I loved this book! I was hooked from the beginning and did not see the ending coming!

Dana has a beautiful little girl and another baby due in a few weeks. She is stressed and wants more help from her husband. At a family barbecue she realizes that her daughter does not have her favorite toy. She goes home to get it but never makes it out of the driveway after hearing a thump. She finds out she hit her daughter and there is no way to save her. Immense guilt engulfs her. She wants her daughter back but she has a new baby to think about.

I can’t imagine going through what Dana does. Her strength is amazing. At times is may not seem like it but she does the best she can while everything falls apart around her. The people she thinks are friends do not act like friends and her husband just wants her to move on.

I read this book in two days and could not put it down.

DNF at 10%
Was unbelievable the Dad went off to work hours after his daughter is crushed to death by their car, leaving his pregnant wife at home
The Sisters reaction to her Sister being adopted unrealistic for a mature woman
And the sex scene, was just there and not sure why
I didn’t like the writing style clunky conversations and 10% was enough to realise this was not for me at all

This is the first book I've ready by Kirsty Ferguson. It was a quick read with some twists that left me guessing right to the end.
I love psychological thriller and the premise for the story was really an intriguing one, but somehow it didn't really deliver, the characters seemed a bit flat and the ending somewhat confused.
I would definitely like to give this author another try.

Thank you to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I think the plot was a great concept, was really looking forward to the book. Unfortunately, the book itself fell a little flat for me. I had a hard time believing the characters, and the story line didn't flow, seemed disjointed. The ending did have an unexpected twist that I didn't predict.
I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

The description sounded good but sadly the book didn't live up to my expectations. A quick OK read but a bit disappointing in my opinion. Sorry !

I really had high expectations for this book. The idea for the story was really good and I was expecting a page-turning thriller that I wouldn't be able to put down. I was terribly disappointed.
After a tragedy befalls Dana, who is pregnant with her second child at the time her life seems to crumble and fall totally apart. The people close to her who are supposed to have her back and show her love and supposed seem to all have their own malicious agendas leaving her alone and afraid.
As I said, the thought behind the storyline was a good, intriguing plot, but the execution of it was poor. The characters undeveloped, the dialogue stilted and the actions unrealistic. There was no connection, everything was disjointed and some parts just didn't make any sense at all. There is a twist at the end I wasn't expecting, but the ending itself felt rushed and incomplete and left unanswered questions.
I am sorry but I can only give 2 stars, I would not recommend this book as it is now. Maybe with some rewriting and development of the characters it could be improved upon, since the plot idea is a good one.
Thank you to the publishers at Boldwood Books and to NetGalley for the free advanced reader copy of the e-book version of this novel, I am giving my honest review in return.

Dana has all she ever wanted – a husband she loves, her four-year-old daughter Kelsey who is the apple of her eye, and another baby on the way to complete her perfect family.

But then the worst fear that Dana has, comes true, and everything she thought she knew, she now starts to doubt. As her world comes crashing around her, who can Dana trust?

Even though it was a quick read and had an intriguing premise, it slightly lacked in execution.

Initially when I started reading this book, I was excited and I thought that this is going to be interesting and exciting. But after a few chapters, all the excitement just frizzled out. I found all the characters annoying.

All the incidents in the plot were obviously leading up to the final twist at the end. But there were so many things that happened in the last few pages that it just ended up being messed up.

Thank You NetGalley and Boldwood Books for this ARC!

This book had a good premise but fell woefully flat. It centers around Dana, who suffers a terrible tragedy at the beginning of the book and is surrounded by friends and family who are unsupportive and even abusive.

The writing in this book was simple and perfunctory, and didn’t allow for any characterization. The things the characters said and did either didn’t make sense as a way that someone would actually act, or followed a cliche (or both) and I just didn’t get it.

The end had one twist that would have been good if the writing had been better, and another twist that came out of left field and was never explained. I had no vested interest in what happened to the characters, even when more tragedies occurred.

