Isabel Jolie is a new author to me and I’m excited to say that I enjoyed Chasing Frost . Come to find out this book is part of a series , so I will be checking those out pretty soon .
I liked chase and Sadie , especially Sadie since she is a bad ass FBI agent and their chemistry was on point.

Chasing Frost was a delightful surprise. It is an intriguing story with an intricately weaved storyline that kept me quickly turning the pages. The characters are realistic and interesting and this exciting story kept me on the edge of my seat. It has suspense and romance all rolled into one fascinating story.

Sadie, is an FBI agent working undercover investigating Chase and the company he works for. Unfortunately, what should be a two week open and shut case turns into more.

Chase and Sadie are polar opposites and because of their different personalities, they frustrate each other. Chase is laid back, fun and outgoing and everyone loves him. Chase is also full of contrasts; he is an accountant who likes working with numbers, but he isn’t boring or stuffy or introverted. Although he has goals and works hard, Chase makes it look like so easy people underestimate him. Chase has his vulnerabilities and he has made up for what he considers his inadequacies, by making everyone laugh and being their friend. I loved his inner dialogue.

Sadie is a woman trying to make it in a male dominated field and she is afraid to let her guard down. She is an uptight, professional, straight laced workaholic. She doesn’t have friends and rarely sees or talks to her family. At first, she doesn’t like anything about Chase, but as time goes on, she comes to appreciate him. Rather than disliking Sadie, I felt sorry for her and was hoping Chase would be able to loosen her up.

What I enjoyed most about Chase and Sadie are their layers and imperfections.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading their story and thought they were great together. They share a lot of chemistry and although they are polar opposite, they work well together and are perfect for each other. This is the first book I have by Isabel Jolie and it won’t be my last. I couldn’t put this book down and I stayed up way too late reading it.

Chasing Frost is the fifth book in the West Side series by Ms. Jolie. I didn't know this when I requested this ARC and even though I picked up that it probably was a book in a series it read very well as a stand alone, however, now I need to go back and read the other books for sure.

Sadie is a rookie FBI agent and on her first case. She is investigating BB&E and Chase is her main suspect in fraud. Of course she's going to fall for him. I liked their chemistry but I had some issued with Chase's frat boy mentality in the beginning and almost stopped reading because I was finding him annoying but as I kept reading and I got to know him better through the story I liked him more and more. The story has suspense, the mystery of who really is the bad guys, and romance so what's not to like.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts, misspelling, and grammar errors in this review are all on own.

Chasing Frost is a good book with some action in it. You get to follow Chase and Sadie as they slowly but surly fall in love with each other. The best part? Sadie is a strong lead that take charge trough the book. As Chase say: Bond girl.
If you like undercover FBI agents falling for their suspect than this is the book for you!

One of the best quotes I have ever read:
"She´s my person. I'm holding on."
I think a lot of people don't think this way when something don't work out in a relationship. However I find the quote beautiful.

Sydney Frost is an undercover FBI agent who is actually working undercover for the first time. Her assignment is to find out about the firm and the illegal accounting that is going on. She focuses on Chase the one person in the office who shows up in jeans and a t-shirt and is always happy. He also has an account with 12 million dollars in it. While looking at him and getting to know his habits she finds herself liking the guy and hoping it is not him.
She is also dealing with her ex who is also an FBI agent who thinks she cannot do the job of going undercover, and her sister who wants to know what is going on. Then you have Chase who finds out that there are problems with the numbers with some accounts and you the reader are now wondering who are the people doing it. He also sees his confusion when he finds out that Frost is not who she really says she is. A good story with suspense, mystery, and romance, a good book.

Chasing frost is the fifth book in the West Side series and can be read as a stand alone. This book was fun and entertaining to read. I absolutely love reading about a strong female protagonist and this is exactly the book for that. I recommend this book to someone looking for a fast read that you can get lost in.

What a turnaround! The FBI agent is an undercover female agent and the hero is a business guru, everyone's favourite guy! He's also not the strapping 6ft plus hero you usually find. But good things come in shorter packages - do not let Chase's shorter stature make you think he's less than capable.

Sadie AKA Sydney is newly arrived in NYC and finds herself immediately working undercover investigating BB&E for possible mishandling of funds. The main target of her investigation is Chase but from her first day, she realises that he is everyone's favourite guy. The guy clients love cos he can get them what they want and he'll come through on all his promises. His colleagues and clients would be heartbroken if theallegations are true!

Chase may be the life and soul of the party but he is also business savvy and has the bank balance to prove it. He's also become aware of some irregularities but thinks it's down to the recent demise of the account manager. But as things progress he and Sydney realise that someone is out to frame him for the fraud!

They spend more and more time together, between the gym and get togethers with his friends. They slowly open to each other but Chase is still left reeling when Sadie's true employment is revealed!

Sadie is so used to men trying to one-up her that she doesn't really know how to deal with Chase's open nature. He wants nothing from her except her time and company. Sadie didn't want to become her father, always mission first, but that's just what she is becoming. Chase and Sadie bring out the best in each other and I really enjoyed their dynamic. I loved the way Sadie was just absorbed into Chase's group and how tortured she was as she got to know them but also learned how deeply Chase might be involved and thought of how devastated they would be - not your typical Agent response and reaction!

My first read from this author but I doubt it will be my last!

I don't generally enjoy series where the main characters are different in every book. I get pretty attached to characters and want to see more of them, not side characters. However, I was not aware that this book was the 5th in a series before I read. Which I guess worked in its favor, as I loved this story. It starts off a little bit slow, setting the stage for the romance that is going to develop.

The story starts with FBI agent Sadie going undercover at an accounting firm to find out who's been falsifying data. Only, she didn't expect to fall for their main suspect.

I enjoyed getting to know these characters and follow along on their journey. It was also great to see the woman get to be the badges for once.

Having just finished this book I can say I certainly enjoyed it, I love the mix of mystery and crime with romance intertwined. It took me a few chapters to get into the book , but once I felt like I had got to know the characters more I found myself invested in them as characters and wanting to know how it all turned out. I really appreciate the details that the author has put in to really create more depth to the story and what was happening!

Wow, amazing writing, edge-of-your-seat intrigue and steamy chemistry between the characters -- why did I wait so long to read this author's work?! Needless to say, I have not read the previous books in this West Side Series, but I most definitely will be reading them now. I'm thinking that since they're standalones, reading them out of order won't ruin them for me. I loved everything about this read -- Ms. Jolie's writing is fast paced and flows easily. I loved the relationship dynamics among Chase's group of friends and I absolutely adored Chase's self-deprecating and almost humble personality. He was the perfect match for FBI undercover agent Sydney/Sadie. I read this over a weekend and literally couldn't put it down! I'm sure the other 4 books in this series are just as engrossing and exciting so I'll be reading them soon. I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC for NetGalley.

Two sides to every story, FBI agent Sadie is undercover trying to get information on our lead man, Chase. All she needs to do is get in and then get right back out without blowing her cover. I cannot express how much I enjoyed reading this tale of these two getting to know each other, while one of them is not who she says she is. The story is an easy read and you do not have to have had read the others in the series in order to understand this one. If you get the chance to read I would defiantly give it a try.
