Although the story itself was enjoyable enough, I did find myself struggling to really immerse myself in this book.
The characters were well thought out though, and I can see that others will truly enjoy this book.

I'll admit I cared not a whit for Daisy in this one - sorry to say, but she was annoying and also a basket case who seemed hopeless ('Sebastian' gave me the shivers, and not the good kind!)
However, I stayed and totally dug this book for...the fridge-freezer! What an amazing character! A total riot, and the little nods to the other appliances (the electric toothbrush and its oscillating head especially) made this a really fresh, fun, and at times absurd story. However, this absurd gave me the best burst of humour in recent times, so yeah, totally did dig the fridge-freezer's POV
It's quirky and frankly weird, but if you're looking for tongue-in-cheek humour in a story that's off the beaten tracks, then check out this book

Unfortunately I couldn’t get this file to open and it had archived by time I noticed so I can’t review, apologies

This is such a great book that focuses around modern society and the role technology now plays in it, it actually made me reflect a lot on how technology has woven its way into my everyday life! This is a great light hearted read and one I would recommend if you are looking for a book to read on your summer holiday.

Ask me Anything - R.Z. Reizin
Such a quirky idea where a smart fridge/freezer is attempting to solve or help the love life of its home dweller. I did struggle to grow any form of bond with the main character, which did spoilt it a little for me. It was just a very different idea for a book and I think that can always be refreshing. Thank you to NetGalley and Little Brown Book Group for allowing me the chance to read and review this book.

Light, funny and silly - a romantic comedy where the main character, a smart fridge/freezer attempts to sort out the love life of its owner.
Very similar vein to PZ Reizin's last book Happiness for Humans, let's hope there's something different in the bag from this author, as I think this theme is now exhausted.

Not my kind of read unfortunately. I found the chapters rather long and it took a while for me to like Daisy.
I did however like the concept of the smart appliances having conversations with one another.

I received a copy of the book from Netgalley to review. Thank you for the opportunity.
OK, this book so definitely out of the ordinary. I'm kind of on the fence about it. The writing is really good and I liked The MC. However, I found it too strange for me that the smart machines were also narrating and a main part of the story.
An OK read.

A great read. The story is tokd by Daisy and her fridge-freezer! The smart appliances in Daisy's flat are conspiring to try and stop her choosing useless men and to find her someone who they think it worth her time. I loved the scenes with Daisy's mum and the fridge
A quirky and different read.
