offer too good to pass up, will she lose the man she is beginning to love?
Master Key Resort is first in Samantha A. Cole's Master Key series. It is a spin-off of Ms. Cole's Trident series. Although it is not necessary to have read the Trident series, it will give you context for Tiffany and Cordell's beginnings. I enjoyed seeing Tiffany find her bearings. She has lived the worst of BDSM and with Cordell she sees what can be. I enjoyed getting to know Cordell and Tiffany together. We see the improvement in Tiffany as she begins to trust not only herself but Cordell as a man and her Dom.
Ms. Cole is setting up the new world even as she connects it to her old. I loved catching up with Mitch, Ty and Tori even as Ms. Cole focuses on Tiffany, Cordell and Dante. I love the feeling Ms. Cole is weaving for this new play place.
This story is a wonderful bridge. Although I will warn you that it ends with a bit of a cliffhanger. The new and improved relationship between Cordell and Tiffany is in its infancy even though they have been together for quite some time. I cannot wait to see how Ms. Cole will resolve the issues that will arise as they push both their boundaries. This is a wonderful start to a new world and I can't wait to dive in!

I haven't read the Trident Security Series by this author but I loved the Dom/Sub theme and now I will be having to pick up and read that series because I am hooked. I loved Cordell and Tiffany and I was unable to blink while reading because I didn't want to miss anything. It does end on a cliffhanger but I can already tell this is going to be one amazing series.

This was a story that will draw you in an it's characters will captivate you.Cordell Roberts is a Dom and when he meets Tori he knows he wants to make her sub!it to him.Tori has decided that no man is going to control her an tell her what to do.She's tired of having her life controlled But when she meets Cordell something about the man makes her want to give him control at least in the bedroom. She didn't know how much she would enjoy the spankings an being dominated til she met Cordell .Will she let her past go an grab on to the love Cordell is offering? Will she run because she's afraid of losing control of her life? There are so many twists and turns to this story will keep you riveted until the very last page and leave you begging for more.I love the way this amazing author brings the characters to life before your eyes and you can feel their emotions and their pain.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.

This is a great start to a new series! I did not put it down. We briefly met Cordell and Tiffany in Option Number Three by Samantha Cole. Now we get to see more of them as Cordell is asked to take over a new resort in the Florida Keys. But will Tiffany follow? This novella is just the beginning and it ends on sort of a cliffhanger. There is more to come! Bring it! This just scratches the surface and left me wanting more. I kept trying to turn the page at the end.

Cordell is a lieutenant who was shot while on duty which resulted in him getting a hip replacement and going to physical therapy. During his rehab they discovered nerve damage which makes him limp and still have pain. Soon to be retired he's offered a job, will he take it?

Tiffany was previously in an abusive slave relationship because of this she has been slowly learning to trust men again but more importantly herself.
Cordell has been helping her with this but he wants more, will it happen? Is Tiffany ready? Find out!

Both of the lead characters have trauma and are trying to recover from it which isn't smooth sailing.
It ends in a cliffhanger I guess you could say but after reading it I have no doubt it will end well.
Good read, plenty of detail and an emotional/ physical connection between Tiffany and Cordell which in undeniable

4 Stars

Addictive, eager-read of a new adventure from Samantha A. Cole that I couldn't put down for a second. Master Key Resort is the prequel to the new series from this fantastic author that will hands down captivate readers everywhere.

To be honest, I have not read any of the Trident Security series, but after reading this hot little number as I am a fan of BDSM numbers, I will be on Amazon in a heartbeat purchasing all of these books in a hot-minute! Samantha's writing and storytelling is encompassing and enjoyable. Her H/h characters are enticing and memorable. I can't wait to see what the Resort will hold for Cordell and Tiffany in the next book.

Master Key Resort can be read without reading the other books in the other series, however as I say this, you'll want too as the other characters are so three dimensional that you will WANT TO when your done; you will want to know their story and the impact they have within the series.

I can't wait for more.

I have read all of Samantha's books, sometimes more than once and have found them all to be first rate. This book, Master Key Resort, may be the exception. I found that the interaction between Master Cordell and Tiffany was not quite up to the standard of the other books published. There was not a whole lot of passion between them. Yes there was discipline and there was the BDSM element, but that was about it. Tiffany fell in love as did Master C., but not until towards the end of the book.
I did give it four stars as the concept was right up there with others from this author and there were very few grammatical and spelling errors. I am hoping that since this is the first in the series, that as we go along, the characters will develop into a more enjoyable read.

This book is very well written. Samantha Cole is a fairly new author to me, and I really, really liked this book. Tiffany and Cordell are characters that I would be drawn to if they were real people, and Master Key Resort would be awesome.

