Debut novel by TV Meterologist Carol Kirkwood and what a novel to start her writing career and for those around in the 80s a real blast from the past.

This is a story of second chance love, missed opportunities, family and support of good friends under the sun wonderful Greek remote island

Just when you think you have sussed the story Carol Kirwood adds some twists and turns into this interesting story.

Well wriiten and a great summer sunbed read

Really enjoyed this debut novel by this author. Very much a beach read I thought (though I read it in November!), with plenty of summer holiday vibes, especially as it is set on a wonderful sounding Greek island. Loved the characters and the story line had plenty of twists and turns along the way. Yes, it was a typical escapist, romantic novel but there is absolutely nothing wrong with that in my opinion! Look forward to reading more books by Carol.

Thank you to Net Galley and the publishers for allowing me to read this in exchange for an honest opinion, which is what I have given,

I found this a little slow to get going, and a little predictable. However once getting into the story I found it an easy read with some likeable characters. I loved seeing the change in the characters and how their relationships evolved over time. A nice little summer read.

This was a great easy read, and certainly didn't read as thought it was from a debut author.

The characters were mostly likeable, and the settings certainly sounded breath-taking between the white sands and blue waters of Greece to the glitz of Hollywood, the writer certainly transported us to some fabulous settings.

Enjoyable and mostly light-hearted, this book was great to get me into the mood for summer.

I liked Carol Kirkwood's writing style and the plot itself but unfortunately I struggled to get properly into the story. I would still recommend it onwards and it's definitely a summer read by the pool

A brilliant saga read – couldn’t put it down and was reminiscent of Sidney Sheldon.

Well written characters with a fab story-line and. Really couldn’t put it down. Perfect summer read for escapism.

Personally, I didn’t let the proof-reading (or lack of), or cliché names get in the way of the enjoyment of this book and I would highly recommend it for others who like a good saga.

Glamourous and wholesome summery romance, fitting as the debut novel from the lovely Carol Kirkwood, who many of us will know as a TV weather presenter.. A perfect beach read. Uplifting with lots of drama.

Well done Carol Kirkwood! A thoroughly enjoyable little book. Although chick lit with fairly predictable twists this book is well written with great descriptions of Greece. Good holiday read.

The debut novel by the popular tv weather presenter. It was a light, easy beach.read but too flimsy a story for me to engage with.

I really wanted to enjoy this one, I was really just drawn in by the title of it being under the Greek moon I thought I’d get luscious descriptions of the Greek islands that I love so much, instead by 10 chapters in I was just bored of the name dropping. I couldn’t care less about Monaco.

Beautiful story with such a wonderful ending.

I always enjoy a dual timeline and seeing different characters pov so this one didn’t disappoint.

The setting was stunning & the characters were all so interesting. Great.

For a debut novel this was very good and kept you wanting to read on and find out what happens.

Shauna went travelling with Roxy but they split up to go to different places. Shauna ended up working on a yacht and ends up in Ithos we see what happens here over a few weeks. Shauna twenty years later returns to Ithos with Roxy. It brings back all the memories and feels she has to confront her past. It was a wonderful book.

I could not put this book down and was very well written hope she writes more books.

A great easy read. It's the early 1980's two teenagers go on holiday to the South of France on a budget.
Due to circumstances they split up and their lives changes forever. Innocent love affairs that leave a mark.
Almost twenty years later a trip brings back secrets and lies to the forefront.
A great first novel by Carol.

Under a Greek Moon by Carol Kirkwood is simply a piece of pure escapism with a heart.
In short, we follow Irish girl, Shauna O’Brien on her journey to fame and resolution.
This is a book which took me to idyllic Greece with it’s azure seas, warm sunny days and scented olive trees…I was under that Greek moon too! It’s such an easy, well written story which totally captivated me…think Mama Mia without the singing! I loved it and will definitely be looking to read more from Carol.
Big thanks to Carol Kirkwood, HarperCollins UK and NetGalley for this eARC which I chose to read in return for my honest review.
