For Rose, every day is a gift. She narrowly survived a life-threatening illness and owes everything to her anonymous donor. Determined to thank him, Rose follows a trail of clues that lead her to the little Cornish fishing village of Falford.
But things become complicated when Rose is drawn into local life, becoming involved in the legendary Falford Regatta and meeting the handsome Morvah brothers – one of whom might just be the man she’s looking for. But which one?
Can Rose find the answer she’s searching for, or will she lose her heart before the summer is over?
Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for allowing me to read this.
I really enjoyed this book! It wasnt a run of the mill love story. Rose doesnt work in a bakery/flower shop/tearoom etc. There was of course the love interest along with a brother (which one will she choose?) Will she stay or return home after the summer? Will she ever get out of the smallest flat in the world?.......So many questions! Ultimately this is a fell good book, a 'make you smile' book a 'make your heart melt a little' book. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

If you need a summer escape, look no further than the Cornish village of Falford. Rose is an archeologist who has lived through her share of hard times. She’s fighting back from a horrible illness where she received the gift of life from an anonymous living donor. Her summer and job leads her to the small village to track down her donor. Rose meets and befriends some of the locals, including the gorgeous Morvah brothers. Could someone she’s recently met and fallen in love with be her donor who saved her? Dive into this book that is just as charming as it’s setting and characters. I really enjoyed everything about this book, especially the characters. I found myself feeling very connected and as if I was part of the small town as well.

If you want to experience Cornwall and the sea without getting your feet wet, then this book does it in abundance. I learned just as much about sailing as I did about stone circles and the legends. Phillipa Ashley had me caring about the main character Rose from the outset and even if some of the characters were slightly full of themselves, as the story goes on you can sort of start to like them too!

4 years ago Rose had a successful Stem cell transplant. After her grandmother's death she is given a letter written by Granny Marge suggesting that she should find her donor.
She traces her donor to Falford in Cornwall, it is probably one of two brothers but which one? A journey of discovery with beautiful scenery and myths & legends along the way.

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Avon Books UK for my copy of An Endless Cornish Summer by Phillipa Ashley in exchange for an honest review. It published June 24, 2021.
This fits right in with others written by Phillipa Ashley and a wonderful return for a summer "trip" to Cornwall. I really enjoyed the atmospheric scenery and I really enjoyed the local legends and archeology and you can tell the research that was done!

An Endless Cornish Summer by Phillipa Ashley has Rose who is working in Cornwall for the summer so that she can try to find the man who saved her life.  She had a rare blood issue and a bone marrow transplant saved her life.  She wrote to thank the donor, and got a postcard back, and so she's come to the place from the postcard!

Rose joins in community life, and is also working locally as she's an archaeologist, and has a dig nearby.  She's still on the lookout for her donor, and thinks it's one of the local boat building brothers.  But how is she going to find out?

This is the story about finding happiness, and has beautiful descriptions of Cornwall.  It is an uplifting romance, and was lovely to read.

An Endless Cornish Summer  was published on 24th June 2021 and is available from  Amazon ,  Waterstones  and  Bookshop.org .

Another great Phillipa Ashley book! I have really enjoyed some of her other stories so was looking forward to this one and it didn't disappoint. Set in a wonderful part of the world (I also live in the West Country so am a little bias!), Phillipa sets the scene and describes Falford so well. I know of local communities such as this and could really picture the place so well.

Rose has been through a lot and seems so lovely that you really want things to go well for her. Plenty happens over the time she spends in the village and I was never quite sure which way the story was going to go. I had my suspicions but couldn't quite be sure! Alongside Rose, Finn and Joey, there are such characters in this book, so many of which were so well described that I really felt as though I wanted to get in the car, drive to Falford and have a drink in the Ferryman's or a coffee at Bo's! I won't spoil your enjoyment of the book by telling you how things turn out but trust me - you should read it yourself to find out! As for myself, I'm off to find another Phillipa Ashley book to read.....

Thank you to Net Galley and the publishers for allowing me to read this in exchange for a honest review, which is what I have given.

