I wanted to review this book because I have read Meet the Planets, and I wasn't disappointed! It's a gorgeously illustrated picture book that is well researched! I love the rhyming text and the facts interspersed!

This could be the perfect picture book managing to be both educational and fun! Diving down in our submarine we meet some of the world's oceans and seas, each with its own distinct personality. The illustrations are bold and bright with great rhyming passages. Meet the Oceans would make a great classroom resource for EYFS through to early KS2.

A great book that will stimulate and interest in underwater life and provide plenty of opportunity for discussion.. The text gives enough basic information for the target audience and the illustrations support this and prove a delight to explore.

I read this with my class, during a lesson about oceans and they loved it. Will not need a paper copy so they can access it themselves, in the classroom..

This was a really wonderful and colourful book that we read for bedtime.

My daughter liked how it advises the risks from dropping your litter and she will now be thinking about what happens to her rubbish.

My son liked everything about this especially how the seas and oceans had expressions, especially on the Pacific.

They think their friends would like it and would tell them to read it

Meet the Oceans is one of the best children's books I've read in a long time, and I read many them. I've learned a lot from this book and enjoyed it immensely. The illustrations are perfect, and just looking at the pages is enough to make one happy. Perfect book.

It's mind-blowing to think the ocean is one of the world's most unexplored spaces but in this fantastic picture book children can take their own epic, deep sea adventure to discover some of the incredible creatures and habitats which exist within it.

Author Caryl Hart invites teeny readers to climb aboard a submarine and explore each ocean in turn, finding out all sorts of cool facts and meeting brilliant creatures from land and sea.

Together we travel from the freezing Arctic Ocean with friendly beluga whales to the balmy Caribbean Sea with its abundance of star fish and crabs. In the Pacific, we learn about the problem of plastic in the oceans and it's a timely and vital lesson for young people to learn, with the message of looking after our planet ringing clearly throughout.

In an act of pure artistic brilliant, Bethan Woollvin somehow manages to capture the individuality of each ocean, making each vibrant, colourful and packed with life, while Caryl's bouncy rhyming text makes this an energetic and pacy read. There's so much to learn and enjoy in this book and it's ideal for little ocean explorers!
