Wilde Ways has quickly become one of my favorite series by Cynthia Eden. I’ve enjoyed all of her books but there’s just something about this series that really draws me in. Whatever it is, each story is better than the one before and I’m down the rabbit hole until the end. Boy this book did it not disappoint. It was the perfect blend of high powered action and swoon worthy romance. Loved it. Happy reading everyone

In this Wilde Ways installment, Roman is now working for Erik Wilde. But since his past is a big secret, his new partner doesn’t know anything about his skills. In fact, she’s been told he’s a distant relative that Erik had to hire. However, she’s pretty quick and realizes he’s got some training and isn’t being forthcoming. But he also isn’t inept, so she’s doing her best to train him. But for Roman? Every situation he’s in with Harper involves him taking charge to keep her safe. In her view, that means he doesn’t follow orders.

But Erik won’t give her a new partner. He wants her with Roman.

Roman Smith is the son of a truly bad person. He grew up in a bad situation, the son of a Russian mafia boss. He’s not his father. But he isn’t exactly a good guy either. Ms. Eden excels in writing those types of heroes, and I love each and every one of them. Roman is tough, sexy, broody, and can handle any situation. It’s seriously sexy.

Harper is competent and smart. I love heroines who also know how to handle themselves and the situations that pop up. That’s why I love seeing two agents fall in love. At first, they aren’t working out as partners since Roman keeps trying to protect Harper and jump in front of bullets for her. She isn’t having that. She is the senior agent, and he’s still in his probationary period. He should be listening to her. And yet…he still keeps taking over. This drives Harper crazy.

But then someone from Roman’s past pops back up in his life and his and Harper’s case turns south. Roman will do anything to protect Harper…except let her in. He doesn’t want her to see the darkness inside of him. But Harper sees far more than darkness. She sees light. Goodness. A man she could love.

The sexiness is off the charts in this book, and I love these two together. They are a strong and capable couple that works well together, and I loved seeing them in action. The ending was a surprise to me, I don’t think I’ve ever read an ending like that before and it works! I can’t wait for the next Wilde Ways book, and I really loved the bit of a teaser at the end. This author writes fantastic Romantic Suspenses, and I would drop everything to read one of her books. This series is fantastic, and if you haven’t read it yet, the first book is free right now. I am a big fan of Romance books and I found this one to be a very enjoyable read. I will be looking for more books from this author.

Fast paced and easy to get into, just like the others in the series. Read it start to finish in a day and loved every second of it. Roman and Harper were great partners and the plot was strong. It was fun, fast, sexy, and entertaining from page 1 to the very last page and I want more when it was finished. This series gives you everything, fast paced action, intense and enough passion to satisfy, strong characters, entertaining plot and conflict, it is just great and fun to read.

I love a good at odds partnership/odd-couple romance!

Roman (ex-assassin and tangled up in the Wilde extended family tree) has been foisted onto Harper as her new partner. Harper is steaming mad. She's had him as a partner for a week and that's about 6 days too long in her opinion! Roman is weirdly protective/possessive of her and she is a kickbutt operative, even if her training was a tad..off-centre.

Roman is about to go hulk on someone. They have it in for Harper and he thinks it's because of his past. A past that he can't exactly tell Harper about. Cos if this particular cat gets out of the bag...well Harper is deadly at the best of times - that news would just send her to Defcon1!

Love that this series has extremely capable female characters, they may not all be agents or what have you but they are now damsels in a dress. They have their own talents and are not above saving the say themselves (sometimes you just have to save yourself!)

Dex is still as mysterious as ever and enjoying torturing Roman just a little too much LOL.

I love Cynthia Eden and I love this series. Roman Will Fall was no exception! I adored this book from start to finish and can’t wait for the next in this series.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

I was so looking forward to seeing more of Roman so was so very excited to read his story.

This is such a great series and there has not been a book that I did not absolutely love! I think the characters like Roman and Ghost are probably my favorites.

Poor Harper is partnered with Roman and thinks he is a newbie when he probably has more skills (and kills) than she does. Lots of secrets going on in this book and even Roman doesn't know all the parts of his past.

Non-stop drama and action make this book hard to put down and I just had to read it right through in one sitting! But to truly enjoy it, I will be going back and starting it over and reading it a bit more slowly the second time!

I love that we see some of the other Wilde guys as part of the book. The next book looks pretty good, and it is so hard to wait for it.

When I get a new Cynthia Eden book I make sure I clear an afternoon so I can read it in one sitting. This is part of the Wilde series but can be read as a standalone. Roman considers himself a bad person due to what he had to do to survive the way he was raised. When he becomes partners with Harper at the Wilde Security Firm, Roman tries to keep his distance but Harper is like no one he's ever met. Harper can handle herself and keeps trying to let Roman know that she is the senior partner but he's used to taking charge. They are wildly attracted to each other and when Roman's enemies find out, they kidnap Harper to get back at him. This means war and Roman will do anything to rescue Harper. Non-stop action, suspense, and romance make this a great read!