I love Phillipa Ashley books and this fun, romantic, summer story was no exception!

I really enjoyed the character's backstory and motivations, and the cast of characters she came across. As with all Phillipa Ashley's Cornish books, I finished with the desire to move to a small Cornish town immediately.

I really enjoyed An Endless Cornish Summer by Phillipa Ashley that was easy to read, perfect to get me hooked in and fab twists and turns. Having recently been on holiday to Cornwall it was nice to read of some places I recognised too.

I enjoyed this book, its just not the most memorable one I've read. The characters are well the developed and the plot is interesting enough to keep you reading until the end because you do want to know who Rose's donor is. I do hope that this book highlights the importance of stem cell donation and how it can save somebody's life.

I really enjoyed this book. I felt like I'd been transported to Cornwall when I was reading and could picture Falford Creek. I wish I could visit. I really enjoyed the transplant aspect of the book, which can only raise awareness for the need for more people to sign up on the register. I look forward to more books by Phillipa in the future.

Rose, a young archeology student, gets diagnosed with aplastic anaemia. She is in desperate need of a bone marrow transplant and after a thorough search all over the UK, a donor is found. Rose receives her transplant and once recovered, she starts her PhD and is desperate to thank her donor for the life she can continue living, in person as opposed to the anonymous letter and postcard.

Following the clue at the back of the postcard, she departs to Cornwall where it is impossible to miss the Morvah brothers at the marine. Judging by the immediate strong connection and if the picture on the postcard is anything to go by, one of them is bound to be the donor. Which one, though?

#AnEndlessCornishSummer is a lovely romance and adventure. I couldn't have enough of the two main characters.

Thank you #Netgalley and publishers for a free copy of this book.

This was an okay read there was a few timeline issues for me but the story went along quite nicely and the heroine was likable and the love interest believable. the setting was well crafted and the little magick shop sounds wonderful.

I rate this as a middle of the road romance nothing to rave about but it also did noting wrong either. I was good.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for my copy of this book to review

Not an author I've tried before. Have to admit that I thought this would be predictable - most books in this genre are - but it was surprisingly good and DID keep me guessing. Okay, so it was obvious from chapter 1 that she'd end up with 1 of 2 blokes but normally it's obvious from chapter 1 EXACTLY who the heroine will end up with. The added mystery of who her stem cell donor was and the fact that the protagonist didn't start a cafe/bakery/bookshop (or even bake a single cake!), made this book a bit different from the norm and I for one really liked that.

An Endless Cornish Summer is a great summer read that will take you on a heartrendering mission to find a donor. It’s quite a story that has some heartache, but an overriding warmth and escapism with some romance.

This has a great summer feel and a great story. Rose has had a life-threatening illness and has been in hospital in an isolation ward, where even stem-cell treatment crops up. Fast forward 4 years later and things are much better, but sad events still occur in her life, but it is heartwarming that Marge lleaves a powerful, beautiful letter, which persuades her to start to hunt for her donor. It’s quite a story that has heartache, is heartrendering and affairs of the heart. Rose meets Finn Morvah and he and his family own Morvah Marine, but business is complicated on the backdrop of gorgeous scenery, boats and boatyards, that make the area colourful and come to life, along with the other characters she meets. There’s even the potential for a spot of romance and it keeps you guessing whether she will fall for Finn or Joey or neither of them. They also have to work her out too, whether she will be interested in either of them, or so dedicated to her job as an archeologist that she doesn’t have time for that sort of thing. It also brings some light humour to what starts out as quite a heartbreaking situation and moves to being heartwarming, romantic in a way that is great for lounging in the sun with. It is all such a joy to escape to Cornwall and its coastal scenery. It really does make you wish summer would never end. It has that sunshine glow written all over it that makes it a great summer read!

I loved this book and was sorry when I had finished it. The story pulls you into the life of the characters and you almost feel like you are there living it with them. The description of Cornwall and it’s hidden gems is enough to make you want to pack your bags and visit it in person. The story twists and turns with a will they won’t they/who is the donor?

Well worth a summer read.
