I can't say enough how much I love Kerry Lonsdale's writing!! I have read all of her books and I have loved every one of them. Her characters are so "real"; they have real drama, real feelings, real issues. The story lines are always intriguing and she keeps you guessing along the way (which is one of my favorite characteristics in a book). No More Words is the first in a trilogy and I am biting at the bit for the next installment!

Excellent Series Opener. This is one of those books that sucks you in so completely you don't even remember it is a series opener... until certain plot threads are left dangling at the end. And yet those very threads are clearly worthy of at least one more book, and possibly a book each... which is clearly exactly the point. :) Lonsdale has always been a remarkably strong storyteller, and here she really begins to break away from everything that could have previously been seen as getting awfully close to "typecasting" - while still maintaining a strong and rare/ possibly unique voice of her own. A great story that hooks you in from chapter one and leaves you desperately begging for Book 2 at the end, this is one book you certainly won't want to miss. Very much recommended.

I tried to read this book slowly but could not do it. I just devoured this book, could not stop my self. It's a story about family, 3 siblings and the messed up people who were their parents. These siblings are not close but would do anything for each other. I just felt like I was picked up and plopped down into this story. This was only book one! Can not wait to read the next two, just give me a few months to process this one....

I recommend this book to everyone 100%

This book was so good, I read it in one day! It’s book one in a series and told in dual time lines.
Olivia finds the nephew she’s never met in her yard one day. She’s able to find out he’s looking for his Mom, her sister that she hasn’t seen in 14 years.
This book is full of secrets, lies and lots of family drama.
I really enjoyed this book and look forward to the next one in the series.
Thanks to the author for the early copy

No More Words, the first book in a new trilogy by Kerry Lonsdale, and it was a great way to start the series. Kerry is an auto-read author to me because her books have it all and make me feel so many emotions.

No More Words is a suspenseful drama that follows the Carson family. 14 years ago, their daughter Lily ran away when she discovered she was pregnant and aside from a photo of her son Josh that she sends her sister Olivia ever year, no one has heard or seen from her. When Josh arrives at Olivia's house one day unable to tell her much about his past and where Lily is, Olivia sets out to find out what happened to Lily and uncovers a number of family secrets along the way.

I could not put this book down and every time I thought I was figuring out which direction the story was going in, Kerry would send me in another direction. The chapters alternate between present day and past summers that Olivia, Lily and their brother Lucas spent as children at the lake house of family friends, to help build the story and show how things started to breakdown in the family over the years. While most chapters follow Olivia's side of the story, I liked the few chapters we got that offered Lucas' side so you could see how things looked from his perspective.

Olivia was a great character and with her trust issues she felt incredibly authentic. On the outside she looks like a person who has it all, a successful career and a father who always showed how much he loved and supported her, but throughout her life she has had the people she love hurt her in a number of ways. I loved the relationship she formed with Josh, someone she didn't want to grow close to for fear of what would happen if she found Lily. I can't wait to read No More Lies to continue the story of the Carson family.

Thank you to Kerry Lonsdale, NetGalley, and Lake Union Publishing for an advance digital copy in exchange for an honest review.

“No More Words” is the first book in a new trilogy by author, Kerry Lonsdale.

Olivia is reeling from the break up with her boyfriend when Josh, her teenaged nephew that she has never met, shows up at her door. Josh’s mom, Lily, left home when she was sixteen and pregnant and hasn’t had any contact with the rest of family since that day. Josh is unable to tell his aunt what happened to Lily because of speech issues, but his drawings reveal a mystery. As Lily tries to help her nephew, she discovers more about her own family and is forced to reveal the scars of her own dysfunctional upbringing.

Kelly Lonsdale manages to keep her readers on their toes while telling an affecting, suspenseful story of a what can happen when buried family secrets are uncovered

Fans of Kelly Lonsdale previous novels will not be disappointed, but I imagine “No More Words” will introduce new readers to her captivating storytelling. I imagine this will be a popular summer read.

Thanks to Netgalley, the publisher, and the author for the ARC to review.

Title: No More Words (book 1 in trilogy)
Author: Kerry Lonsdale
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lonsdale has an incredible art for storytelling. She builds characters and plots that suck you in and leave you feeling like you know the people and places. She pulls you into the moment without talking at you with unnecessary detail.

I'm a dialogue girl. I like stories with great conversation and that is dialogue to keep stories going vs excess description. Lonsdale does this.

I'll admit that I started the story with an eye roll because I thought it was going to be a group of spoiled siblings with a politician father. Yuck! Not my usual story and not something I'd want to read.

I was wrong. Really I should have known better. Cliche plots aren't Lonsdale's usual style and I shouldn't have expected it. I'm so glad I was wrong. Olivia and her siblings are the children of a father running for office and they live under a microscope. They enjoy summer trips with friends and we watch lifelong friendships form.

Present day shows us to Olivia dealing with her own life as an adult. A series of events (not listing because I hate spoilers in reviews) lead Olivia to begin to search to uncover her family's secrets and what she finds can't stay buried anymore.

I received an advanced digital copy in exchange for my honest opinion.