Roman will Fall is another romance by Cynthia Eden. She never fails to delight the senses. Good writing and wonderful characters.

4.25 stars--ROMAN WILL FALL is the eleventh instalment in Cynthia Eden’s contemporary, adult WILDE WAYS erotic, romantic suspense series focusing on the men and women who work for Wilde Ways Security. This is new hiree Roman Smith, and security agent Harper Crane’s story line. ROMAN WILL FALL can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from third person perspective (Roman and Harper) ROMAN WILL FALL follows the acrimonious relationship between Wilde Ways new hiree Roman Smith, and security agent Harper Crane. Harper wants nothing to do with her new partner Roman Smith. Harper is effervescent, bubbly, take charge agent but Roman pushes all of our heroine’s buttons with his brooding, silence and one-word answers until an assignment finds our couple in the direct line of fire, a target Roman blames on his dark and dangerous past. In an effort to protect the woman with whom he is falling in love, Roman becomes guardian and protector but someone is desperate to destroy our hero, starting with the thing he loves the most. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Harper and Roman, and the potential fall-out as Roman struggles with secrets from the past, secrets that will are about to be exposed.

Roman Smith knows a thing or two about the dangerous players in the game of international espionage having been one of the most dangerous players of them all but it is his past that is trying to destroy his future, and in this he refuse to place Harper in the direct line of fire. Harper Crane knows Roman is keeping secrets including his real identity, back story and people from his past. Without knowing who is after them, Harper struggles between head and heart, and every threat pulls Roman further away.

The relationship between Harper and Roman is tempestuous at best but one of immediate attraction between our story line couple. Roman knows that to get involved with Harper Crane means placing our heroine in the direct line of fire. Together, and in hiding, Harper and Roman will take their relationship from professional to love but in doing so, once again, make Harper a liability Roman can no longer afford. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

The secondary and supporting characters include Wilde Ways owner Eric Wilde; IT hacker and CIA operative Antony Kyle; Roman’s former handler Dexter ‘Dex’ Ryan; museum curator Tomas Archwright, and his assistant Charity Hall. Antony’s story line is next in THE ONE WHO GOT AWAY.

ROMAN WILL FALL is a story of secrets and lies; betrayal and vengeance; power and control; relationships and love. The character driven premise is intriguing and imaginative; the romance is spicy and seductive; the characters are charismatic, stubborn and dynamic.

I received an advanced reader copy of this book to leave an honest review. I have read many books by Cynthia Eden including most of this series. I enjoy Cynthia's writing style and her plots; there are no large gaps in the plot and she keeps you engaged throughout the whole book. If you like a good romance with suspense I would definitely recommend this series.

This book follows Roman Smith who you meet in the previous book and Harper. Roman is a former rogue agent who is trying to live a new life. He gets paired with Harper at Wilde Securities as her new partner. Harper has been with Wilde for years and is outgoing and vivacious...the complete opposite of Roman. The case they take on is to protect the jewels at a museum and end up foiling a heist. After that, chaos ensues with Harper being kidnapped, Roman being shot at and car explosions. All of this is because Roman's past didn't stay buried and they are targeting Harper and Roman's feelings for her to draw him out..

This book definitely keeps you on your toes! It is a fun, fast read.

What a delightful addition to this amazing series! I loved the character of Harper Crane, her witty dialog and her “full steam ahead” attitude to get things done. Roman Smith is flawed and feels that his past deeds do not make him worthy of Harper’s love. When Harper first complains about Roman it is because she is the senior agent and is supposed to be training him as a Wilde agent. He insists in trying to protect her instead of being her partner. After there are threats on her life, he believes the threats are really aimed at him and someone from his past wants him dead. Evidently, his “fake” death from before has not fooled anyone. He had hoped to put his dangerous past behind him, but it looks like he is going to have to find the person responsible for threatening Harper and do what he does best…kill them. Everything you want is in this book; action, suspense, hot romance, wonderful characters and a plot that will keep you turning the pages. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)

My husband is fond of the notion that you shouldn’t buy a bottle of wine just because the label’s pretty. Likewise with books, I say. If you haven’t read any of Cynthia Eden’s Wilde Ways books, start with this one – ROMAN WILL FALL. It’s a solid suspense wrapped up in a pretty contemporary package. In this case, Roman Smith is the ‘bad guy’ wrapped up in the ‘good guy’ package, though in all honesty now that he’s part of the Wilde security team, it’s easy to see he’s actually very good. Very good. He’s paired with partner Harper Crane for a security gig that brings them into close contact. And when she’s threatened (and worse), his protective instincts kick in and that’s all she wrote. This whole Wilde series is a lot of fun, and Eden has smartly balanced the elements of romance and suspense with fun characters who all know how to get into—and out of—trouble.

