That this story has remained untold (in English) for so long is both amazing and a travesty. Thankfully it is told here in a many befitting the story. The author manages to paint a vivid picture of the human story behind a scientifically fascinating expedition. A book I really did not want to put down from the second I picked it up. Everyone should read this book!
