This book is so much fun! My daughter had a blast with it and I tried out some illustrations too. This is great for adults and kids alike.

Absolutely adorable. I'm mostly a colorist, but this helped me with my drawing style. Highly recommend for fans of cuteness.

I really loved this book ut is absolutely so cute, this book would make the perfect gift fir anyone wanting to explore Chibi artwork or who enjoys doodling draw the animals are adorable and the instructions are easy-to-use.

Super!!

While I’m usually not interested in the typical step-by-step drawing books, you know, the ones that start with a circle, I really wanted to check this one out. The reason is, I follow Phoebe Im’s comic Bobblejot on Instagram and I really like the way Phoebe draws chibi characters, they are extra cute and soft.

First sections of the book cover the basics of what is a chibi, tools, tips and tricks for drawing, inking and coloring. It’s very basic, but you don’t really need much to start drawing these simplified creatures. Just have fun and enjoy the cuteness!.

This book has a whooping seventy-five animals to choose from, organized into 4 categories:

1. Land mammals
2. Aquatic and semiaquatic mammals
3. Birds
4. Amphibians, fish, reptiles and more

Each tutorial has at least 8 steps, but some animals require more than that, the horse being the longest one with 16 steps.

These chibi designs would look great in bullet journals, ready to cheer up your week. I can also imagine handmade greeting cards with one of these cuddly fellas spreading love. I drew some of them digitally at it was a lot of fun!

Great book for beginners or someone with more experience, or just learning how to take their drawings and make them more chibi or Kawaii.

It was one of the cutest learning book I have ever read! I didn't want it to finish but unfortunately I'm not an artist and didn't learn anything.

Excellent basic drawing text for those who wish to draw cute chibi animals. Seventy- five animals are included with detailed step by step instructions for practice.

My son loved this book! Definitely great for someone who wants to learn how to draw cute animals! Especially for the 10 year age group.

I’ve been a following Phoebe on Instagram for a while now, so I decided to check out her book and see what she had to say about drawing chibi animals. The opening is a small introduction to Pheobe and what chibi artwork is before diving in. I really liked her tips and tricks section. I like to draw and got into drawing digitally last year. While I’m not the best at drawing, I think it’s fun and relaxing. Her tips and tricks section did give me a great tip about inking lines. Using lines of varying thickness when drawing really does make a difference. It’s help bring my digital drawings more to life now that they’re not aesthetically flat thanks to my line work.

While the section on coloring is very small, I do think her advice on coloring in your work is simple but great for anyone new to drawing. It’s not complex and those extremely new to drawing and using this book to get them started may not find it that helpful, there’s enough information to make people less afraid about just diving in and coloring their drawings in.

Majority of the book is a step-by-step guide on how to draw many adorable chibi animals. They are separated by the type of animal, such as birds, sea life, and so on, so it’s easy to navigate when not using the table of contents to find a particular animal. I think it’s a great book to give people new to drawing, or anyone looking to enhance their skills a bit, some information on how to sketch out and create guides for shapes when drawing.

Super cute pictures with easy to follow instructions. Great for beginners or even a classroom setting for a guided drawing activity. I love that now I can draw these cute and easy drawings too

I tried to follow the steps and to my surprise the chibi animals were both easy to draw and *super* cute!!!

Art therapy is one of the solutions that I find always works. Many of my students enjoy Anime and creating cartoon characters. This book provides 75 different how-to instructions that will help students focus, reduce anxiety and have fun.

Learn to draw cute chibi animals is a really cute step by step guide to draw your own chibi animals. The book starts off explaining what chibi animals tend to look like - big heads and eyes with smaller body. The book gives simple, easy to follow step by step instructions and illustrations on how to draw a variety of animals in chibi form.
If your not great at art (like me) the shape formats used are brilliant to use and follow - drawing rounded shapes and rubbing out lines as you go along, but more confident and skillful drawers will probably manage to do these animal drawings without these shapes.
This is a great book for both children and adults to use.

Lovely, simple and easy to follow instructional guide. Would make a lovely gift for a fan of this style of illustration.