. OMG!! Holy Moly!! If you are a fan of Kerry's you will totally love this story!! WOWOWOW WOW WOW!! The style of writing brought me back to the Everything Series!!, The characters are soo complex, yet so liked, and loved, As in most of Kerry's books she brings you into her world of fascinating plots, and love/hate/love relationships, carefully making each character at one point come into space with someone else, I simply love her style of writing. I so totally loved the rollercoaster ride to the finish!!! UNBELIVABLE!!! Thank you for letting me read this book. This was simply AMAZING!!! Looking forward to book 2!!!

Author Kerry Lonsdale has kicked off her latest trilogy with a gripping story of family, deception, and a slew of complicated relationships. No More Words is centered around Olivia, the oldest of three siblings, haunted by nightmares and by the emotional and physical distance she’s put between herself and her younger brother and sister. An unexpected visitor sends Olivia on a mad dash to find her estranged sister, unearthing long-buried secrets and painful memories that threaten any hope of Olivia accepting love and finding peace. This is a finely-crafted and complex story that combines suspense, family drama, and romance that will hook readers from the first page, and keep them up all night! I’ll be waiting impatiently for the next book in this compelling series!

Olivia has not seen or heard from
her sister Lily in years ,Lily left home when she was 16 and pregnant and no one has heard from her since, except for the letter Olivia receives from her once a year on her son Josh’s birthday.

Out of the blue Josh shows upon Olivia’s doorstep, Lily is missing and Olivia discovers she has power of attorney for josh. Unfortunately Josh has had some sort of brain injury making it difficult for him to communication with his words. He can however draw his words for Olivia.

This book weaves through the secrets of a family, what does her mom know, could her father be a murderer ? Secrets, lies, deceptions, romance and imperfect but perfect characters... Olivia, Lucas, Josh, Lily, and Blaze(ok...I might have a little crush !)
Can Olivia and Josh together find Lily’s secrets and what happened to her.

This author keeps getting better and better and this book was a page turner from page one. I can’t wait for the next book in this new series, if you are a fan of Kerry Lonsdale you will love this and if you haven’t read her books yet, buckle up and enjoy the ride !

As usual Kerry Londsdale never disappoints. This book was amazing. The characters were easy to relate with and I loved the switch between current and past times that is done in the chapters. I had so many guesses as to what happened to Lily and I was wrong about all of them. This book wi definately keep you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what Olivia will find out about Josh and the disappearance of her sister lily. The ending took me by surprise and the culprit was definatatly not who I first suspected. I can't wait for the next book to come out and continue on with this story !

I received this book "No More Words" from NetGalley and all opinions expressed are my own. The book started off a bit slow but then picked up. I connected with the characters and wanted to know more about them and what was going to happen next. I looked forward to reading this each day. I normally don't like series books unless I read them all at once. I'm afraid by the time the next one comes out I may not see it or forget what happened in the book. Since this is an author that I like I decided to read this now. Overall a good book, a page turner. I can't wait to find out what happens!

This is the first book in what is to be a new series by Kerry Lonsdale. The Story is Tod from Olivia's point of view, she is the eldest of 3 siblings. The story goes back and forth in time as she alternates present day and the past growing up with her brother and sister. Family drama, mystery, romance and suspense. All I can say is WOW!
Some duel timelines are confusing, this is not. Very well done, Kerry has answered or unraveled most all by the end. Just a few loose ends left to make sure you will be waiting impatiently for book 2. I know I will be.

Well written with good character development and literally couldn’t put the book down. A sister disappears when pregnant never to be seen again. And then 16 years later someone claiming to be that kid shows up on her porch. What comes next is a deep dive into her past and a desperate search for her sister. This author never disappoints. Couldn’t put this book down. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

5* Broken Family Stars

This is the first book in the Carson Family Trilogy and is Olivia’s story. Olivia is the eldest child born to Charlotte and Dwight. She has a younger brother Lucas and sister Lily.

The story alternates between the past and the present. We are introduced to the three siblings in the summer of 1995 where they are spending their summer vacation with the Whitman family. They are very close and protect each other fiercely especially Lilly who is not treated well by her father. After many happy summers spent there, cracks begin to develop between the siblings when secrets and betrayal present themselves and the past starts to unravel.

There was so much family drama and heartache. The authors writing was superb, the flawed characters realistic with some of them likeable and some not!

I am anxious to read the next book as there are answers that need to be addressed and solved and a family in desperate need for reconciliation. I loved this fast-paced domestic drama which did not disappoint.

I’m finding it hard to find the words to write my review for Kerry Lonsdale’s latest novel - No More Words. I am an avid Kerry fan, and will read anything she creates. I’m so happy to let readers know she has one upped her game with No More Words.

NMW is the first of a new trilogy in which we are introduced to the Carson family. This novel revolves around the Oldest sibling Olivia when one day her youngest sibling’s estranged son Josh mysteriously ends up on her doorstep. Readers will discover the family is a complex one, filled with many secrets. When those secrets start to unravel what happens next leaves one turning pages so fast and guessing up until the very end.

If you are looking for a suspense filled family drama with lies, oh and romance too - look no further than No More Words.

I am just happy this is the first of three books - I can’t wait to read about the other siblings, and get answers to the last question readers are left with!
