I must admit I had a hard time getting through the first chapters. Brooke is a young mother, married to Dean who is adamant she does not have to work. He will support her and give her all she needs and wants. And Brooke wants... a hot tub. They cannot afford a hot tub, so Dean secretly goes to work as a mystery shopper. Cue all the antics.

The story is quite easy to read once you get past your shock about the chauvinism. I sometimes laughed out loud. Fortunately there is an epilogue that explains some things... otherwise you will think you are left hanging. You can click on a link at the end of the book!

Overall: not exactly my cup of tea but I liked it! 3,5 stars.

DNF!!
Ughh I Though this will be a fun read but NO since the beginning it was a catastrophe but the guy and his wife were the worst people in the world and like in the first 20 pages it was so male chauvinist!!!

The book was ok, but just not my cup of tea. I kept thinking this would be more fun as a movie or something instead of a book. The ending kind of drove me insane, since there is no closure anywhere for anything. I guess the cliffhanger is suppose to want to make you read book 2, but I just kind of frustrated me. If I had to sum up the characters; her - spoiled and annoying and him - completely clueless. That said, this is a very fast read and quite witty. Portions of this is hilarious, I just couldn’t get behind the whole book itself.

Thank you NetGalley, Helen E. Field and Cameron Publicity & Marketing Ltd for the ARC of The Mystery Shopper & The Hot Tub. This is my personal review.
This book has a little bit of everything in it. The book is a quick easy read and one that I think a lot of people will like and knowing it is Book One Of The De'ath Family Antics makes it even better. The next is going to be a book to look forward to reading
