Enjoyed it, but the magic of the TV show was lacking. Could've been the setting and the fabulous fashion there - and also the fact that Charles actually existed there - but just being in the whole Liza POV throughout felt a little constricted. Her daughter also turned out to be a nightmare in this sequel, which really killed the vibe at times
Still, for nostalgia's sake, if you enjoyed the TV show, check it out. Lots of little Easter eggs to be found throughout

I haven’t read Younger (I’ve watched some of the TV show) and probably should have done that before reading Older, but I enjoyed it even so. It’s quite short and sort of gentle and not particularly original, but it’s a lovely comfort read.

I love the tv show and was more than happy to read this book.
It's highly entertaining and engrossing, I hope it will be turned into a tv show as well.
I liked the characters, the storytelling and humour.
It's recommended.

This book wasn’t really a favourite for me and I don’t feel like I could engage myself fully in it. I didn’t hate it by any means and I’m sure that some readers will absolutely love it. It just wasn’t my cup of tea.

I felt like like I missed a trick with this, I hadn’t read Younger and so I think I struggled to get into this from the start. Would like to have read it with that perspective.

This was a charming, cosy and quick read, but didn’t really live up to expectations. I didn’t hate it, but I equally didn’t love it. I wondered maybe if it was because I’d not read the book Younger first, but I’ve spoken to others who said it doesn’t really make a difference.

I found this novel quite hard to get into at first. The writing style is quite divisive as the protagonist comes across self indulgent and irritating although I did warm to her as the story unfolded. I have to say that you could make a drinking game out of how many times Sutton Foster’s name is mentioned (I know she plays the lead character in the television adaptation of Younger, but my goodness it’s a lot),

I loved Younger and also lived the tv show, so when I saw this one I just wanted to read thus book. And I must say I wasn't disappointed.

This was a 3.5 stars for me.

Having enjoyed the tv series based on the author's first book in the series "Younger", I thought this might be a fun read - and I wasn't disappointed. Its a quick, easy read that continues the story of Liza as she heads towards 50 and tries to figure out what she wants from life. I enjoyed revisiting the characters and it was perfect escapism for a few hours.

“Older” by Pamela Redmond Satran takes readers again on Liza’s journeys. However, this time Liza is facing adulthood and owning up to her choices as a near fifty year old. This book is a joy for fans of the show “Younger” and those needing a good laugh after a hard year. Pamela is able to take readers through the lens of her characters without over sharing details.
I would recommend this story to anyone who loves the hit series based on both books. The author drops hints from the series and allows those readers to see glimpses of what may have played out on the show.

As a massive fan of the author's first novel in this series younger and an avid watcher of the tv series younger I was so excited to start reading this and it certainly didn't disappoint I started reading it this morning and haven't put it down till completed it. Was great to see more of Liza and her friends and to see how her life continues to play out. Was a perfect pick me up and would love a further novel to keep up to date with her adventures.