ROMAN WILL FALL is the eleventh book in Cynthia Eden’s “Wilde Ways” series about the Wilde security agency and their trained operatives falling in love. Roman Smith aka Roman Valentino is the newest Wilde agent and he’s paired with senior agent Harper Crane on a six month probationary period. Having come from the violent and cutthroat world of his late crime boss uber villain father, and the spy world of his friend Dex, being an agent for Wilde seems like a natural for Roman. He falls for Harper the first time he meets her. Because of his past, Roman has a certain amount of guilt and self-loathing that is a barrier to being with the woman of his dreams. Throughout the book, Harper keeps shattering Roman’s assumptions and expectations when it comes to her. She may look cute with her dimples, but she is tenacious, resourceful, and exactly what he needs.

Roman is introduced in the previous book as a tall, dark, and deadly man of mystery. While each book in this series works well as a standalone novel, I recommend reading SAY I DO before ROMAN WILL FALL. SAY I DO is about Roman’s sister and introduces him while providing some of his backstory. In ROMAN WILL FALL, readers take more of a deep dive into the character and discover what motivates and haunts him. Given the work they do and the kind of people who have it in for Roman, his fears for Harper’s safety are understandable, but she is hardier than she looks. Although basically alone in the world, Harper has experienced some amazing things that not a lot of people have. She’s adaptable and pragmatic. Roman doesn’t do an obnoxious full effort to “push her away for her own good” that some romance heroes do – thankfully – but he does try to warn her that being with him might be hazardous to her health. Harper is not a woman easily pushed around and warned off and ends up rescuing Roman more times than anybody must rescue her. The chemistry between these two is fab and Cynthia Eden excels once again at writing flawlessly scenes.

ROMAN WILL FALL has a delicious devoted dangerous man of mystery and a heroine who can rescue herself. One of the supporting characters in ROMAN WILL FALL is Antony Kyle, who was first introduced in NEVER GONNA HAPPEN. Antony is one of my fav types of heroes – a sexy nerd. I can’t wait to read Antony’s book next!

I have been a huge fan of this series, and the characters and the general premise of the stories. This story focuses on two Wilde partners, Harper, who has worked at Wilde for a while and is well-liked, and Roman, who is a new addition and who is not earning any points with Harper.

Roman Will Fall showacases a definite strong female lead because Harper is one tough woman. This book is full of drama and suspense and mystery as Harper is involved in multiple attempts on her life as Roman works overtime to keep her safe and figure out if he is somehow the ultimate target. In the meantime, the chemistry between the two of them reaches scorching levels, altering the course of their relationship and blurring all the lines.

I read this book in one sitting because I had to know what was going to happen and because I was so invested in the story. Although there was a brief stint of work-related discord, I did find the relationship between Roman and Harper to be a little too close to insta-love, which I am not a huge fan of, but aside from this, I did really enjoy the story overall. I just wish there was maybe a little more build up to their relationship/involvement. I do love this series and the Wilde team!

Another explosive, edge of your seat romantic suspense by none other than Cynthia Eden who excels in this genre! I don't know how she comes up with new and creative story lines for these characters but somehow she does and I hope she continues to do so. I love when an author can make me cheer for the bad guy and Roman is a bad boy with a heart of gold. Harper couldn't have been a better partner and counterpart to Roman. Ms. Eden certainly knows how to keep the plot moving swiftly! These are always fast reads for me because I simply can't put them down once I get into them. And it's always fun and enjoyable to revisit some of the characters from the previous books in this series. Exciting, fun and flirty, suspenseful and steamy -- what else could you want?! I can't wait for Ella & Antony's story!! I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC for NetGalley.

Difficult to believe that Roman Will Fall is the eleventh book in the Wilde Ways Series by Cynthia Eden. Each story has remained an exciting and romantic read with this one being no different. Well-written with a blend of steamy romance, danger, and thrill.

Great heroine who can stand up when needed for herself and for her guy. Roman is not nearly as bad as he thinks he is. Just a pleasure to watch these two learn to trust each other while working together. Never a dull moment in Roman Will Fall.

The entire series is enjoyable but if you are a new fan to the series don’t worry Roman Will Fall is stand-alone. You can also count on a HEA by the end.

4.5 Stars
An ARC of the book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Harper is a senior agent for Wilde. Roman is her new partner. Roman is frustrating. He forgets who the senior agent is and he even had the nerve to eat her chocolates. Roman has secrets, the kind that could get even a good agent killed. Oh did I mention that Roman is hot, hot, hot! Oh and when Roman and Harper are together fireworks go off, bullets to!

I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own

Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for an opportunity to read this book for an honest review. Wow Cynthia Eden has knocked it out the park with this one! I loved Roman and Harper, the chemistry along with their past kept the reader guessing. I loved past characters Dex and Antony and I am so looking forward to the next book with Ella and Antony.
Harper and Roman are partners at Wilde Industries and after a case protecting jewels, someone kidnaps Harper and Roman will move heaven and earth to find out who has Harper and to get her back. What is the motive of the kidnapper? does it involve Roman and his past?
Loved this story, loved the characters. Bravo work Ms. Eden.
