Daisy needs time to get over a failed romance, so she travels to France to stay at her friend Poppy’s Guest House. Daisy’s friend Poppy needs help looking after her six dogs. Daisy spends a lot of time walking the dogs and keeping them out of mischief.
As well as helping at the Guest House and looking after Poppy’s dogs Daisy also looks after some dogs for a fried of Poppy.
This was a fun romance with lots of dogs. I loved the different personalities of all the different dogs.

Daisy’s French Farmhouse by Lorraine Wilson was a lovely sweet read and a great book to take on holiday with you. I never realised this is the third book in A French Escape series. But, a great stand alone book.
This book is about Poppy and JoJo and their herd of adorable dogs who live in the French countryside and run a guest house. (How wonderful...........)
Daisy has never had any luck in love and needs a change. So she goes to France for the summer and what a great way of spending her summer at Poppy's guest house with lots of wine, Sun and relaxation. Thats all Daisy needs to recharge her batteries. Especially as Poppy is so welcoming and her guesthouse is so homely and cosy,
Whilst Daisy was enjoying her rest she finds herself dog sitting for two adorable rescue dogs she was lucky to be offered a job dog sitting on a regular basis by Anton who is enigmatic widower and bookseller. Daisy did not come to France to start a relationship with someone!

This book was a lovely cosy read and I just loved it especially as its not usually a book I would read But the title just caught my eye. I am so glad I had a chance to read and review this book.

Big Thank you to Netgalley, HarperCollins UK/One More Chapter for letting me to read this book in exchange for a review.

A light, enjoyable romance set in the golden warmth of the summer sun in the French countryside. The author creates a gorgeous setting you can see and feel, and the cover nails it. Armchair travel at its best. I didn’t realize this was part of a series, but it can easily stand alone. The main issue I had was the lack of time spent on Anton’s research, history, legends, their outings, as well as Daisy’s psychometric gift. They stood out as too short in contrast with the lengthy time spent on the dogs and on the sex scenes. There needed to be more of a balance. Aside from the technical issues just noted, this is a sweet, restorative love story. A perfect summer read.

Daisy worked in a hotel but after an embarrassing incident with one of the guests who she didn't know was married, she decides to head off to France to stay with her friend and help get her finish getting her business ready.
Enter a lot of dogs who all have a different personalities and Daisy starts to think that maybe she could start a business dog walking where she meets Anton who also has 2 dogs and they become friends
A fun read, loved the descriptions of the dogs personalities, it certainly brought them to life

After being invited to read this, I fell in love with the cover, which helped to decide me.

Although this is part of an established series, I didn’t have any problems with reading this as a standalone, with no prior experience of the other titles in the series.

I enjoyed this one - it was a quick read, sweetly cheerful and full of wonderful dogs.

Daisy’s French Farmhouse is the third book in a series, however it can be read and enjoyed as a standalone as I have done.
Daisy needs a fresh start away from London, away from the whispers at work and decides to escape to France to seek refuge with her friend Poppy.

The French Farmhouse is a guesthouse ran by Daisy’s friend Poppy who is happy to help her start afresh in France.
Helpfully at the start of the book is a little round up of the characters and the dogs in the book for those who are new to the series, I found this a really lovely way to introduce new readers to this little world.
The dogs make a really lovely link between the human characters and provide some entertainment along the way.

Daisy is a big fan of dogs and so it seems natural for her to start a dog sitting and walking business and her first customer happens to have two lovely dogs and be a bit of a catch himself!

Daisy and Anton are a lovely pair and you’re really rooting for them to get together.
Anton is a widower, Daisy hasn’t had much luck with men and has this special “gift” that has often been a barrier to relationships

And while neither was looking for love, there is no ignoring the fizzling chemistry between them.

This is the first time I have read anything by this author, and I really enjoyed this book.
It's one for fans of romance, and contemporary fiction, it has some comedic moments as well as some sombre themes but lots of feel good and romance!

I did not realise that this was the 3rd book in a series. It was still enjoyable as a standalone novel but I think that I will read the previous books before I read part 4, when it is published. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had read the other books first.
This is a heartwarming and enjoyable read, set in an idyllic part of France. I loved reading about the dogs antics, they made me smile.
Thank you to Netgalley and the Publisher for my ARC.

Daisy’s French Farmhouse is owned by Daisy’s friend, Poppy….she escapes here to get a new start in her life.
This is the third book in the series. I have not read the previous books. I did not have any problem reading this as a standalone.
A lighthearted romance with lots of dog antics to make you smile. Finding the strength to trust and fall in love again.
Many thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and author for the opportunity to read this book for my honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.

The story of Daisy and Anton. Daisy in is France to escape her life back home, and meets Anton when she starts walking his dogs. They have a connection, but can he move on from losing his wife?
Great setting for a book,

I love escape reads as they afford armchair traveling without heading to the airport. This time, the story offers a French flair when Daisy seeks solace after a shocking surprise.

