I couldn't put this book down! It's action packed with twist and turns that you never saw coming. The way the characters adapt and react to the "zombies" are scarily accurate to the covid world we live in today, which definitely makes you think.

This is the third (and last) book in the abnormal/variant series and one I have been waiting for with high expectations. I was not disappointed since this book finishes off the story about Cate, Mel, Marco and their friends with a satisfying, action-packed plot while also giving you food for thought. I am not going to go into the story much, suffice it to say that if you have read and enjoyed the previous books you will not be disappointed with the last one.

If you haven't read the first 2 books but do love an apocalyptic book with zombies, strong characters and realistic take on what could happen within a society and the way humans can adapt then this is the series for you and I urge you to pick up the first book.

The Beginning starts right where it left off in book 2 so apart from the fact that it seems weird to start a series with the concluding book it really isn't recommended in this case because you won't understand what is going on. I closed the book with a sense of satisfaction, glad to have read the final installment and I will keep my eye out for other work of this writer.

I do love a good zombie apocalypse novel while sitting at home during the second lockdown ugh. This book certainly delivered! This is the last of a three book series and it was action packed from the first page. Written is such a hopeful yet gory and savage way that it wrapped up the series beautifully. Questioning family and humanity ...what it all means now... Highly recommend this trilogy.

Thank you netgalley for this arc