Cordell has a nurturing personality and he wants to help. Tiffany was rescued from an abuser who posed as a Dominant. Cordell has been her carding, platonic Domestic for some time... but does he want more? Does she? It’s an excellent read... but there’s a cliffhanger!! Be prepared.

Master Key Resort is the beginning of a new series by Samantha A Cole and I am beyond excited because I have been a fan of Ms. Cole’s since I discovered her Trident series. Every book that she has written has intriguing characters, compelling storylines, and gives me all the feels possible. Master Key Resort is no exception. Ms. Cole has set up this series beautifully by focusing on characters that we are already invested in and giving us peeks into those who will obviously be featured in future books.

In fact, it’s Ms. Cole’s ability to create characters that I want to be friends with that keeps me coming back with each book. Yes she also writes dramatic scenes that keep you on the edge of your seat. But it’s the characters themselves that keep my attention throughout the book. Watching Tiffany slowly coming out of her shell and recover from a previous abusive relationship brought me so much joy. The delicate but dominant way that Cordell helps her heal made me melt into a big puddle of goo.

I want to know these two inside and out and I am cheering loudly for them to receive the happy ending that both deserve. But that’s not happening just quite yet because Master Key is just the beginning of their story. And you know I will be first in line to read the next book as soon as it’s available. Hopefully I won’t have to wait too long.

WOW! What a great start to a new chapter for the Trident Group. I love the new cast of characters that have come in to play. The way Samantha looks into the thought processes for Master Cordell and Tiffany is brilliant. The interplay between the two is enjoyable to read. There are aspects of Tiffany I can relate to such as the losing time in thoughts though thankfully not due to the reasons she has. It is good to see how far she has come since she was introduced with Tori. I am also very happy to see members of the main Trident group come into play in background roles while letting new characters take center stage. I can already see a few stories I would like to see in the future and have great expectations for this new series. Great job Samantha

Samantha Cole is an new author to me and I have to say I enjoyed reading this first book in the series, I'm giving it a 4.5 star rating. The book is written around the BDSM community and is a good start to the series. Dom Cordell Roberts is an ex Las Vegas PD lieutenant who has agreed to work with the pretty, submissive Tiffany Armstrong and rehabilitate her. Tiffany was scared and skittish after she left an abusive relationship where she was being used as a slave to her previous Dom. I'm looking forward to the developing story between Cordell and Tiffany.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for a review

I rather enjoyed this novella, it is not my usually genre and I wanted to try something a little different. With books that have sexual scenes in, they can read very cringy, I did not feel this way reading this book.

I liked the depth to the characters, character development; and Samantha A Cole uses a good range of vocabulary for description. I am intrigued to find out what the resort will look like!

This book ends on a cliffhanger and yet doesn’t spoil the satisfaction of completing the book.

Thank you for the copy of this book in exchange for a voluntary review.

I am a huge fan of the Trident Series and was excited to hear about the spin off/new series. The author has done a good job to introduce us to the new series. We originally met Master Cordell and Tiffany in Option Number Three. Fast-forward and Cordell has medically retired from the police force in Las Vegas and Tiffany is healing with the help of Cordell. We see Cordell and Tiffany being offered positions in the new resort on Master Key, and with life-changing decisions to make. Was not ready for the spot at which ended this story, but this author will get us the answers we crave quickly enough. Will Cordell admit he likes His Sub, more than as a student? Will Tiffany open her heart again?

This is an introductory novella, but treat yourself to the Trident series especially if like military suspense.

Thank you to NetGalley and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for the free copy for my voluntary review.

It was a good start. Very short and to the point. I haven’t read the other series and it did leave me wondering who all the people where, because it was implied that the reader already knew. Mostly background info on the new characters. One sexy scene. There was a great deal of skipping around the timeline. Good start.

Received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.

So I finished this in a day and can say that I’m pretty neutral about it. There is a small storyline here about an up and coming prestigious and totally exclusive BDSM resort. Yes, this book is about BDSM and I was pleasantly surprised how knowledgeable that author was. I know very little of the community so can’t say about the accuracy but it seemed very researched and respectful of the culture. I would say the romance was a bit lacking than what I’m used to or would have expected in a BDSM book and the characters were only slightly developed. The main female was given a decent backstory and so was the male but it still left me looking for personality in the both of them. They did have their personalities described but it still felt lacking, like I was just being told about them but really seeing or feeling them.

The story ended on a pretty damn good cliffhanger that has me quite eager for what’s to come for these characters and I hope the storyline continues to feel more fleshed out as we move forward.
