I thought this book started out really well, but it dragged in the middle. The investigation was slow and didn't go anywhere until the end. I liked how she figured out who the killer was and the reveal. I liked the characters. #SconesandScofflaws #NetGalley

Scones and Scofflaws by Jane Gorman was an advanced reader copy from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Anna McGregor is fixing up an old house with Luke to become a bed and breakfast. Five guests arrive to stay in three rooms. The next morning one of the guests is dead at the breakfast table. Then the other guests come in. Time to call 911 for help. The B&B is closed down - then reservations are cancelled. Anna needs to solve this quick so people will come again to her B&B.
As with any new author that is new to me, the first few pages were a bit hard to get into. After reading this book, I am interested in Anna's next adventure. Thanks to Jane Gorman for a fun cozy mystery. Would love to try a scofflaw drink.
