An excellent book, very useful and informative. I appreciated how it is organised, the clarity of the explanations, the hints and ideas.
I recommend it.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine

The format that this book came in when I downloaded was not the best. The text and spacing was messed up so much that it made it hard for me to follow but overall, this is a great book if you are a coach or want to become one. I am in the HR profession so I can find myself using a lot of these tools with the staff that I support.

As a coach who is new on the long journey ahead, this book is indispensable. So much so that I have immediately ordered a physical copy that I can have on my desk for the very many times I know I will refer to it.

Covering off the most popular coaching framework, GROW, but then exploring others, the book is full of practical applications that coaches can use every day in their practice.

Often I get recommended books to read on coaching, but now I think I’ve found the one that has everything.

Highly recommended.

Good basic book on coaching. It has been updated many times over the years. It gives the information you need if you are interested in being a coach but it was not set up the way I was expecting.

I am currently training to become a well being coach so I was very pleased to be given the opportunity to read this excellent resource for coaches. This is the fourth edition of a book that was initially published in 2006. It contains chapters on theory, tools and techniques to ensure the coach is able to provide the best possible coaching experience for coachees. I found it to be a very accessible book with each chapter set out clearly with explanations of the basic coaching models through to those that were less familiar to me such as Solution focused coaching and and Transpersonal coaching. I was less interested in the section on coaching within organisations but it's a book you can dip into and gain knowledge on your own areas of interest.
Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC.
