I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide a review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.

Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.

However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x

A bit too hum-drum for me - the main protagonists felt bland and lacklustre, and the story took way too long to actually happen (for example, the suitcase mixup kept being pushed back for next day and so on, which just seemed like a ploy to drag the tale along) Could work as an easy beach/pool read, but it was too bland for me as a regular read

Such an engaging story that sweeps the reader away to Italy. Great characters and the author does a terrific job of transporting the reader into the world they've created. The pages fly by so quickly!

Escapism at high level, it made wish I was in Positano and escape from reality.
Lovely descriptions of the places flashed out characters, an entertaining and engrossing plot.
It's the first book I read by this author and won't surely be the last.
Recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine

What a joyful read this was when we have covid and we can't travel anywhere so this was just brilliant and what I needed. This is my first by this author and I wasn't unhappy about it, so I'll continue with her book from now.
We are whisked of to the A,alfi coast where we meet a host of characters. We have newly formed friendships and a little romance. Great characters that are so likeable and I didn't want it to end.

Bluebell is reluctant to take up the offer of a free holiday that her grandmother had won from a knitting magazine. However a holiday is what she needs and a free one in Positano is something she cannot say no to. She meets an amazing group of ladies who are on the trip and are insistent that she finds romance. However, they all have their own stories and some secrets. However, having picked up the wrong case at the airport, Bluebell is drawn into the lives of the locals. Will this be her chance of romance? You will have read this amazing story set in the beautiful area of Italy. The sights and description of the local way of life transports you there to sit on the sidelines and watch the story unfold. A brilliant story that will whisk you away on your own 'free' holiday experience.

Thanks to NetGalley for allowing me to read this book in return for an honest review.

It was the cover of this book and the description that drew me to read this book. I am not sure what I expected, but it certainly surprised me in the way that the story of Bluebell, Michaela and Miriam kept me engrossed.
There is romance a plenty, as was expected, but also mystery woven into the well crafted plot. The way each of the holiday party finds their lives enriched and changed is fascinating. The descriptions of the Amalfi coast have made me want to holiday there myself one day.
I heartily recommend this delightful read.

Here's a book to make you happy and feel the sunshine on your face! I love a book set in italy and this had a nice love story angle to it which made it interesting. I'm not sure I liked the character named Bluebell - names like this on novels always put me off, but apart from that niggle, I enjoyed this and now need to go to Italy.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable escapist read. The descriptions were beautiful and I really felt like I was there. It was a little predictable in places but I don't think that matters as the book was so wonderfully written. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family. I really cheered on the characters and it shows you are never too old for love and companionship.