Finding out her love interest was married leaves her reeling and Daisy leaves her job and travels to her friends in France to fearing she would be fired. An avid dog lover, Daisy contemplates starting her own business while unleashing a new love affair.

Readers will fall in love with the scenery and Daisy's shenanigans. At times I felt the story moved too slowly while penning superfluous moments. That being said, for a charming, lighthearted read, Lorraine Wilson serves up a tasty helping of French cuisine and countryside.

A sweet romantic story with some dark undertones. The main characters are very likable and you really root for them. And there are cute dogs in it too! The perfect book if you are having an off day. It will cheer you right up.

I got this arc in exchange for an honest review.

A quick, fun. and quirky read. A great book to pop into the beach or pool bag, or to enjoy while killing time on a free afternoon. I was drawn to this novel by the cover and read it all due to the fun story. Thanks, NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC ebook in exchange for my honest review.

What a great romp if a little predictable. I did find that the prose was a little repetitive. I liked the quotes at the start of each chapter, very apt. Heartbroken 30year old girl leaves big city life in the UK to flee to the South of France and an old girlfriend with a spare room. There she finds the love of her life, most likely, and the story unfolds. She takes up dog sitting/walking to earn some cash hoping to turn it into a business, lots of fun dogs owned by her girlfriend and soon to be lover. Happy ending!

There’s a book before this one that introduces Poppy and the guesthouse, which I haven’t read. However I don’t feel it’s essential to read that book before this one. There’s enough of an explanation of existing characters that I didn’t feel I was missing anything. In this book we follow Daisy, who leaves London after making a mistake, and goes to France to have a rethink and decide what she wants to do with her life.

This was a lovely and light story of love, life and starting over, but also a story of dogs. There’s a number of dogs at the guesthouse and as Daisy decides to start dog sitting, we are introduced to even more of them. The human characters in the book are well written and realistic and the dogs are no different, showing how understanding and supportive they can be of people. I didn’t entirely warm to Daisy, to me she came across as a bit immature at times, and I felt the story could have down with a bit more depth. However I did get a good sense of the area of France that Daisy was in, and it felt like an ideal place to rest and review.

This is a lovely read and ideal for transporting you to France in the summer, especially if you aren’t able to travel there yourself. Probably best read with nice cold drink, to make the experience more authentic.

This was a new author for me but really enjoyed the story and it was such an easy read. . Romance, love and a good story so what more do you need . . A great book and great background of France and their way of life.

A fun, quick, summer romance that was equal parts saucy, sweet and thought provoking, all with a gorgeous French backdrop. I wish I had read the first couple books in the series to better enjoy the characters in this book. Daisy and Anton were sultry and I enjoyed following their love journey.

Daisy goes to stay with her friend Poppy in France. She helps out with the guesthouse and also looks for dog walking/sitting work so that she can decide whether to stay in France.
The dogs were a delight to get to know- cheeky, escapologists, and cuddly. They all have their own individual personalities. This would make a great read for a dog lover.
Daisy has some decisions to make and whether she can trust a new man enough to take a chance on falling in love. Some steamy scenes along the way and Anton has his own decisions to make.
It was nice to catch up with characters- but this could be read as a stand alone book.

A romantic getaway from scorching heat......................

Daisy's French Farmhouse by Lorraine Wilson offers relief to our heart in this summer with its beautiful plot. The story narrates itself around a Daisy who wants a second chance in her love life. The plot has few characters and too many dogs, which is kind of cute. If you are looking for a book to relieve you this summer, then this is for you.

I would like to give the book 4 stars. Thanks to Rachel's Random Resources, One More Chapter and Netgalley for providing me an opportunity to read and review the book.

When Daisy finds out the man she’s been seeing is married, her reaction is to contact her friend, Poppy and asks if she can stay with her for a while. She’s embarrassed about her lack of judgement, so hopes a summer getaway will help her decide what she wants to do with her life. On arrival in Southern France, she’s instantly drawn to the area and wonders whether she can make her life here too?

I like Daisy and found her psychometric “gift” intriguing and enjoyed how the author works this into the narrative. It is interesting to understand how others view Daisy when they discover this about her and therefore, how Anton reacts himself. Equally, his charm is addictive as we discover his passionate interest in local folklore and dedication to keeping his old family bookshop open. His openness to sharing these things with Daisy, as he showed her around local places of interest is addictive. Emotions and feelings are constant, as Daisy begins looking to create a new life for herself as Anton slowly opens up to taking a chance on love again.

The ending is poignant and touching in what is a truly evocative novel. The overall feel is joyful as were entertained on this emotional journey of discovery for the two protagonists. It’s light-hearted yet tinged with small pockets of sadness… with a happy ending, full of promise.

All the dogs play a large part in the narrative and, for me, steal rather a lot of attention away from the humans. I’m sure there are many fans of the series who disagree with me. It’s just, that I’d rather have read more about Daisy and Anton than the canine cuties.