I would not recommend this book- it’s a shame that a storyline with potential didn’t manifest into an enjoyable read. The positives were that it was a quick read, and a dark read (which I generally enjoy), but I cannot recommend it. Thanks to Netgalley for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

A lot of domestic drama that did not need to be thrown at the reader It appeared that the entire family had problems bottled up - that were somewhat in their own minds...

Characters were not too well depicted - except for their negative sides.

The most suspenseful moment (IMO) was during the first pages. I did not see the story build after this event.

All in all a quick, OK read.

Many Thanks to Boldwood Books and NetGalley for a fast read.

Ever ask yourself, “What did I just read?” No? You will. Just give yourself a few hours with Ferguson’s newest domestic thriller, “Who Do You Trust?”

Kirsty Ferguson will take you down a dark rabbit hole and you’ll be scrambling to make your way out to the sunlight and a breath of fresh air. You’ve been warned. I took the synopsis at face value and wasn’t ready for the dark theme of this psychological thriller.

Yes, it kept me on the edge of my seat. I was on a wild roller coaster ride after the first chapter and had no expectations for rational behavior. I felt the majority of the story was implausible and the characters were weak and underdeveloped. The only emotion I felt was for the main character, Dana. I couldn’t believe that her world was imploding around her and she had no trustworthy people to depend on for support. If anything, this book will make you stop and appreciate what you have in your life. You’ll want to share that extra hug, text a loved one or mend a broken relationship. For that, I thank the author.

Ready for a ride of your life? Hop on, buy the book. You’ve been warned! Remember, everyone has something to hide in this book….not the reviewer.

Thank you to Kirsty Ferguson, Boldwood Books and NetGalley for the advance copy in exchange for my honest review.

I had high hopes for this book but was left disappointed.

Dana is pregnant with her second child when tragedy strikes at a family party. Logan (her husband) and Dana must find a new way forwards but literally every person in their life is somehow a malevolent force out to destroy them.

The writing was simplistic and the characters behaved oddly and erratically.

The whole thing was vastly implausible and the ending was rushed and left unanswered questions.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers but this one was not for me.

Who Do You Trust? by Kirsty Ferguson is a fast-paced rollercoaster of a ride that I just devoured. There are enough red herrings here to keep your head spinning from beginning to end. Yes, the plotline is completely implausible, but that fact does nothing, in my opinion, to detract from this thoroughly addictive read.

When tragedy strikes Dana and Logan's young family, a grieving and pregnant Dana struggles to accept the incomprehensibility of their new reality. Husband Logan does not seem to offer the support she so desperately needs, her parents and sister reveal a startling and life-changing secret, and friends new and old seem to have their own agendas when it comes to providing love and support for the spiralling young mother. Dana wonders who, if anyone, among this very dubious cast of characters can be trusted to have her best interests at heart and, by extension, the reader is pulled into a dizzying vortex of suspicion and doubt.

I cannot wait to read more from this author.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for an ARC of this title.

A perfect sunny day, a family celebration, a heart-stopping hour that changes everything...
I enjoyed this book to a point. I felt it wasn't the best I've read. I loved the story just wished it had more to it.

How one tragic accident can turn your world upside down. Dana and Logan had a beautiful funny 4 year old and Dana was expecting her second child. Then in an instant their world came crashing down and everything changed. This story was a fast read, but really kept you guessing to the very end. I did enjoy it very much and look forward to reading some more of this author's books.

This was a no starter for me unfortunately and after reading the title I thought it was going to be a page turner.

The story line and the characters were poor and it just didn't grab me at all.

Thank you to Netgalley and Boldwood Books for giving me the opportunity to read this book but I don't think I will read more from this author.

I very much enjoyed this domestic thriller, where everyone has something to hide... Truly a rollercoaster of a read, when a seemingly perfect life of the protagonist comes tumbling down.
