Great escapism by the sea

Rose has overcome a life threatening illness and is making the most of life, she takes a job in Cornwall, to possibly find the man that saved her life, where she fully immerses herself into the community becoming involved in the Falford Regatta and meeting the handsome Morvah brothers, one of which could be the one who saved her.
Listening to some Cornish myths and legends, learning how to sail and spending lazy afternoons by the water, what more could you wish for?
Maybe your own happy ever after?

I want to thank Netgalley and the author for gifting me the ebook. This story was okay. To me it was a bit unrealistic. Also a light and easy read.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book as it took me on a wonderful and vivid journey to cornwall and its stunning surroundings. A rather emotive read with a delicate subject which I thought was handled beautifully. My thanks to netgalley an erc of this book in return for my honest opinion!

I really enjoyed this book! The characters were great, the story flowed really well and it was easy to just curl up and get into it. The descriptions of the beach were great, loved the cover, highly recommend this book x

Loved this book - an easy read, the perfect book to curl up with and enjoy some escapism with.

I loved the setting (hello, anything to do with the Cornwall), the characters and the overall warmth and depth to this story.

I could almost hear the waves crashing and feel the sand between my toes as I flew through this heart-warming, romantic story.

Another winner by Phillipa Ashley! Love these stories and the characters, always easy to read. A nice break from my usual crime thrillers.

An easy read with some scenes that had poignant issues.
This had the author's classic style of descriptive writing
slightly slow for me, but I got to know the characters.
Overall, an enjoyable read

I want to start off by saying the copy from netgalley is riddled with typos, wrong character names in places and really poorly edited. I hope that this was just an advanced reader copy we received and not the edited and published novel.
Another lovely adventure in Cornwall with some lovely characters, local history, myths, folklore and more.
I really enjoyed the historical points, I think the story of excalibur is fascinating so I loved having this and other Cornish mysteries being a huge part of the tale. There was clearly a lot of knowledge went into writing this.
Same with the parts where Rose was learning to sail, the author clearly did her research and I found it really interesting.
Great characters, a lovely sweet romance, a beautiful setting.
Great read I would definitely recommend.

I have read and enjoyed many of Phillipa Ashley's previous books - which I can highly recommend, so I was looking forward to this one. I wasn't disappointed. A lovely romance story set in beautiful Cornwall.

I loved the setting, the plot was well paced with twists and turns to keep me interested throughout. I engaged with the main character Rose and her quest to find her donor. This is the perfect holiday read or for a cosy winter afternoon on the sofa with a cuppa and some chocolate.

I am looking forward to reading the next one...

Highly recommended

This was a lovely book a really nice easy read.

Rose works as an archaeologist for a University and has come to Cornwall for the summer to help with the digs round the area s she is charge of them. She get involved in the village with the people and events and makes new friends.

The book had romance of course and a bit of twist which was really good.

I read this book courtesy of NetGalley. A comforting read exuding warmth and a feel good factor to escape with. Set in an idyllic Cornish coastal village full of delightful local characters creating a true community spirit away from the tourists. Liberally sprinkled with a touch of humour thrown in with an emphasis on life on a picturesque river estuary loosely based near Falmouth. There are some serious issues addressed plus the usual round of misunderstandings but a brilliant summer/holiday book to sit back and relax with.

Enjoyed my visit to Cornwall. A sad start to the book but enjoyed how Rose became part of the community and helped her new friends.
Looking forward to reading the Christmas book

Cornwall at it's best in the summer. As the quest to find the anonymous donor unfolds how can two wonderful baotbuiders, an archiologist and a local who runs a gift shop filled with pixies etc hope to find the answer and maybe love. A truly delightful read

Good characters and an interesting storyline, though I felt the ending was a little quick but it was a good enjoyable read. Quick and nice.

I was sent this book by netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I'm always delighted to read a Phillipa Ashley novel, and was even more excited when I read this one's unusual premise.

There is a lot going on in this story, apart from Rose's search for her donor. I learnt something about sailing, boats and boat building for a start, not to mention snippets of archaeology, and local legends and folklore. Then there is the wonderful community spirit, the friendships, the sibling angst, and a pair of gorgeous brothers. Oh, and a delicious slow burning romance.

Another lovely book from the queen of uplifting romance.

An Endless Cornish Summer by Phillips Ashley

Rose Vernon is headed to a quiet Cornish Village to find the man who saved her life - a stem cell donor.

This was a very delightful story. A young woman has a stem cell transplant and sets out to find her donor. I liked reading about the boatyard, the marina, and the sailing. Very romantic. I enjoyed this book.

Thanks to Net Galley for sending me an advanced reader’s copy for my review.
